Hello!Bought an Era 300 yesterday and noticed that it (and my S1s) are all connected to my 2.4 band instead of 5ghz. I believe they are all 5ghz compatible. Does anybody know if I can force them onto the 5ghz?I have google nest hubs which are dual band 2.4 and 5. I only ask as I find a bit of a lag or pause when playing the next song with Amazon Music (I find their whole integration is pretty slow, especially compared to the excellent Deezer integration).Thanks,Craig

Good morning, I currently have 2 Sonos Ones connected to an ethernet network. I need to connect a wired mic 🎤 to give conferences. If I buy a Sono Amp and plug the microphone into the jack input. Will the sound from the microphone be broadcast on the Sonos One? 

Cant get my remote to work with sonos soundbar.

I have 7 Sonos speakers, a mixture of Play:3, Five, Era 300 and a Roam. I use Plex and play the majority of my music from that source. The problem I have is that when any of my speakers connect to a particular Unifi AP they are unable to connect to Plex and playback fails. If a speaker is part of the way through a queue when connected to one of my other Unifi APs and I force it to reconnect to the problematic AP then playback will fail on the next track. No other music services are affected and the same tracks played directly from my Sonos Library from a fileshare on my network play fine even when connected to the problem AP and this is the same share behind my Plex library. Network tests on the AP and the speaker(s) when connected to the AP show no problems i.e. name resolution is fine and connection to the gateway and internet are fine with no packet loss and no other wireless clients experience any connectivity issues. I have connected Beam to the HDMI provided and then to the HDMI e-arc on my Cinemax D2 projector when I go to app it is saying no arc detected why is this? Checked all connections and fine is beam not compatible?

Hi everybody,I bought my Sonos Era 100 6 months ago, and I was able to play music from my record player Project T1 Bt. For about a month, despite the connection being active between the 2 devices, the music has not been played.The Sonos speakers work perfectly with my Samsung TV, and the record player also plays music on my Jabra Elite Active headphones. So it seems like there's a problem between the speakers and the turntable. Anyone have the same problem? Thank you very much!

Hello. Do compression settings in the Sonos app matter for the Roam? It seems to be more geared for Sonos devices with line-in 

I have a simple setup with a Connect:amp, Sonos sub and two loudspeakers. Randomly the streamed music is cut out for 5 to 10 sec. The sound is not completely gone as you can hear low hz mumbling music. Most times the cut out is in the end of a song.The system is wired but the problem is the same in a wireless setup.Any suggestionsregards Niels

I am moving and I would like to use my old system with streaming.  I put it together in the 90s, mid-range stuff  —JVC receiver, CD, dual-cassette (it was the 90s), Sony turntable, Advent speakers…We have cassettes, but I’m not too concerned with that. And we’re not likely to use the receiver, except as an amp. We would like to listen to SiriusXM, which we use in our cars and I use on my phone. We have several hundred CDs and LPs. I like the speakers and would like to use them in our main room. I’m not familiar with going wireless, but people tell me Sonos is the way to go. Does that mean an amp and some kind of receiver on each speaker, to pick up the signal from the amp? 

Hi many topics I read about the 32 devices limitI have an installation with 45 and I have all in the same account but I created a 2Vlan with different ip adress to a zone where I inserted 15 devices, this way when I m at that zone I can only acess those 15  devices and when I move to the other zone I can only acess the remaining devices. Problem is that if I’m at zone 1 playing music at room 1 and I move to zone 2 when I get there I connect to the network with different ip and the sonos APP automatically show the devices on that subnet but still showing the device that was playing before even if I stop the music before I leave, the app erase all devices not available except the one that was selected and I always get a message from error with a red dot on this device saying is not available, so I go to device settings and there is an option I can select to not show this device when it is offline and I select this option but it doesn’t t work, I go back to test and keeps appearing always

How can I connect two play1’s and play at to get surround sound 

Trying to set up my account for the first time with a pair of ERA 100’s. I have a single incoming Spectrum service split into two SSID’s, one for a tenant and one for my home.The tenant has a Sonos accounts on his SSID, and I am trying to set up my new account on MY SSID, but it keeps defaulting to the tenants existing account.Is there a way to resolve this without getting a separate router as suggested by Sonos tech support as the only solution.

I connected both Era 100 speakers to the Arc sound bar and the sub as a home theater system but there is no sound coming from the Era 100 speakers. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

HelloI have a Sonos Arc, 2 One’s and a sub set up at home for all-round TV and music use. They are connected to an LG GX LED and Apple TV.I’ve had this set up now now for over a year but can’t for the life of me get to audio settings that I am happy with. Something always sounds off.  If I compare it to listening to the same audio on my Airpods Max, everything always seems perfect and in balance with those and that’s what I am trying to get with my Sonos set-up.Can anyone advise on how to find the optimal settings for my own set up? Note: I already run trueplay every few months.Thanks in advance

Hi, I’ve been unable for the last few days to login to my Sonos account in the Sonos 2 app. I receive an error that says “Let’s try that again Something went wrong. Make sure your mobile device is connected to the internet and try again.”I receive the same error when trying to do anything that would seem to require an internet connection: Connecting to music services, TruePlay, Network setting, etc. I’ve tried every troubleshooting tip I could find: restarting the app, deleting and reinstalling the app, rebooting my router, disconnecting things that may be causing interference.” And, yes, I’m definitely connected to the internet on my phone. I’m at a loss so any help is appreciated. can't get my ray device to link with my LG TV?

I have seen a number of posts on this that were older, but nothing recent. In the last 4 weeks Pandora is failing with an “access denied” error. NOTHING has changed on my end that I am aware of. To get it to work I have to go into the services options and reauthorize Pandora. EACH TIME I use Sonos.   I have tried zapping the app and recreating it but same problem. Any solutions of insights as to what changed recently?

Since a short time my Sonos connect 1, does not streaam correctly. It works with hickups. I changed the networkcable and assigned a unique IP adress, but it stays the same. Could I reset the device to solve this problem, or is the device broken?

I now have four speakers in a room- two 100’s and two Ones. Sound is outstanding but with one major probl em. I listen to a lot of classical music, and on some orchestral recordings I get really bad distortion in in the mid-to-upper frequencies (strings). It doesn’t happen with solo piano recordings or older rock and jazz. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

cannot add sonos roam as goggle assistant tried reset tried reinstalling the app nothing works

HiMy setup: SONOS Amp using standing speakers.I think an old “issue” is back. Is found this old post “Volume increments of 5 after iOS update”, and I currently experience to same thing.Well, kinda.I’ve been away for 4 weeks (so not sure what my iOS version was at that time), and coming back running iOS 17.2.1 on both my iPad and iPhone I see the following weird volume increments: 0, 6, 13, 19, 25, ...Both in the Music and SONOS app.Anybody else seeing this behaviour?Using my wife’s iPad (still on 17.1.2), I notice the same...In short, the increments became unusable.Any ideas?PS: I tested playing music on my SONOS Arc and SONOS Roam, and they have the same behaviour. 

Hi,I have a Sonos Move and would like at connect it to my record player. The record player has a 3.5 mm audio jack output. I’ve purchased a 3.5 mm to USB connector and I can’t get it play through the move unit. Does it have capability to do this or is that only  possible with Move 2?

Hello, I’ve got 2 SONOS Play 1’s. I’ve had them in stereo pairing mode for about 4 or so years now. The right speaker no longer plays music in pairing mode. When I unpair them, the both of them work just fine separately. However, as soon as I pair them back into stereo mode, the right speaker stops working.  When enabling/disabling the LED for the both of them in the SONOS controller, I can see that they’re both synchronised. Both devices have a static IP address. I’ve tried rebooting the router, but to no avail. Diagnostics number: 825482722Any ideas?

Hi,I have a Sonos Connect connected to a Yamaha A-S501 amp, I also have a Sonos 5 series 1, the system is 5-7 years oldI orginally had Cabasse indoor speakers and Niles outdoor speakers, a few years ago the tweeter on one of the Cabasse speakers failed, I assume too much power so I upgraded to Klipsch speakers and more recently one of the woofers failed in the Niles. I have since purchased Sonance outdoor speakersWith volume control on both the AMP and the phone app is there a way to control the system so I don’t get too much power going through the speakers? I don’t want to blow up any more TIANigel 

Has anyone had any luck using the Ray with a TCL TV remote?  I have a TCL android TV which uses a RC901V FAR1 remote, I’m pretty sure it uses IR as I can see the light using a mobile camera and if I cover the end, the TV does not respond.  I can’t get the remote set up with the Ray however, running through the wizard it does not detect.  I have tried many times, sometimes close, others farther away and on the odd occasion it seems to detect something as it asks to press volume up three times (I presume to train).  It never completes and most of the time does not detect anything at all.  I have looked through TV settings and Ray settings but can’t find anything that might help.  Have also changed batteries and made sure light levels are low but nothing.  Anyone had same or similar experience?
