I have older generation connect running wired speakers to my patio and line in to my TV. Worked perfectly for 5 years or more. Within last year or so the sound starts to fade to barely a whisper no matter volume setting. Neither TV or speakers will work when this happens. I can unplug power to connect for few seconds and once the room is back online it will function perfectly for various amounts of tme before it fades again. I thought it might be connect going out so I bought replacement and that seemed to work but unfortunately that was short-lived. Have been on phone with customer support. We tried a few things but communication was difficult. I asked for elevation and was cut off while waiting.  Anyone with similar issue and possible solution?I also have another connect device with a similar configuration for another room and it still works.

will the subwoofer that is compatible with playbase work with Arc Soundbar

What is the difference between SONOS ONE SL (black) and the SONOS One SL Shadow Edition? Are they virtually identical except for the slight colour modification?

Why does my Sonos speaker (normal sized one - one I believe. ) no longer work when I play Spotify. As soon as adverts start it turns off all music and I cannot hear adverts or music. Also Spotify alarms no longer work I used to wake up daily to a playlist and no I just hear a horrible chime and get earache or it ignores all alarms set.The other issues I won’t go in eg. Connecting multiple speakers on sonos app. Ever since sonos 2 app came along it doesn’t work. Some speakers have to be one the s1 app (black icon) and some on the s2 app (gold icon). Can’t get on s2 app due to old speakers and new speakers.  Reported  via Spotify and Sonos and still no solution 18 months later

I have a Buffalo Linkshare 4TB drive.  Sonos V1 accepted the drive and loaded all the files into the music library with no issue.  When I try to set up Sonos V2 to access it for the music library, I get an error about 5-10 minutes into it that the drive is no longer available.    V1 has no issues indexing it, but V2 seems to throw this error.  Help, please!

As title says I have been using a FireStick 4k getting atmos from all streaming services just fine. I recently upgraded to the max and now sonos app only displays dolby digital plus 5.1. My tv identifies the stream as atmos going out to arc but sonos does not. This is an older non earc tv is the atmos signal sent differently (aka like appletv) over the 4k max vs the normal 4k stick?

haven't had my music library indexed on SONOS for a few years,  decided to get rid of iTunes match and download my catalogue onto a hard drive and run it from that.  I have loads of records that aren't on streaming platforms so wanted them available on my system. All music is download now on the hard drive, tested it and works, and I have added the hard drive to the Sonos controller no issue. However when I try and index the files it shows the wheel thinking about indexing then it disappears pretty much immediately.  The files are M4A files which are apprently supported, as per the SONOS website. Any ideas as to why nothing is appearing and the indexing doesn’t do anything?

What is the correct way to connect this system. Sonos ARC, era 100's, sub and just purchased the Sonos port to seemless connect my Denon AVR? As it stands the ARC is connected to the arc output on the Sony TV (has earc) The port is line out to line in on the AVR I don't have any wired speakers as of yet but the system will allow wireless because Denon makes a whole  line of wireless. Looking for my next move in hopes to have the AVR power and amplify the system? Thanks for the help hopefully it's right here in front of me and I'm having a brain fart.

Not all of my Spotify playlists are appearing in Sonos. Saw older inquiries and suggestions, such as deleting Spotify from my Sonos and reinstalling. This hasn’t helped.  please help 🎶

Hi,I've got an arc under the TV, and two IKEA Symfonisk connected as rear surround. Now I'd like to use my Connect:AMP to be seen as a Sub (click connect sub) in my S2 system, and use the amp to drive my passive subwoofer.Any idea if this is possible? I know that I can create two groups, one as I have it today and one with the connect:amp, and then group them together. But, that isn't really what I want as then I lose the option of Sonos sending the right frequence range to the Connect:amp (being a sub).

I’m using the Beam Gen 2 as a surround sound system with Sinfoniks. I’m considering adding a Roam to listen to the TV sound in another room using the group function. Is this possible?

i have a restaurant - here’s my set up:Six Samsung TVsSix Beam G2Comcast business modem/wifi one guest wifione private wifiSonos 2 app on ipad that has current OS and connected to private wifiNeed to use the sonos app for background music when the tv sound isn’t on, but the picture is - like on a soccer gamei have had no issue setting up the beams set up on wifi private on the first try, naming them, connecting back to tvs, grouping them.  however, going back onto the app - once it’s been closed  or ipad has gone to sleep, some or all cannot be found, the spotify app from sonos doesn’t see any or all etc. i have tried factory resetting all of them then connect the first one to ethernet in order to use sonosnet, except the sonos setup app won’t connect to set up that way. I have reset them all multiple times and they all get connected but don’t stay connected. So it must be my comcast modem with wifi built into it right? calling comcast didn’t help as they said they don’t help with this

Hi,I have a setup Projector Optoma ZK400 + Era 300 + PS5.There’s no TV or PC in the setup.PS5 cannot be connected to Era300.How can i play the sound of the PS5 in Era300?

I have a Sonos One SL connected to my Apple MacBook Pro via AirPlay. When I play audio from Pandora, Youtube, or Sirius the audio drops out for 1-2 seconds every 2-10 minutes.  Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips? Thanks!

HelloI've just bought the Move 2. Its fully set up amd working but I had planned to use this whilst travelling in locations I will not have any WiFi or mobile reception. I find Bluetooth connection unstable so wanted to connect my phone via line-in so the Move 2 plays my downloaded Spotify playlists. Is this possible? I've tested the set up by switching off my WiFi/mobile data and playing a downloaded playlist bit the audio only comes out my phone, not the sonos speaker. Any suggestions?

Can the ERA100’s be set up to MIRROR/extend the audio coming from the Ray sound bar?  We purchased the system (on advice from BestBuy) in order to have a sound source closer to the listening position.  (I’m attempting to keep the TV from having to be turned up so loud in order to be heard.)In surround mode, there is minimal sound (if any) for most TV shows.  As a stereo pair, I can’t seem to join them to Ray.

how to connect the Port to existing pre-amp and outboard separate DAC

I have a Sony PS-LX310BT turntable that I was using connecting via bluetooth to my old bose speakers. They worked really well - I recently bought Sonos ERA 300 and I am unable to pair them via bluetooth. I have the latest firmware update on sonos.I hear the chime on era 300 with blinking blue light then I click on bluetooth pairing button on lp player but nothing happens even after waiting for 5 mins. Similar process worked when I paired my bose speaker.Let me know if I am missing something? I understand that I can pair them using sonos line in adapter. My understanding is I can still use bluetooth connectivity without any additional adapter to pair my turntable.

Can somebody please advise on whether I can get Sonos/Spotify playing nicely with the Samsung Family Hub (runs on Samsung’s Tizen O/S I believe)? The Spotify App runs on Tizen on the fridge. It can see Amazon firesticks and Amazon speaker devices as things that it can play to (apart from being able to play on the fridge speaker itself). Whether I run the Google or Alexa voice assistants on the Sonos speakers I have, I cannot get it to see the Sonos speakers though. I have a Move and a One. From some desktop research, it looks like Samsung may only support the Sonos speakers through a Hub/Bridge, which is not possible to use as I’m on S2. Is there any way round this? My desired outcome is to be able to change the Spotify music on the fridge, outputting the music to the Sonos speakers (as a group - the two speakers are at different ends of a long room).

For the past few months, I’ve been able to start playing music using Google Voice commands on my Sonos One, however, I’m unable to stop playing music once it begins playing. I ask Google Assistant to stop playing and it replies, “Nothing is playing right now.” Funny enough, I can ask it what song is playing, and it will provide that information. I unlinked Spotify from my Sonos app and Google Assistant app. I also unlinked Sonos from the Google Home app. I then reset my Sonos One and configured everything from scratch, however, no luck. I submit diagnostics to Sonos, but they said they don’t see anything wrong. The only thing that works to stop playing music is ending the session from the Spotify app or the Sonos app. This is frustrating - just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

Hi Community,I'm currently planning my living room and would like to integrate my Sonos surround system. I own 1x Sonos Arc, 1x Sub (3rd Gen), and 2x Sonos Era 300.Due to limited space for my entertainment area, I'm wondering if I can place my Sonos Era 300s as shown in the following photos. My intention was to build a recess in the wall behind the couch so that the Era 300s can face outwards against the wall of the recess and reflect back to the couch. The recess should be about 50-60cm high. Thanks for advance for your inputs.

I’ve got a large music library on my PC, that I copied over to my QNAP NAS a few years ago but have never exploited or linked through to SONOS - I’ve really only used Spotify with SONOS.  .  It’s easy to manage my library on my PC (I use Mediamonkey), but never quite figured out my best options to manage it on my NAS. I use Plex (paid lifetime pass) on my NAS / PC / TV / Phone for my video media, and it’s great.  However it doesn’t seem so good for managing audio and I’m not convinced Plexamp is any better (despite the rave reviews).  I can’t import my playlists and Plex doesn’t recognise the ratings I’ve already added to all of my audio and that I use all the time on Mediamonkey, so my options to manage, listen to and filter music I want to listen to is limited.  The SONOS Music Library also doesn’t recognise ratings, so can’t filter there either, so suspect playlists might be the only way I’ve got of filtering my music, meaning I’ve got to be able to better manage it on the server.

Hello! For my modest sound system, I have a stereo pair of Sonos One SL. I’d like to make it able to work with Bluetooth in order to connect it easily to my computer or my Steam Deck. I heard one way of doing so would be to use another Sonos Bluetooth speaker like the Sonos Roam, but could not find any info about it online. Thus my precise questions are:Is it possible to group a Sonos Roam (or another not too expensive Bluetooth speaker) with a pair of Sonos One SL? Will this whole new sound system be able to receive Bluetooth signal? Will it impact the sound experience in a negative way? I’d still like the two Sonos One SL to act as a stereo pair.Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
