Hello, I am running with some issues with my sonos beam gen 2 with Alexa and Amazon music. When I Ask Alexa to play music, it réponds but it kever plays music (Alexa voice command is working fine on my ERA 100).On amazon music when I try to cast to the sonos beam it connects and then the apps says it disconnectedI try different things but nothing has solved issue : factory reset, enable/disable the sonos skills, try to remove and add Alexa from the sonos beam.

I feel stupid having to yell “Alexa” to ask her to stop the music when the volume is low. The Sonos One’s microphone is fine when the volume is not low, but really bad when low.

I would like to use my ERA 100 speakers as an audio output for my PlayStation.I tried an adapter linking the speaker to the TV (receiving the PS5 sound through HDMI) but the sound wasn’t pushed to the speaker. I decided to go for a Bluetooth adapter plugged in the PS5, but I’m facing a wall here and I’m not sure how to proceed to make it work. The PlayStation won’t recognize the speakers while I have the speaker in pairing mode.   

Why am I not able to search for music? I only have sonos radio for an option. 

Have Sonos Amp, Turntable & Five set.  Do I need to connect RCA to both speakers?  

Does anyone know what the maximum length usb-c charging cable the Roam will handle for charging?  I have tried a 26 ft cable and the App/Roam returns an insufficient power charging error.  I have not yet tried anything shorter to figure out where the max lies but looking for intel if anyone knows.  And, if anyone has an idea how to get more than 26 ft, would love to hear.  (I’m mounting these outside permanently under an eave for patio audio)

Is there a size limit for Spotify playlist to be played using the Sonos app? I have a 9,000 song Spotify playlist that I have added to My Sonos but it won’t play.  I get an error message that says the song cannot be added to the queue.  I have other, smaller, Spotify playlists that play fine. 

Hi all,  My sonos 3 is flashing white and when trying to connect on the app, it gets to the stage where it needs to play a chime but it never does play a chime. i have tried to reset it multiple times but it stays flashing amber and never turns green, even after waiting hours. it doesn’t show up on bluetooth either. On the app it says to press the mute button if chime doesn’t play, and i have many times, but it still won’t connect. I’m not sure what to do at this point if anyone has any idea what’s up with it  thanks from edward 

I have recently purchased a Sonos package.- 4 in-ceiling speakers- Amp- Sub Gen 3- Connected my current Playbar. Today I connected everything up and it took me a while to set this up on the S2 App. Wasn't actually straight forward for me for some reason. Not sure if anyone else struggled too.But, I was hoping to get Atmos sound from my set up, but I'm not.Can someone advice me what I may be doing wrong please? Find attached photos of the set up on my S2 app. Any tips would be much appreciated. Regards,Nils.

Recently I've been finding that the track showing on the app display and in the queue stops moving on as the playlist progresses. The app seems to get stuck on a particular track and keep on repeating it despite the playlist moving on.  This happens with different speakers and with streamed music as well as music library. Also the queue does not clear even though a new playlist is playing. The repeat button is not on and its a S1 systemHas anyone else had this problem?

Can anyone help me, how I can play all my playlists on Hearthis.at on my Sonos? I’d like to avoid Airplay if poss. Thanks

Hi…...We have 4 speakers, 1 pc. play one, 2 pcs. "book" and 1 pc. "Beam" standing in our 1 level house where they have been standing the whole time. But the last few months, we have had a challenge with the various speakers "dropping out" and coming back after a few minutes.What could be the problem here?Sincerely.Brian

Hello, I have a problem with my new sonos Beam gen2. We have a TV Samsung UE46ES6540. This TV has just 1 exit HDMI Arc.I have bought an HD Fury Arcana and I don’t understand. I don't have Atmos sound when I watch TNT TV. I have just PCM stereo or Dolby digital. Can you help me if I must do an particular operation.Tanks for your help

Dear community I am asking for help as it seems I have a problem with my new Victrola: the sound is very low on my sonos devices, I don't understand why.  The wifi is very strong and sonos is working well. When I connect my TT Victrola to sonos it is well recognized but the sound is very low,  even with the volume at 100. Is it the preamp that would be down or an issue with the headshell? I cannot try it with the RCA output as my sonos devices are not from the last generation. Thanks for your help!

Hello, I need help with audio cutting out and in while group playing music everywhere in the house.  My “Family Room” group is the room that cuts out and in intermittently while listening to music but the other rooms continue playing normally. Very irritating. The Family Room includes the Sonos Playbar, Sub, and two Sonos Ones with surround sound set up for our main TV. No connection to router issues as the router is in the same room right next to the playbar. Completely factory reset all devices in the room but unfortunately the issue returned. The TV is not on during streaming of music. Please help!

I am using an intel iMac with MacOS Ventura 13.2.1. I installed the Sonos S2 app and my library is on an external SSD. The Apple Music app accesses music from the drive fine. When I try to set the drive as source for Sonos is says some settings need to change and directs me to open settings. When I put in the password it says it is not correct. I know the password is correct and I can go into settings and change things with it. I have been on calls with Apple and Sonos and no-one has been able to help. They had me change some permissions and sharing settings to no avail.  Has anyone had this problem and found a work around or solution?

My Android phone (Galaxy S20) will connect for media on Bluetooth but not for phone calls.  There are options to set up the for media audio but I can’t see how to set up for calls. Anyone got any ideas please?

Dear friends and experts,I already own a Beam (gen 2) and I’m using it for the tv and to stream some music.I’d like to buy a turntable (Pro-ject T1 Phono SB, with integrated phono preamp) and directly connect it to a Era 300 using the line in of the Era 300.Can I then pair the Era 300 and the Beam with the sonos app in order to play simultaneously the vynil? Do you expect to have some kind of latency?Honestly I still have to decide if I’ll buy an Era 300 or 2 Era 100 but let’s see the answers to my question before.Kind Regards.

Hi all,I own a Beam Gen 1 soundbar. I am planning to setup home theatre around it. I am confused about which speakers to use and whether they are compatible with gen 1 beam. I will setup in my living room of 24*20 feet. Should I go with Sub mini+ 2 Era 100 or Sub + 2 Era 300 or Sub +2 Era 100? Are all of them compatible with Beam gen 1?Thanks 

I recently set up a Sonos system comprising a Beam, One SL, and Sub Mini, all connected via WiFi. However, I’ve encountered a persistent issue since installing the IKEA Dirigera smart hub at home. Whenever the Dirigera is active, the Sonos One SL and Sub Mini disconnect from the network, and I’m unable to reconnect them until I power off the Dirigera. I’ve verified this multiple times, and each instance of disconnection is resolved by turning off the smart hub. Seeking assistance to address this connectivity problem and understand if there’s a compatible solution between the Sonos system and the IKEA Dirigera. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello community,I have a pro-ject T1, cable RCA , pro-ject phono box mm and the speaker sonos one.I followed all the steps to set it up.But somehow it seemed like it didn’t connect with the speaker.I could only hear a low volume from my pro-ject T1. Any ideas how to resolve this ?thank you,Chia

Greetings, I recently bought a new Sonos Beam which prompted me to finally upgrade my system to S2. I now only have one device, a Play 5, that is not compatible with S2. The Play 5 is in my office so I’m fine with keeping it on S1 and not using it in conjunction with anything else. The trouble is the S2 app keeps telling me I have an incompatible product and I can’t upgrade anything until I delete it from the S2 system. I understand that resetting the Play 5 will remove it but am wondering if there’s a less drastic way to do it, as I have a ton of music services, playlists, etc. associated with it that I’m not relishing recreating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. 

I have ORBI 6. I was having so many problems with Sonos 1 WiFi speakers that I decided to connect the speaker via Cat Cable to its own ORBI Satellite.  It still doesn’t work.  So the only solution is to figure out how to give each speaker its own address.  What a pain.
