We have 2x Play 5s (Gen 1), a Play 3 and a Play 1. We want to add new gen speakers (a move and two Era 100s) but want to continue using the old ones as well.I understand we will have to set up a second Sonos group using S2 (I think) and that they will not be in sync. Do we need a separate controller for each or can the S1 and S2 apps coexist on the same controller (iPhone 14s in this case)? What else should I do or watch out for! Thanks to those who've gone before.

Hello guys,I have a set of era 100s with a sub mini and am planning to get Beam sound bar to improve the surrounding quality. However, I mainly use projector to watch movies and series. I wonder is it possible to group them a a whole and use the ear 100’s Bluetooth to connect the system where the rest speaker are receiving data through Wi-Fi connection. Or the Beam will become the master device for the group and there is no way to use the Bluetooth on ear 100? If that is the case, would you think the next gen Beam will come with Bluetooth combability? Thanks in advance!

Sent diagnostics # 173009449 When playing music with AirPlay through my Playbase, Gen 3 Subwoofer and 2 Play:1’s I get persistent drops of music and stutters.  All the other Sonos models play fine except for this one system/group.  Have a Gen 1 Beam plugged in to ethernet with wifi enabled with 2 Play:1’s and it’s just fine.  All other Sonos products use Wifi.

Pre-ordered the Roam for what I now realize may have been an excessive price of $230. Now I can’t get the thing to turn on. No matter where I plug in the wireless charger, I get no light. If I plug USBC directly, I get an orange charging light, but I’m still not able to power on after several hours of charging. Do I have any claim to warranty or am I out of luck? Thanks all.

Dear community members,I hope you are all doing well! I finally took the plunge, and purchased an ARC (being delivered this Sunday), as well as two ERA300’s. At home, I have two wifi networks, the first is a university network, eduroam with WPA2 enterprise, login goes through username and password, which from what I read here will be difficult.The second network, is for all the apartments in the complex specifically, also managed by the university, but a WPA2ac personal. I have a custom password to connect to this network, but do not have access to the router etc which is centrally managed. However, I do have an ethernet port in the apartment that connects to the same network. I’m very friendly with our IT team, so if any information on the set-up would be helpful, I can ask them! With the WPA2ac personal network I previously had very good experience, in the sense that our SmartTV is connected to it with no trouble whatsoever. I’ve just bought a Sonos 5, but I can’t seem to pair it to my Bluetooth turntable. When I press the Bluetooth search button at the back, it doesn’t chime and the light doesn’t flash blue, it only flashes red.

This has only started happening recently where I ask Alexa to play a certain radio station or stations from tune in and her prompt is “sorry I am having trouble playing the music “. I’ve updated Sonos and the app . I’ve reset my network setting . I’ve reset the speaker . I’ve updated  Amazon Alexa . Still not working . Not sure what else to do . 

Hi, I've got Sky Q and a Sonos beam with a 5 and its been working fine for ages, yesterday I bought a another 5 to pair up with the existing set up but now my satellite signal has disappeared. (I can still access Netflix & recordings, just not live TV) Looking online it looks like other people have had issues with SkyQ/Sonos.Has anyone else had issues and managed to solve them?

Hi, my question concerns hdmi arc and hdmi mhl ports. I have my beam connected through the hdmi arc port as specified and it works fine. I tried to add a Chromecast dongle type thing to the hdmi mhl port (as it was the only free hdmi available), and it stopped the arc port from working. Disconnecting from the mhl port lets the arc kick in again, and the beam works as expected. Any idea why mhl should override the arc hdmi input?thanks in advance.  

Every time I try to retune my Era 100 after moving it in the room I get a message “something went wrong. We are unable to custom tune your Era 100. Please try again.”I try but to no avail.Any suggestions?

I support tech for friends and over the years, have accumulated devices on my Sonos account that belong entirely to them in their houses. Now I need to move some players from my account to a new one that my friend will own. Other than a factory reset and re-adoption, is there a way to create a new account and move those devices over to it? I will have access to the new account - this is just a bit of bookkeeping and ownership.

For the past day, scrobbling on Sonos has been broken. No scrobbles have gone through & reconnecting has not helped. Is the service down?

I have 2 x sonos play 3 and neither of them will factory reset.  Both were working last week, both software updated last week.  But I changed wifi networks and neither would connect,  so I tried to factory reset both. They both flash amber but will not go any further in the process. I've tried many times and even left them unplugged for 24 hours but still no go! I see others have had this same issue,  but I don't see any resolutions 

I have been using a Roam through the Sonos 2 app with no issues. The Roam is controlled by either the iOS app on my Macbook or the android app on my phone. The two apps synced perfectly.Today I added a Move using the android app. The Move functions properly but I no longer see the Roam on my phone app and it is not displayed as a product that can be added. On the other hand, the MacBook app continues to show only the Roam without displaying the Move as a product to be added. If I add songs to a queue on either app, it does not appear on the other app. What have I done wrong?

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a sonos arc with sonos SL one and sub on black Friday sales. I have a question about sonos arc since it does not come with a remote. Apologies in advance if this has been answered as I just joined this community. So I am a bit of old school and find it inconvenient to use my phone (sonos app) to control music volume.so the question is if sonos Arc and Tv are connected via HDMI-ARC and i turn off the Tv, would the TV remote still work on sonos arc to control the volume while playing music via youtube music or spotify?Thanks in advance.

Some advice please. Apologies if this is a bit noobie but….I want to add some reasonable quality stereo audio to my living room. My main hi-fi is in another room and it is not feasible to set it up in the living room, due to space and wiring considerations.So I am looking at Sonos, probably a linked pair of Sonos Ones. I already have an Amazon Echo in the room. Given that I am wondering if the best choice is a pair of Sonos One SLs, controlled via Echo/Alexa, that is, is there any benefit in going for the Gen2 over a pair of SLs? My understanding is that the basic speaker is the same but the Gen2 has microphone and smart speaker capability which presumably I don't need. Is that right?I already have the IKEA-badged SONOS speaker (in a third room) which seems to play well with Alexa (I find the Sonos app a bit flaky). Mos of the audio will be live radio or streamed from my audio collection that lives on a connected NAS drive.Also - nice to have - how feasible is it to put the sound from

I currently have a playbar and 2 play ones set up to my tv in my living room. I will soon be fitting another tv in the kitchen and I would like a similar set up to my living room. I am going to connect both tvs via a hdmi so that they can both play the same program im sync with each other but I will also have a sly mini box set up to the kitchen tv so I can watch a different channel to the living room. The question I have is will o be able to set up a sonos system that will link to my speakers and playbar in the living room when both tvs are on the same channel but then be able to be a separate system when each tv is showing a different programme. 

Does the ‘full’ setting fot stereo sound also work for Youtube, TV, Playstation. Or does it only work for streaming music through the Sonos app?  I’d like a stereo sound at all times while my Sonos Ray is also playing. Is that possible? 

I have the following set up:LG TV eARC aktiv  pass through  audio output: Dolby Atmos Plus Apple TV 4K (gen. 1) audio output: auto, Dolby Atmos on Sonos Beam (gen. 2)According to Sonos App audio via Apple TV is only Multichannel 7.1 (or Dolby Digital 5.1), but not Dolby Atmos. What can I change to get Dolby Atmos via Apple TV (via TV I can see Dolby Atmos, but WebOS is awful!) 

i added an Era 100 to my system with 3 Play 1. How do i enable group audio to include the new Era 100?
