I’m thinking about replacing my Sonos Connect:AMP (runs with S2) with the newer Sonos Amp.
I’m using the connect:amp to power two speakers and a sub - mostly streaming music from a laptop connected to connect:amp via RCA in; and from my media library located on my desktop. Desktop shared on LAN via ethernet cable, connect:amp via wifi. (New Orbis router.)
Media library consists of ripped CDs in flac - CD quality uncompressed.
We are having occastional issues with skipping.
I thought I might as well go ahead and update my old connect:amp just to move to more recent tech. But I’m on the fence.
Does anyone know if the wifi antenna in the newer Amp is an improvement over the Connect:AMP?
