Is the hdmi cable provided with the arc is getting the best possible performance for sound??
Yes.
The HDMI cable supplied with the Arc is fit for purpose.
It can carry Dolby TrueHD audio, therefore there is no sound performance lo be gained by replacing the cable with a more expensive one.
