Has Sonos removed or changed where they showed release notes on updates? I don’t see the section anymore.

Ever since I implemented Sonos voice control, Alexa no longer works. Sonos voice control is inadequate, in my opinion, so I would really like to reactivate Alexa.is Alexa permanently inoperable after you implement Sonos voice?Alexa will repeat my command, but no music will play.

I have a Sonos Arc and want to go surround. Will the Sonos Mini sub and speaker set work with my Arc? It’s a smallish room.

Sonos was working perfectly!  Then we went away for 3 weeks. When we came back:  I can ask Alexa questions etc etc , but when I ask for music example ‘Play BBC Radio 2’ it responds saying ‘Playing BBC Radio 2 from BBC sounds’ but nothing plays , Same request ‘Play Virgin Radio’ responds ‘Saying playing Virgin Radio from TuneIn Radio’ but nothing comes out of the speaker. -Also Amazon Music does not work, when asking ‘Play 90’s music’ response i get is ‘first enable the skill for the Sonos beam in the Alexa App and then discover devices’  this I think is the problem and what devices is it trying to discover ?   I also have the sonos beam in my TV room for the last year and it is also doing the same. When I manually play songs from the SONOS APP….it plays beautifully.  But we got it because it could play our favorite RADIO stations or songs upon request.  It no longer does that.  It keeps doing as described in the second paragraph below.

On my MacBook Pro it is saying there is a Sonos update available. When I do it I get an error message.    An Unexpected error occurred. Please try again.

We moved and now i can’t get anything to link!!

How can I get my mp3 files in my Downloads folder to the Music Library on my Sonos system? Thanks for your help!

In-ceiling speakers (powered via sonos amp) not playing as surround sound but if I remove the surround sound speakers and have in-ceiling speaker as own group, it will play audio. I have disconnected (unplugged) all sonos products, unplugged router. Rebooted and turned on the products one by one and there was not a fix. I repeated several times, no change.my arc is via Wi-Fi, the amp is wired. I interchangeably moved amp from Wi-Fi to wired and that did not work either.is there any other alternatives?

Hello. In the last two weeks, sonos won’t play saved albums and says “unable to browse music”.Also, it won’t play any albums once you have searched for them (in the search area) but might play a selected song from the album Or it plays something entirely different. This has also happened to a friend and we don’t know what to do.  Thank you.

Hi,I have an AMP in an AV rack a long distance from the room with ceiling speakers that the AMP serves.I’ve placed a Sonos SUB in the room itself and it’s connected to Wifi, and there are other Sonos units in nearby rooms (so the SonosNet signal strength in the room should be good), the room has good Wifi signal also). The audio to the sub cuts in and out and sometimes there’s no audio from the SUB at all.The AMP is wired to the network, so the system is in SonosNet mode.My assumption was that the SUB would connect via SonosNet, or via Wifi, to the AMP. but it seems that the AMP is attempting to directly connect (i.e. not over Wifi, and not over SonosNet) to the SUB, and being some physical distance in the AV Cupboard, it’s intermittently failing to maintain it’s own direct wireless connection to the SUB - is that how it works?I.e. you need to have the AMP and SUB physically near each other so they can connect via a direct non-Wifi, non-SonosNet wireless link? As an aside, when I connec

I was reading the support article that explains the wireless modes, and I noticed that a surround speaker or Sub should be in WM: 2. In my ‘About My System’ it shows my Sub in WM: 0. I have never seen it in WM: 2 regardless of what is playing (HDMI source vs streaming audio). The Arc also shows WM: 0. Neither Arc nor Sub are hardwired via ethernet, but I do have a Sonos One in the next room that is.Does this indicate that there is an issue or is this normal?  I do not currently have surrounds, so it is just the Arc + Sub.Thanks for your help!

I'm not the first reporting it, but not understanding from the other threads what i should do as a next step...Suddenly my sonos playbar gives a continous pitching noise. Doesn't change if i plug in out ethernet or optical. In any case, i expected this device to last a few decades. Anything i can try to fix it? Kr

I am hoping I can run 2 sets of speakers for 2 separate rooms off of one Sonos amp.   any suggestions or do I need to buy another amp?

Only started tonight but I'm getting a different album from the one I requested on Amazon Streaming. Tends to be a simliar genera but completely different artist. When I ask for album info I only get one track listed. It isn't the one playing!

I have a Sonos S2 system with a few Ones and a Roam in it.  We’re going on holiday soon and would like to take the Roam with us and put it on the holiday home’s wifi network.I’ve read other posts saying I can go to the general network settings and add multiple wifi networks which sounds exactly what I want. However, I’m just a little confused.  If I take the Roam away from my own network, how do I connect to it so I can put the new wifi network in?  Sorry I’ve seen a few questions on it - a lot about using multiple Sonos systems which isn’t what I’m after - but I’m obviously missing one small detail.  I’m sure this must have been answered elsewhere.

Just bought a Sonos arc and sub refurbished from sonos.com connected to Samsung qled via hdmi arc and original cable. But after 30 min there was a loud pop/crack and then shut down. This happen again after a reboot.  there was also some crackling/static sound once. diagnostic id : 1295034610

I have just recently moved to my SONOS system which is superb. I do have one issue as I have a Ray connected to 2 One SL speakers and Trueplay set up.  A couple of times now it goes onto mute. When I tap the Play on the Ray it comes back to life. Any idea why this happens and how do you deliberately set it to mute as I cannot see any instruction to do that?

I recently purchased a Sonos Roam SL speaker and connected it to my computer. But sometimes the volume balance goes high and sometimes low. Is it the speaker issue or the issue of my computer? I was totally puzzled about what to do. Could someone please suggest a solution that might assist in resolving this issue?

Hi I’m just checking if this is normal. I currently have a playbar two play ones and a sub in one room. I’ve recently purchased an arc two one Sl’s and sub which is in another room. I’m about my system it’s show the kit in which room it’s assigned to but not the two subs. Is this normal. I do feel like since I’ve added the new system that I’m not getting the impact I used to have when I just had the 5.1

I just want to remove a Play:1 from my S1 Controller, and then add it to my S2 Controller. It seems that would be a rather common procedure, but I cannot find it either online within Sonos or on third-party sites.

I can play an Amazon Prime playlist but the list itself is not shown

My Sonos One and Echo both stopped responding to voice commands last night.  While the Echo is now working correctly, the Sonos I'd a different story.  I have tried everything, including a Factory Reset.I'm hoping someone had some fresh ideas.

I have an lg television 49UN711C0ZBwhich is connected to my Sonos arc through the earc port and the sound set to pass through to the sound bar.HDMI 1 is set to bitstream and I have connected a Sony input x800m2 blue ray player.this is my second blue ray player that I have bought when playing a film the trailers sound amazing with the Sonos app reporting that they are a 5.1 formatas soo. As the film starts to play the sound quality drops and the effects are reduced.the Sonos app is reporting the sound as stereo.this is frustrating as I get Arnos and 5.1 when I use any of the tvs built in apps and also 5.1 from my virgin boxcan anyone help me with the correct settings as I don’t want to send another blue ray player back

I want to avoid having to pass wires through the wall if possible. Does know if I can connect a Sonos Beam (Gen 2) to Samsung Smart TV wirelessly?

im not sure what has happened, I am still using the s1 app but three of my speakers now say they are incompatible and they worked fine before, I am trying to down grade which has worked on one of them but not on the other two, but even the one that is downgraded will not let me add it back into the sonos 1 app as its saying its needs to update first and it cant update because of a problem with the boost and one of the other speakers, this is all way beyond me
