I’ve been recently noticing, that while playing streaming music (livexlive or pandora) on my Play5 (legacy) the sound will sometimes feel “flat” - like it is playing on a small, low quality speaker. If I nudge the volume up a bit - the bass and fullness kick back in - at first I thought maybe I was playing too low of volume - but I can move the volume back down a bit and it stays.  For a while.  After a few minutes, I lose the bass again - in the middle of a song - (literally JUST happened while I was typing this sentence!). Pausing and restarting, doesn’t ‘seem to help - but tweaking the volume up and then down again, brings back my fullness of sound.I am NOT playing music loudly - my volume “dot” is less than a quarter of the way across the bar.  Anyone run into something like this - is there a fix? 

My Symfonisk bookshelf speaker sound constantly breaks up, it’s never been great since I bought it along with the beam and lamp speakers.It’s in a room with a good Wi-Fi signal, when I run a speed test from the room it’s over 470Mbps and there’s nothing else being used in the room to interfere with it.I’ve gone into the Sonos app and submitted diagnostics so hopefully someone can help with this issue.

I have a LG TV connected to a Sonos Beam via the HDMI-ARC port.When I first turn on my TV or when no sound is on the TV for a while, normally due to the screen saver coming on, the Beam is reporting no connection to the TV and the volume is set to zero when I look at the Beam via the app.I have to press the volume up button every time for the Beam to re-connect to the TV and sound to be heard again.How can I get it that the Beam keeps its connection and volume level even when the TV is off or the screen saver has kicked in ?

My wife has a Costco Kirkland signature 7.0 hearing aid.  We recently bought a Beam 2nd gen sound bar from Costco.  Older hearing aids like the 7 can have Bluetooth added on for a minimal expense, although the user has to wear an external dongle (which is definitely not ideal).Costco has newer models that have Bluetooth included, and her current aid works great except it doesn’t have Bluetooth, and there’s not much benefit to switch if the Beam doesn’t help her.Does the Beam 2nd gen have any Bluetooth support or support for hearing aids in general?

I have heard a rumour that Sonos are going to release the above in the near future. Does anyone know if it's true?If so will it be able to play Dolby Atmos content through the headphones?It's a shame that I can't use my current headphones (Sony MDR-7506 Professional) as there's nowhere to plug them in and they do offer great sound quality!I sometimes like to listen to music or watch a movie late in the evening and I can't unless I turn the volume right down as I have neighbours both sides with kids and I don't want to fall out with the neighbours lol

Hello,I just bought the project T1 SB with Sonos Port. And my sonos setup is:  Sonos Beam  2x Sonos One   1x Sub I know the sub wont work with the Sonos Port, but I really want beam and 2x one to be working. But when I play a vinyl, I only hear sound from the beam and 1x Sonos instead of beam and 2x sonos one. Does the Port not work with 1x Beam and 2x Sonos One? Thanks

Hi,I’ve read a number of posts here and pages on the Sonos site but I would love help confirming I’m understanding all of this.  I currently have two Play 1 speakers. If I buy a turntable with a phono preamp built in, and a Sonos Port, I should be able to use those to play vinyl through my current Play 1 speakers, correct? Do I need any other hardware, besides cabling, to make that work?

I have a new MacBook Air. Sonos is set up to feed from my NAS Drive, plus also my music so that I get my iTunes playlists as well. Issue I have is that when I ask the controller to play an album or playlist it will only play for about 10 mins and then simply stops. I have tried to adjust sleep savings but no joy. Anyone got any ideas as to why this happens/how to solve. I tried calling Sonos but they had no idea. Thanks.

This is not the first time this has happened.  I go to turn on my music, and POOF only one speaker (of 6) is found.  So I go to add the others and now I have to sign in.  IRRITATING!  So I do this.  Then I am prompted to upgrade.  I do this which takes 5 minutes.  Then I go to add my existing speakers AGAIN.  and it can only fine ONE of them no matter where I stand.  I am furious!

Just got a BOOST and the setup fails every time stating that it failed to link to my account. I have tried hardwiring an existing Play1 to my router before setup, rebooted my router, reset the BOOST, and I still get the same error.  Any other suggestions?

I have in my collection a FIVE & One speaker. I decided it would be nice to upgrade my aging sound bar for a Sonos beam with the view for surround sound. Well i am right in thinking because since have the Beam the other 2 speakers will not connect because they are the not the same model. A little disappointed to say the least that i was unaware of this prior to purchase. My understanding was that all Sonos product's were compatible. 

Hi,I’ve got a QNAP TVS-671 where I have one folder which holds my audiobooks and music in 4 sub folders. I link those 4 folders using the Sonos controller app from my laptop. The laptop is connected to the network with an ethernet cable. There are a bunch of Sonos Play 1 and a Sonos Playbar in the network.So under “Music Library” → Folders  I see 4 folders one of them is “music”.One day I see that in the music library the music folder has no entries and “No selections are available” is shown. As I had this issue I called support and they asked me to use a different folder and so I created a new one and moved all my files step by step over to a new folder. It took me 3 days to go through all the indexing and finally I had it working. Then I made some changes to a few files, about 30 of them and in the next morning I see that the whole index is gone. “No selections are available” was again shown in the music folder of the music library - no errors in the controller (Help → Errors Log) -

I’ve had my Move for several years, no problems. In the past 4 months or so, constant issues - Sonos doesn’t see the Move, or the Move is there but won’t play, very intermittent. What’s frustrating is it doesn’t show the Move at all, but then when I power it off, it shows Sonos Move Offline… so it knows it’s a device and connected, but won’t appear for playback when powered on. Any suggestions on what to do when it’s not in the list of devices, or how to fix permanently?

I was gifted a hand me down Sonos Connect and I am attempting to setup the device with my account.After factory resetting the Sonos Connect, I am unable to add the device to my account.I press the play/pause button as I connect the power cord and wait 15 seconds until the lights begin flashing white and orange, but the lights never begin flashing green in order to show the reboot is complete.In addition, if I attempt to add the Sonos Connect to my account while the lights are flashing orange/white I can never get past pressing the play/pause button to connect the device.Really appreciate any help on this.

Hi Everyone,I have a Sonos Move product that I often move around off the charging base. I’ve found that if I take it off a charger, stop playing media for 45min to an hour, maybe more, when I go back into the app on my phone OR attempt to play music through the Sonos app on my computer, the app will show the music being played but the device doesn’t play. Further, full comms seem to be there with the Sonos unit as I can view the device battery, make changes, etc. I reached out through social and was connected to Sonos’ external marketing team, then my message was passed to someone in Product, but I have not heard anything further. I’ve uploaded a quick video I was going to share with the product team, but never heard back. Hi I am newbie to sonos family. I have a lg oled tv. And i have recently purchase -sonos arc for lcrsonos subsonos amp with two klipsch ceiling speakers 1. Can i setup my ceiling speakers as surround to be used with TV? how to do this? Will there be a lag in surround speakers if it is connected to arc wirelessly? if i play music in my living room, will arc and sub and speakers play together and work perfectly? Or by setting them as surround i cant enjoy the music? someone mentioned to me sonos sub isnt compatible with ceiling speakers even if connected via sonos amp. Whats the practical implication of this if this is correct? If i am okay always playing arc and sub and amp together, am i really losing out on something?thanks a lot  

The Visio TV is located in my backyard bar area.  I have many Sonos speakers throughout my home so wanted to buy the Ray to couple with this TV and also join my Sonos family of speakers extending the music to the outdoor bar. I have been unable to get the TV audio to play through the Ray so seeking some community input. It’s an inexpensive and older TV but it does offer optical out. There are only a few settings on the TV to alter the audio output but I haven’t been able to find the combination to make this happen. I am using an Apple TV 4K gen 1 as my only source to the TV. I have not yet tried a different optical cable so a bad cable, which came with the Ray, is a possibility.  Here are the TV and Apple TV setup options that may/may not be in play for this:Vizio D43-D2 TV Settings TV speakers on/off - I set to offDigital Audio Out - PCM or Bitstream. Hi, I have a Sonos Arc which has been situated above an ethanol fireplace (i.e. not as much heat as regular or gas fire) and I’m curious to know please:1 - heat tolerance of Sonos Arc? Are there any guidelines? 2 - from the picture, does this seem like an appropriate distance?3 - are there any solutions you can suggest if necessary? Thanks  

I have a whole home Sonos system including two mobile players:  One Move and one Roam.  I use Sonos’s own charging bases to charge both of them. The Move seems to recharge relatively quickly but the Roam seems to take FOREVER to recharge while it’s on its base.  Case in point: Today I put the Roam on its charging base when it was reporting a battery level of 23%.  Two and a half hours later it is reporting 70% battery level.  Is this working as intended? (The charger is plugged directly into a mains outlet using the Sonos supplied adapter).

I have a TV that has only a digital output for audio (other than the speakers on the TV).  I’d like to use a Bluetooth adapter in that digital output to connect to my Sonos Move speaker.  I’ve read that connecting Sonos to a TV via Bluetooth is not possible, but wondering if anyone has suggestions.

I just replaced Google Next Mesh with Eero 6+ mesh. All Wi-Fi devices work except Sonos. Well, Sonos only recognizes one speaker (One SL). I have seven speakers. The system was working fine until I switched. My controller is S2.One of the speakers is old. It is on S1. Again, no problems until switch.

Hello everyone,I have an Arc, two SL and a Sub. I can play Atmos without problems, or at least in the Sonos App it says so. The problem is that I can't appreciate the sound or Atmos effect.I have Arc placed in front of the TV and there is nothing above it. The volume of the height speakers is at maximum. I play movies with the AppleTV App and the Sonos App shows that it is playing Dolby Atmos. But nothing, I don't appreciate gunshots, rain, or helicopters above my head :)What am I doing wrong? Is Atmos with Arc really appreciated?I would appreciate any suggestion.Greetings. Apologies for the English used in this post ;) I have used Google Translate.

Hi all and happy Saturday!  We just bought a Fire Cube so that we could upgrade our Fire Stick with an ethernet connection (a lot of latency and issues streaming).  We had a Fire Stick and just set up the Cube, porting over settings from Fire Stick and using same HDMI port.  When trying to connect our Sonos Beam, it sees it but we can’t get the sound to work.  We have an older TV (Sharp Aquos from, like, the stone ages … 2011-ish).  Any ideas?  We’ve tried all the suggestions on the Sonos, Amazon and Reddit but haven’t seemed to find the solution.  Thank you!
