Hello,When I add a Sonos radio with the audio stream url, I regularly have advertisements which are added by Sonos when the audio stream starts.Is it possible to remove them?Thanks in advance.Johan

I connected two Play 3 speakers to an existing Sonos Amp system, all are S2. The speakers were purchased together, one updated fine, the other did not and will not.  Things I have tried based on similar problems found in the community:-Connect the speaker via ethernet cable-Connect the speaker directly to the router-Reboot the router-Factory reset the speaker-Disconnect the working Play 3, factory reset again, try adding again (same error)All are on the same network.  Diagnostics 832690832Edit:  I have also used a static address and using DNS of 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8Thank you

Hello everyone! I need your help since im not really sure if Sonos would let me pair a bluetooth headset with multiple devices. Here is my situation:I want to connect 2 Sonos devices via a bluetooth headset (or a microfone but a headset is preferred) so i can transmit my voice for events etc. I also want to display music for the background whenever nothings is being said.I figured out that these devices would allow me to to connect multiple Sonos devices together and then display audio via bluetooth: Era 100 Era 300 Move 2 Roam Roam SLbut i still havent seen any information about pairing a e.g headset or anything similar. How would i even be able to select the sonos devices with the headset …? You see im very new to this stuff so i just hope someone might be able to help me here. If u have any further questions pls feel free to ask them^^.  Thank you all for your time!   

A Sonos radio favourite, listed in the search results, does not show up in the list of Favourites (on the app).Other stations are okay. Only this Sonos radio station is missing.Unusually, in the Search result the Sonos station had a full page with a description and also alarge button to make it a favorite. If this helps.

Why do updates keep failing?I use an Apple MBP, M2 chip, currently running Sonoma 14. For the last three or four updates, they have failed. I have had to delete, reinstall and rebuild the index. This is not an acceptable way to keep the software up to date. Other vendors can provide smooth app updates, why can’t Sonos? What makes it worse is I am forced into taking the update. Even if I click to say leave it until later, I’m forced back into a dialogue box that keeps appearing until I click on Update, only to see it fail again.When is this going to be fixed. Or should I think about upgrading to different hardware? Even the drop down below asking for tags won’t scroll. Sonos clearly don’t invest much in software design!

Hi, Hope you are all well, I have a Beam Gen 1, Sub Gen3 and 2 Play 1 Setup for my home theatre. I have a LG TV that does not support DTS as well.My Question is if I play a 4k Disk that is Dolby Atmos will the Beam automatically downgrade to Dolby Digital, I believe it does but just want to confirm I did test with the Dune 4k release and surround, sub base and everyone seem to be outputting as 5.1 (confirmed in the app and with my ears). Thanks,

Trying to get my Sonos Ray to work with my new LG OLED42C34LA with Magic Remote. I can get sound to come out of the soundbar but when I try to adjust the volume with the Magic Remote, I get an icon of a speaker with a line through it.I’ve tried setting up the Magic Remote with the Sonos app, but it doesn’t recognise it.None of the guidance on this forum seems to fit with the operating system for this model.Any suggestions?

is there any way to specify where SVC will look for stations when the command is “PLAY xxx”?there are two local radio stations, both in Sonos Radio, both added to my favorites and Sonos favorites.KBCO KBCO Studio Cfor the life of me I cant get SVC to play the top one. various wording will bring up all kinds of crazy channels from around the world.my goal is to have SVC cycle through a short list of preferred (sonos) radio channels.thanks

I have read a couple of hours worth of info on ways to keep the Era 300 from disconnecting from Wi-Fi.  I bought it less than a week ago.  First 2-3 days I had no trouble.  Now all I have i do is connect, play music. Reconnect next time I want to play more music, and it’s a never ending circle.  I bought Sonos because I heard it was easiest to set up and easy to manage.  Yikes.  I have factory reset, factory reset while switching off my private Wi-Fi address.  I haven’t figured out how to put all speakers on the same channel.  Sonos recommends 1,6 and 11.  Don’t know what that means or how to do it.  It’s like reading Chinese to me.  Has anyone tried that, and does it work?

Hi all, just purchased a Roam. Set it up, but no sound coming from speaker, graphic on phone shows it playing. Also the setting for grouping non Sonos devices under the AirPlay tab does not allow the slider to change the setting to on, any help would be great. Thank you

TLDR: A new Move 2 that I believe is properly configured on the same Alexa account as all my other Sonos and Alexa devices is not appearing as an Alexa-Enabled device in the Alexa app. I am trying to add the Move 2 to an Alexa ‘group’ so that I can say “turn on the lights” and it will know where it is but can’t the device doesn’t show up. Details:I have an environment with many Sonos devices, several of which are Alexa-enabled (Moves, Ones, Roam and the new Move 2). All are properly configured and work perfectly in the Sonos app. All work properly with Alexa. On this new Move 2, I have Alexa enabled and it works perfectly.I have added the Move 2 as a “speaker” to the group, “Office.” When I say, “Alexa, play music in the Office,” it works. I have other smart devices in the group “Office” and would like to control them with this Move 2 by saying “Alexa, turn on the lights.” To do that, I need to edit the group and add the Move 2 as an Alexa-enabled device. I have an onkyo tx-rz830 and a connect. Trying to set the volume to pass through and it doesn’t control the onkyo volume / it acts as fixed on the preset level through the speakers.  how do I set up the s1 app to control the onkyo volume? Is it the turn on volume? Preset volume?  thanks 

I live in Norway, I would like Norwegian local radio channels, Norwegian seasonal music. The only positive thing about it is that the commercials are in a language I don’t understand.A wild guess would be that it’s because my internet provider is Starlink, and their satellite based system places the IP in Germany instead of Norway. Is there a solution for this? That does not involve me having to use VPN to Norway whilst being in Norway?

I have 2 sonos era 100 speakers.  I'm looking to have them both paired via bluetooth to my windows 11 pro Dell computer.  I have successfully connected one but how do I connect the other as well to operate in stereo (2 channel). Brian 

Hi All,I read all the posts here including “can’t connect again” and none of them are identical to my question or issue.  My pair of One SLs work fine in connection with my Play 1 and Sub, until …I turn my TV off (the two SL units always stay turned on as they are on separate electrical outlets/circuits in different parts of the room Whenever the TV is turned back on for any watching, the Playbar and Sub connect just fine but the One SLs never reconnect.  Never. The only way to resolve this is for me to completely unplug all devices, let the TV sit one minute without electrical power to it, the turn on the TV then the two One SL units right after.  A few minutes later all is synced up and works fine.One might argue that this is an IP address issue or network issue but it’s not.  It’s consistent every time.  I can sync up all the units just fine if all are unplugged and plugged back in.  But once the TV alone is turned off (only the TV), when it’s turned back on the One SLs will not res

I am thinking of upgrading to the ERA 300 and would like to use it while traveling. My questions are if the bluetooth works well rather than buying a portable bluetooth speaker and, would there be any issues with using it while traveling and then coming home to where it has been set up?Thanks,Alan

I have a Samsung UN60TU690TF. When I connect the optical cord and change the setting on the tv to optical it is not working. I have tried multiple times to do this and when I try to connect to tv on the Sonos app it continues to load/buffer until it tells me it is unable to connect. I have changed the default audio output to PCM and it is still not working. I’m looking for any advice on how I can connect my Ray to my tv. 

Hello,I am not getting Dolby Atmos if I play shows or movies through Apple tv 4k(I am only getting dolby digital 5.1). If I play them via TV app(like netflix or hbo max)it works just fine. Sonos app show atmos. Where could be the problem(also in apple tv i cannot select atmos anywhere) and i am running tvos 17.2. Tv model is Samsung q60c

I want to add a second pair of hard wired speakers to my amp. I understand they will be on the same channel. Can I hook up a volume control for one of the pair? 

I have the older generation Sonos speakers which run S!.  I am curious what you get with S2 that I don’t get with S1?  Also, is there a way to upgrade the components in me speakers to use S2 or must all new equipment be purchased.

My TV is connected to a Soundbase and Subwoofer. If I pair ANY of my other Sonos speakers I get crackling and dropouts in the added speakers. Am I doing something that is not supported by Sonos?

Hello… Let’s say I’m done using Roam for a period of time but I now want to charge it for my next use.  When I power off the Roam, walk it to the charging cable (OEM supplied cable), and plug it in, it powers itself back on and I have to wait for the powering up to complete before I can turn it off again.Just because I’m plugging it in to charge it doesn’t mean I want the device to power on.Questions:Why is this the normal/default behavior of the device and/or what benefit am I overlooking by this behavior? Is there a way to prevent this?Thank you.

Hi all.  I got my first Sonos speakers, am hooked and want to expand. I got a Beam Gen 2 and a pair of Era 100s. I’m looking to add more for my large house, and my engineering brain craves more knowledge on how this system works.My questions boils down to this: I’ve read that when adding a sub to your setup, Sonos will automatically apply a low-pass filter to the sub and high-pass to the other speakers, thus unburdening them from having to handle low frequencies.  Thats cool.  My question is, does Sonos only do that when adding a sub to a group, or do they also do that for other speaker combinations. For example, if I add a new five to my existing Era100s pair, would Sonos apply some filter to optimize for that combination to account for what I imagine is better bass capability of the five vs. the Era100s?  The answer may help me think about how I grow my system either incrementally or with bigger upgrades. If adding a single five to my Era100’s pair wouldnt be ideal, I’d just wait to

My SONOS amp is not seeing new folders added to the Music Library. I have re-indexed.  The Music Library is hosted on a Window 10 PC.  I have confirmed that I can see new directories from a second PC.Any thoughts on what would be causing this issue or on how to fix it?
