Can I plug a hardwired sub woofer into the connect Amp when it is being used to power surround speakers paired with an Arc?

No. When used as a surround sound device, the Sub port is turned off. It is only active when used in a ‘front speakers in a home theater’ context, or when used outside a home theater context.
