AMP Connected to Samsung TV But Not Getting Audio

Hi. I have my Samsung TV connected to my AMP using an HDMI over ethernet (cat6) adapter. The sound connection is recognized on the TV but I'm not getting audio to the ceiling speakers or fronts. I'm trying to set up my in ceiling and front wall speakers along with in wall subs into a souround sound set up. I suspect that there is a lot going on there. Any suggestions? Thanks

The Amp needs HDMI-ARC that uses different pins on the HDMI connector. Is your adapter ARC-compatible?

hello, indeed the amp receives the signal in HDMI arc.If you use an HDMI to Ethernet transformer, on the other side you must have the reverse Ethernet to HDMI.and everything must be ARC compatible.is your tv very far from the amp?Cordially
