So we have a number of Sonos boxes; a couple of S2 Connect:Amps and Connects, play:1s and now a Beam & Mini Sub.Everything was pretty stable until the summer, when the amps started glitching.  Some days fine, sometimes all over the place.   I am not sure what suddenly made these unstable - a random software update on Sonos or the wifi router, or the amps getting too hot in the cupboard they are in.  (Could this make this happen?).  They sit next to each other on a shelf feeding remote ceiling speakers.The other boxes work fine.I have tried all sorts of things; moving wireless router away, restarting everything, resetting, wriing differently.We have a TP-Link X20 mesh router of 3 boxes (one of which is (was) near the amps.  The amps are wired to a Netgear unmanaged switch.  The amps are wired to the switch.    (I read that mesh networks could impact performance - but it all worked fine for about 2 years.)They do the same thing, whether using Sonosnet, or the wifi network, whether st

GreetingJust investigating SONOS for a new house build so I apologize if this is too simple.I would like to attach a Samsung (The Frame, 2023 version) TV to Sonos AMP Gen 2. I have three different listening scenariosTV on - tv sound going to speakers TV off- sound from Sonos streaming to speakers Tv on- sound from Sonos streaming to speakers (use the TV to view pictures) The first two seem pretty straightforward but for the third one, can I select what source is amplified (tv or streaming) via the APP or ?? The good news: Arc+Sub shows up in my Sonos app and I’m able to play music through it.The bad news: I’m not getting sound out of Arc/Sub or out of my TV.It was working before but something happened and the TV setting got out of whack. (Newbie questions here)I have two televisions and each will have a Premium Arc.  I will also have 2 sets of Era 100s in either the same rooms or different rooms.  I want to add a set of outdoor speaks for my yard. (None of this is yet set-up)My questions are this:(1) Do I need the amp for the outdoor speakers? (2) If I do need the amp, I presume it has got to be connected via wire to each outdoor speaker, right?(3) Do I need the amp for the Era 100s that are in the home?(4) Using the app, will I be able to control what is playing on each speaker (e.g., have them all in sync, or just have the Era 100s and outdoor speakers in sync, but Premium Arc separate)?  Thanks in advance!  

I have a Sony STR-AV880 A/V Receiver vintage 1990s or so. It doesn’t have a dedicated pre-amp out for audio but does have RCA out for a 3 channel (Red/White/Yellow) A/V cable. When I connect the Red/White (L/R) line out to line in on PORT, there is no sound. Was on the line with support and after a considerable amount of time working through troubleshooting with me we narrowed it down to issue between SONY OUT and PORT IN. (yes, we tried alternate cables). They suggested contacting Sony, and I’m thinking anyone in Sony’s support department wasn’t even born when this receiver was made let alone still support it. Was ready to give up when I reconnected the PORT to my BOSE Wave Radio. Thought I would try using connectivity in both directions instead of just using the WAVE as a speaker for the PORT. Once hooked up, no sound from WAVE. It worked yesterday just fine. Only difference was that both input and output were now connected between BOSE and PORT. Just for kicks, I unplugged the cable

I am a complete moron when it comes to anything that need computer literacy. Therefore I cannot find how to play my fav radio stations on my sonos 5. I have always used tunein and I just cannot find the Absolute Radio stations on Sonos Radio. Sure im being stupid but can anyone help please?Thanks

I have been delighted with my Sonos speakers!   I have six One SL’s and an Ikea Symfonisk.   The Sonos app has been problematic.   It is currently not reflecting a new playlist that I created in Apple Music.   It does see my other Apple Music playlists and has updated the AM playlist view recently.  The Sonos app did not import any of my AM playlists into Sonos, although it did import music without playlists from iTunes.  It errors out when I try to rebuild my music index.  I am sure that I am greatly exceeding the Sonos app’s limits in terms of playlists—I have hundreds of playlists and at least 50,000 tracks.    I can work around the Sonos app by just playing back from Apple or Alexa via Airplay.   Drastically reducing the number of playlists in Apple Music did not fix the Sonos app import problems, and cutting back on my playlists is not a good solution for me.So my questions are: How do you force the rebuild of the Sonos app’s Apple Music playlist view? Why is the AM playlist view

For the past 3 days my sonos system can’t play certain Sirius XM channels, namely the news channels.  The music channels are fine.   What’s happening?

Does anyone have issues with using Alexa skills through Sonos speakers? I have a few linked to my account (Neato for my vacuum & Delta for my kitchen tap as examples). If I ask an Alexa enabled Sonos to vacuum, it will tell me it's unable to find a device or group named Neato. But if I ask the same from an Amazon Echo it works as it should. Same thing for the Delta skill. It's been like this for as long as I can remember. Alexa does work on the Sonos speaker as I can ask it to pause, play music etc. 

Possibly a stupid question but... I have just purchased 2 ERA 300s. If i use them as a stereo pair will they playback Dolby Atmos and Apple Spatial music as they would if used separately? In other words would I still get all the spatial audio cues I do with a single ERA 300 or would they just playback as stereo recordings?

So recently I’ve noticed my connect amp appears to be dropping out regularly and consistently. Can support tell if the connect amp is faulty or it’s some other issue via diagnostics?

Hi,I have 2 WIFI networks at home.The first [1], quite old using 2.4GHz only, is used mainly for connecting home control devices like air conditioning and other smart home devices.The second [2] is based on 3 Netgear Orbi Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 + 5GHz) with 1 master and 2 satellites. All devices like smartphones and tablets are by default connected to this one for much better speed and coverage in the house.Please note that both Wi-Fi networks are connected to the same router. So, same sub-network.I just purchased a first Sonos device to check if this would provide a flexible solution for streaming music & radio in my home. I can successfully connect the One SL to the old network [1] after connecting the phone to that specific WIFI network as well. But when moving back the phone the new WIFI network, the connection is gone. Of course…On the other hand, I’m unable to connect the One SL to the new network [2]. Hi there, quite new with Sonos.I use a Beam + 2xOne for my TV (LG C2) as well as for google assistant.When I play video games I need to put the volume at approx.15-20% and when I use Netflix it’s more like 30%.The difference is very noticeable when I use the google assistant, as for depending on which setting it was last (game or netflix) it either feels too loud or not audible. My question : is there a way to automatically trigger different volumes by default?Like, when I start Netflix on the TV, 30%. When I turn off the TV, 20%. When I start the video games, 15%. When I start something after 10pm, 8% etc...

We have the opportunity to buy a couple of Sonos units (Sones One and Playbar) installed in the office of a bankrupt company. We will move soon in the office and I would be interested to buy this installation. My concern though is to take control of this installation and attach it to an account we would create for this occasion.The previous owner has vanished somewhere on the planet and it is impossible to get presumably actual account on this system.The question is simple : is it possible to reassign this system to an new account without the credentials of the actual one?

 Hi folks,New to the Sonos ecosystem so was looking forward to using the app with my Youtube Music account.But i seem to be hitting upon an issue whereupon the Sonos app will only show me a small number of artists/songs/playlists from my Youtube Music Library.For example, in the Artist section I can only access artists up to the letter I.Songs/PlaylistsAlbums also only offer me a small selection from my Library.Anyone come across this? I recently bought a turntable to play my LP records.Turntable: Audio Technica AT-LP3XBTThe turntable has its own preamp. I have connected via RCA-3.5mm to 3.5mm-usb C. This results in no sound, and it does not show up on the Line-in in the app.  Luckely the turntable has Bluetooth but the sound quality is not so good. Better quality on Spotify so then the purpose of a turntable is Gone.  Will it be better quality if I have Line in? How can I fix Line in? (I do not have Sonos’s adapter) 

Playbar sound keeps cracking and drops out for split second when watching tv. Connected to Samsung 65" tv via optic cable, also have two play 1's as surround speakers. Every so often the sound stops for split second and seems to stutter and crackle very slightly.  I've just run a diagnostic number 1783555761 Thanks.

I bought two white Symfonisk Picture Frame Speakers. I want to daisy chain them.Do I buy any cable with a c8 plug on one end and a c7 receptacle on the other?Are there any other requirements for the cable?

I am still on S1. I am wanting the sonance mag 6.1 garden speaker setup for outdoors. This system comes with the newer sonos amp and can power all 6 speakers and sub.  I have an extra older S1 Connect amp and wondering if it can also power all 6 of the garden speakers and amp as well? That way, I could use my extra connect amp and just purchase the garden speakers and sub separately without the newer amp.     

I can't get SVC to recognize KNX News 97.1 from Audacy.com on my Sonos Move. I've added it to my Sonos Favorites, my stations list and added the URL with a unique name via Tunein in the Sonos App. I've also tried renaming it in the Sonos app and calling it by the unique name. I'm able to play it on my Sonos Move using the app, but want to play it via Voice Control. I've tried calling it by "97.1" and other variations of the station's call letters. I tried logging out of Sonos, re-adding voice control, re-adding Audacy under Service Accounts, re-adding the Sonos skill in the Alexa app (for my Sonos 5), resetting my router, updating Sonos and cycling power.

I have a Beam soundbar, a Sonos mini woofer and two Sonos One surround speakers. As a present I’ve been given a Bluetooth turntable with amp . How do I connect it with my Sonos system as there are no Jack points in the beam?Is it possible to connect via Bluetooth?

Hello World and Sonos Teams, Just moved from one home to another, same set up as below. Everything worked at the old house, but not new house. I have Sonos Beam and 4 Ones (with Alexa)Beam and 2 Sonos Ones are set up as Surround (LS + RS)I have Google Router/Mesh - 4 pods. Main pod router is connected in basement. Wifi in the house is great. 2nd pod is in living room and ethernet connected to Samsung TV. Beam is then connected to TV via HDMI in the arc allowed port. TV plays fine through beam and surround. Nothing cuts out. I then play Spotify via the Beam and Ones and it cuts out and sometimes skips to a different song. Why is this happening? Only when I play music not TV. Thanks! J

My Sonos play:3 is dropping the sound and I am having trouble getting it to play.  am trying to reset it to factory setting by unplugging it and plugging it back in while simultaneously holding the play/pause button.   Once I plug it it, it flashes white for a short period of time, then alternates flashing between white and amber, but never seems to turn green. how long should it tack to rest to factory settings ? I have a move, one and another play:3 and all work fine.
