S1 set up seperate to S2 for music only

I have the gen3 sub and the Arc set up on S2 for theatre. Sounds great! 
 

how hard is it to set up a separate setup on S1 to run all my older non compatible speakers for music only?

Not that hard. Just power down all your S2 devices while you set up the S1 equipment. Once you have your S1 system set up and working, go ahead and plug back in your S2 equipment, and you’ll be able to use both controllers on the same device, to control each system separately.

By the way, the only S1 device, possibly, that you listed, would be a first generation PLAY:5. All the rest of those speakers will run S2. And if you have a second generation PLAY:5, it will run S2 as well.
