I can’t install the sub mini. The app says he can’t find it. I tried to reconnect power, pushed the button, light is white, blinking or red, blinking. Nothing works. What am I doing wrong?

What is the purpose of the Ethernet port on the arc soundbar and the sub? Currently I have the arc connected via WiFi but I am wondering if Ethernet would be better.  Router is located on the TV console about 18 inches behind the soundbar. Wi-Fi connection shouldn’t be a problem. I do understand that my sub and era300’s connect via WiFi to the arc. 

Hi all … I currently have Playbase and 2 Play 1… I’ve never really found this a satisfying set up to replace my old wired 5.1 system.  I enjoy music, streaming videos, live terrestrial tv and good old fashioned dvd/blu-rays.  I am pondering on replacing the Playbase with a Beam 2 or Arc or just abandoning Sonos all together. Would the Beam with my 2 Play ones give me the immersive sound I’m missing? Does it do that on all sources, just streaming services, just blu-ray etc?  thanks! 

tl;dr - are you able to play from Amazon Music Unlimited to Sonos via connected devices or only via AirPlay or Bluetooth?I just treated myself to a pair of Era 100s (paired as stereo “Office”) and down the rabbit hole of hi-res audio streaming services, starting with Amazon Music Unlimited (Individual Plan).I prefer to browse and play through the streaming app, especially with Amazon’s additional labels (Atmos, HD, Ultra HD, etc.). I’m unable to play from the Amazon Music app to Sonos.I’m able to do this on Spotify. I’d stream through “another device on this network” (instead of “AirPlay or Bluetooth”) without any issue:When I try to do that through Amazon, it connects to Office but won’t go beyond this screen and music won’t play:After that, if I try to play Amazon through the Sonos App, I get a notification about device limits: So, I can play from Spotify to Sonos via network devices, but unable to from Amazon to Sonos via network. Can I lay my sub mini on its side?

We have a Samsung QLED 75 tv a Sonos Arc, 2 1SLs, sub and 2 Roam. The issue is that the sound skips about every 20-30 seconds and occasionally cuts out for about 2 seconds.  We did the complete unplug of everything about 5 days ago. Had to go back through the tuning steps and thought we had it resolved. It started again today.  Don’t want to have to go through this every 5-6 days. Not a super tech savvy guy but can follow instructions.  Thanks for any advice. 

I have a Sonos Connect:Amp that has been working great until recently. I have read through several similar posts in here and performed some troubleshooting, perhaps the most helpful to highlight is after reconnecting the amp to the app, the light is white. I have no speakers plugged into the amp and I attempt to play music to the amp and it immediately begins to flash white/amber. Any suggestions?

I’m attempting to repair my Play 5 Gen one and found the Mosfet TSC08N70 is dead, I cannot find it online to purchase or a .pdf for its specification to obtain a replacement or equivelent.  Dose anyone have and equivalent part number or a pdf or where I can obtain one.Am I correct in thinking that its a 7 Amp 700v Mosfet?RegardsDavid..

I am buying a WiiM DAC streamer , it has SPDIF and Coaxial outputs but Plybar only has Optical Input. Can I connect the SpDIF Out directly into the Optical input of my Playbar? If no means I Need a CONVERTER? 

I have 11 Sonos speakers around the house, all play flawlessly except for the 4 speakers making the home theatre setup (playbar, sub1, two 3s). The theatre setup plays perfectly while viewing the TV, the problem occurs when I listen to either radio or streaming music to the room. While doing this the music will cutout from a few seconds to about 30sec before continuing. If the home theatre setup is grouped to other rooms all speakers work fine except for the ones making up the home theatre setup. This is a new phenomenon to me. I think I’ve changed the Sonos channels, I’ve  rebooted all appropriate software in more ways then one, nothing seems to work. All home theatre speakers are not wired in and can’t be done. There is one Sonos 1 wired into router at main box. What bugs me is that when watching TV there is no issues, it’s only when listening to music or radio.Diagnostic reports during event is 312130465 or 1098444261Thanks for any help on this

Hi, I’ve looked around previous discussions and haven’t quite gotten confirmation on whether this is possible or not.(1) I have a Sonos Amp connected to two nice passive speakers next to my TV. I had previously just used these two for the TV, relying on the phantom front channel. It worked well, but I felt like the vocals might be too muddled.(2) Therefore, I got a Sonos Ray to see if I can use this as the center channel alongside the two passive speakers. This was an easy setup to add the Amp as the surrounds for the Ray, on the app. (So far, fwiw, it seems to work okay for the TV. The sound is different, but I can’t quite tell why yet, or if it’s better or worse — perhaps because it’s relying more on the center channel than the two passive speakers.)=My main question is: is there any way to get rid of the center channel during music playback? Currently, I just turn up the music volume to +8 for the two surrounds, in the app. It’s not a huge deal, but perhaps just my OCD would like it

System with a playbase (wired), two ones (wireless) as rear surround. Just bought a sub (wireless) to complete the set, however getting it to connect has been a struggle and now that it's connected I'm not getting any sound out. Diagnostics are here.... 1199550220

Hi all,I have my music library stored on a Synology NAS drive and it has been working without issue until recently - I may have made some changes to the S2 settings and screwed it up.At any rate, I have all my playlists, etc with Apple Music and am able to play all of the music via Apple Music from the source files that are stored on the NAS.In S2 I have all of the same playlists, etc. but for any and every song that I attempt to play S2 indicates that it cannot locate the file.For Apple Music my preferences are pointed to /Macintosh HD/Users/username/Music/Music_NAS/Media.For some reason on the S2 the Music Library is pointed to //Diskstation/Music. The location of the iTunes files are actually located in //Diskstation/Music/iTunes.The file structure for iTunes (Music) makes me crazy. I want to say that I set up iTunes to point locally for the playlists but have the files stored on a NAS for performance (maybe this was a suggestion by Synology).At any rate, any thoughts on how to get

I am considering purchasing Sonos speakers and considering a variety of approaches. The room is about 12 X 20 X 9. Our sitting area is about 8-10 feet from the TV. The TV is a 3 year old 55” Samsung, it has ARC HDMI output but not eARC. We have a new Xfinity cable box and good Internet connection.The TV is currently mounted above an enclosed gas fireplace, which has an 8” shelf on the top of it. The TV is mounted to the wall above the fireplace shelf on a swivel arm connected to the wall which lets me move it out to be flush with the outer edge of the fireplace shelf or all the way back to the wall taking up ~2” of the shelf.The swivel does not let me raise or lower the TV at this point.I like the idea of a Sonos Arc (and optionally 2 sonos one’s for rear speakers), but not sure if this will fit our setup.I see two choices were we to get a Sonos Arc: 1) raise the height of the TV so that the Arc can be on the shelf above the fireplace - either by adjusting the TV swivel arm (i.e. re-at

Last week I noticed that 8 of my Sonos devices were incompatible with the Sonos 1 app. Somehow the 8 devices were upgraded to 15.x. I have never installed the Sonos 2 app, so I don’t know how this could have happened.I looked through the community forum and saw that I would need to factory reset these devices, then install the S2 app and downgrade each device. I was able to downgrade all devices except for my two ZP100 devices. The S2 app does not list the ZP100s to downgrade, so now I’m stuck.Any advice on how to downgrade the ZonePlayers? I’m pulling out my hair with all theses steps to get my devices working once again.

I’ve tried to factory reset several times - doesn’t help.  1 - Tried resetting2 - Tried router reboot3 - Tried clearing DHCP lease 4 - Posting in forum to check if someone can help. FYI. I moved to new home and it’s a new router with same service provider and same wifi SSID & password. 

Hijust purchased a ray to use with my lg TV, the ray doesn’t need to be connected to any other devices. instructions to set up require a sonos 2 controller. i already have an extensive S1 system and ray isn’t compatible. tried to use the sonos 2 app but the s1 system prevents set up - at least with what I've tried so so far.any ideas please?

I have a turntable with built-in amp. It is connected to a Play5 and sounds fine. I am adding another Play5 and also have 5 Play1’s, 2 Beams and a Move in the house. Not that I will play all speakers for the turntable, but curious to know when do I need to consider adding an Amp or do I even need to if I just play records on the 2 Play5s and maybe the Beam (3 total speakers)?  Thanks!

Hello! I have 2 pieces of One SLs that I have connected to my Sonos Arc to create a surround sound. Although the setup went smooth and each One SL played seamless during the process, when I play any music/TV on surround, the One SLs simply don’t play. I wonder why. Could you please help? Thanks!!
