Hi,Can anyone advise whether it’s possible to use a pair of Playbases  as a “conventional” Sonos stereo pair?Im asking as this would be the ideal solution for sound in my kitchen. The only real space I have is on top of tall units and a gap of about 4 inches - which a Playbase will fit into. I can easily get power to them and also an Ethernet cable, so the optical input won’t be used. The only real issue I have is how I’d configure them, ideally as a stereo pair, if that’s even possible. Any comments welcomed. Thanks - Rob

I am currently using Beam + 2x Sonos One + Sub with my TV.My computer desk is located behind my couch, so my 2x Sonos One are actually placed where one typically would locate PC speakers.If I were to upgrade my 2x Sonos One to 2x Era 100, would it be possible to switch between PC and TV?I have from the information online found out that this could be tricky.

Hi,we are facing this particular situation now for some months.We get a considerable amount of “unable to add tracks to the queue” kind of messages or the Sonos S1 app that just doesn’t want to play any songs. Immediately after this happens, I go to Spotify, play the very same song and select the same Sonos speakers. The song is directly played through the selected Sonos speakers in their respective rooms. Can anyone explain to me why the Sonos app can not play songs from its own environment and Spotify can? What are the possible reasons for this behavior and what are the solutions?Apparently it is not a network issue as via Spotify the Sonos speakers work instantly and stable. Thanks!

I had an 8 hour power outage night before last. When the power came back on my Sonos setup was scrammbled. Anyway, I was able it get it back accept for one A300. It connects to router (I can see the mac on the router) and the Sonos app, but the A300 refuses to register. So I cannot use it. I checked my Sonos account online and the device’s mac/serial number is registered. Things I have tried to get the A300 to register wth Sonos:turn A300 off and on moved A300 2 feet from router turn Orbi 960 mesh router off and on tried factory reset on A300Nothing worked. I do not know what to do. I hope the A300 is not damaged. It use to work great.My system:Arc, Gen 3 sub, and 2 A300s, Router is a Netgear Obri 960 (no satellite).  connect to SSID with combo 2.4 and 5 GHz, no 6GHz) ISP is Xfinity/ComcastThanks.

Everytime I turn on my TV I get the following popup message “Audio device connected via HDMI-eARC. The screen may flicker as the audio settings are changed.”I think this only happens with Sonos Soundbars when connected with eARC. I suppose it is because the soundbar HDMI-port gets in some sort of sleep mode when TV is off. Is it possible to fix this so we don’t get this message everytime?As a note I also want to add that sporadically I get disconnects during this handshake. I get following messages:Audio device connected via HDMI-eARC… Audio device disconnected from HDMI-eARC… Audio device connected via HDMI-eARC…This causes the HDMI port to flash number of times each time I turn on the TV.I think this should be low hanging fruit for Sonos to fix for Samsung TV users.When using HDMI-ARC (no eARC) I get no popups whatsoever. This only applies for eARC.For reference I have a Samsung Q90R from 2019.Hope anyone from Sonos can help!

I am upgrading my TV to ATMOS (LGC3) and need to be sure of compatibility. The retailer have suggested I bring my Sonos to store to check with their demo TV. Will I be able to this on a different TV ?

From 1 month ago, when i ask to my sonos (google assistant):“Can you put the radio franceinfo” , it take the swindon 105.5 US radio on tunein, not the french national radio.I have added france info to my favourites, but without succes.Can you fix it pls ?Thanks

I have an existing set up of play:1,3, and one and symfonik. I got the symfonik so that I could use airplay with it and through the symfonik stream to the other Sonos throughout the house.  now I have a xgimi home projector that supports sound through Bluetooth. What is the best way to stream to these other Sonos devices?

I have Sonos Move speakers (connected to sonos app), Samsung UE665 Series 8 TV, Amazon Alexa, Smartthings app, Vizio soundbar connected to optical on tv.  I’ve read other threads but end up going down the rabbit hole.  So I’m asking for my specific scenario. 1. Can Alexa control the Sonos speakers, like the volumn, turn on/off?2. How do I connect the Samsung TV to Sonos. Samsung doesn't have an app for sonos (at least mine doesn't)?I probably will have other follow up questions, but I'll start here.

I want to be able to keep Sono's roam powered on all the time while it's connected to a charger and while not connected via Bluetooth to any device because I am using this speaker as the main speaker for my MacBook laptop.When my laptop is connected via Bluetooth, it doesn’t get turned off automatically which is good.Whenever I had to go outside and come back Sonos automatically got powered off and I had to manually press the button to Powered on which is a bit annoying. I have already tried by disabling battery saving mode as well. Didn’t work.Additional Request: Can we have a way to powered the speaker from a cable rather than a battery while connected to a charger?

I have a fully paid Calm subscription. I have been using it with the usual issues that everyone reports, but now when I access Calm through Sonos, it says I don't have a subscription. This appears to have happened after finding out that I have to use a hard wired connection ONLY because my spectrum modem is not dual band, only 5. Any way to tell Sonos that I have a calm subscription?

My IKEA Floor lamp disconnected and won’t reconnect. I’ve tried restarting it and my router as well. The symfonisk speaker frame connects but the floor lamp won’t anymore. Seems frustrating because it worked just fine few weeks ago

2 of my play 3’s are showing a red light. What do I do?

my Sonos move is fading in and out. The light on top flashes between White, meaning it’s on Wi-Fi, and orange. I can’t find anything in the troubleshooting guide that tells me what this is about or how to correct it. At this point it is effectively unusable. If anyone has any insights how I could fix this, I would appreciate it.  I do have a video of it happening if anyone needs to see it

I have a technics SL-1200 MK2 connected to a phono box mm and then into my connect amp. The line level is set to 10, audio compression is set to uncompressed and the cables are tight. The volume is at least half of that of the volume coming out of the sonos when it is playing digital music from spotify. Any suggestions on options to raise the volume? The cartridge on the record player is pretty old craze d5200 sk. Not sure if that is contributing to volume issue. I appreciate any help. thanks. Josh

I use Sonos daily and today I discovered my Sonos Ray was not showing up in my system products.  I went through a factory ready and added the Ray again; however now it’s showing up as not registered.  When I click on this it’s reporting ‘Incompatible Software Versions’.   The system is currently set to auto update and is running version 15.11 build 76248062.  I also checked for a system update and found it was up to date.my iphone is running 17.2.1 and hasn’t been updated recently.  Nor has the sonos app on my phone.  My phone sonos app also  shows the same version and build. It was all working yesterday so I’m a bit confused on what to try next?

I tested out a new ISP and they changed my router gateway ip address. After I reset the router to my original ISP my Sonos speakers are not connecting to my system. I use a meshed Orbi RBR50 system, 2 satellites, and the speakers are not found sporadically. If i move all the speakers to my upper floor near the main router i can get them all to connect but when replacing them to their location they are either not founf or not connected again.

Hi, Mostly in the question, I am attempting to connect a Samsung ‘The Frame TV’ to the Sonos network and it isn’t anywhere near as simple as one would hope. I am trying to play it out of a Gen 2 Play:5 and a Roam SL. Has anyone successfully tried this?  I also have a Roam SL that we are using as a mini soundbar, does anyone know if I can connect this via bluetooth to the TV?  Seems a little crazy that there is all this tech and innovation yet connections are still as convoluted as cables! :D  Thanks in advance,I just want to enjoy the speakers!

The title is fairly self explanatory. The Sonos app has been an infuriating piece of software to use. Between trying every available voice assistant and being disappointed by all of them I settled on Amazon music for it Dolby Atmos collection.  The Amazon music app is also horrendous. More so than the Sonos app because instead of interfacing with the Sonos app properly and passing the information to my Arc, it casts it which strips the Dolby Atmos data and plays the songs in plain stereo. My work around has been to create Atmos playlists in Amazon music that I access through the Sonos app. The only downside to this has been that for some reason the Sonos app doesn't display the correct song playing. It displays the first song I choose from a playlist and keeps that band and title across all songs being played. 

All of my Sonos devices are S1.  I need to change my OS back to S1

I have tried disconnecting everything and re-pairing the speakers then adding the Sub and so far the same result, which is the right speaker stops producing sound. If I disconnect the sub the right speaker begins producing sound again. The Sub is working with the left speaker only.ThanksAlan

Hi folks,   I’ve recently purchased a new LG TV with eARC audio to my Sonos. That’s working fine. However, I’m half deaf and like to hook up my nice B&W headphones so I can hear the dialogue while the rest of the family listen to the Sonos. Unfortunately, the LG won’t allow me to do this. I’ve tried every conceivable setting and contacted LG. The main issue is the TV can’t walk and chew gum. When the eARC is active it trumps all other settings. There is no way to pair the headphones at the same time via the TV, or by using a Bluetooth transmitter. You can hook up the headphones and listen to the TV audio, sans Sonos, but to make that feature work I have to physically unplug the eARC to my Sonos. I have a great BT transmitter but the TV doesn’t output an optical signal when the eARC is plugged in. My 10 year old LG could do this but not the new one. LG have washed their hands of it and won’t recommend a third party solution. I’m hoping someone has had some luck with an eARC splitter

I have a Sonos Arc and Sonos Sub. I bought a pair of Sonos Era 300 for surround sound in my home theater. I can barely hear the Sonos Era 300 speakers when used as surround sound for watching TV. I played around with positioning speakers, adjusting speakers' settings, Sonos TruePlay tuning. Nothing changes the home viewing experience. What am I doing wrong or did I have unrealistic expectations?

How do I switch between music playback and the TV audio signal without using the Sonos s2 application? For example. I'm listening to music or it stays in "alexa mode" and I want to put the tv audio signal back on without using the app. thanks
