I recently took advantage of the upgrade offer. Do I need to return my old product to Sonos? The instructions were not clear on what to do w my old product.

No… you don’t have to send back your old product to Sonos. This just was required in the very early days of the upgrade program. 
You can still use your old device in future as you like to. 
Sonos just offers that you can send it back instead of using your trash can if it’s broken. 😉


If you do a Factory Reset on it before handing it over an older Sonos can be a nice gift.
