Watching the green light flashing, still not able to connect and set up. I’ve had system for several years and set up multiple times and always experienced hassles.power went out and system disappeared… app picks up our Roam at least but not happy.any help is appreciated 

I have a turntable, line in on a Play 5. I have another turntable, line in, on an Era 300. However, when I play on, it kills the sound on the other. How can I get around this? I also have a Sonos Connect as well. Moderator edit: Changed Sonos Bridge to Sonos Connect (the Connect’s room is called Bridge, but a Sonos Bridge is another device entirely)

I have bought a new phone and all my apps have been moved over to the new one. However I can’t summon up my Music Library (which is on my PC) when I go to access Sonos (two). The path to my iTunes library is correct on Sonos on the PC but on the new phone it isn’t (for some peculiar reason) and I’m trying to change it to the correct one without success. As a result, when I search for (eg) an artist, I get nothing of my own collection, just suggestions from Spotify and Tuneln. (I don’t subscribe to Spotify and I’m not familiar with the other one!)What I’m doing is in Music Library Setup. ie “Add New Share”. I have entered the path ( to the relevant folder on my PC’s external hard drive) and now it wants a username/password “if required”. Well there’s no username/password to access my files on my computer other than a password when I switch the computer on. But pressing ‘OK’ results in no response. I tried with my Apple (ie iTunes) username/password which shouldn’t be needed as I’m only

Dear All,I have an issue to connect my Era 100 to the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT turntable via Bluetooth.It seems to pair, but after a few seconds the Sonos Era 100 seems to simply turn itself off. The turntable seems to stay paired and the blue light is also on and not flashing, but the Sonos speaker just does nothing.Does anyone know how to solve this? Please help!

I do not have room to put a sound bar under my TV I do have bookshelves on both sides of the TV. Are there any Sonos options that I could use bookshelves without a center sound bar?  What system would you suggest for this room??   

Hi,At 7.35am every morning, my Sonos One announces the time, via Alexa. After several months, this is really starting to irritate me! Please tell me how I can switch this off? I have looked about the Alexa app, but have not go anywhere with it. Many Thanks.

I have several Sonos speakers around my home and have added a Sonos Roam.  It makes playing audio from podcasts and streaming on my phone through my home system seamless.  I leave the Roam home in its usual place connected to the other devices here and go out with my phone.  The car picks up the bluetooth and plays without even asking.  Smooth.  The problem is when I come home.  I go to the android bluetooth app and on request it connects to the Roam.  Then I go to the Sonos app and try to get it to resume playing that stream.  When I click on the Room Selector button, it shows a list of my sonos devices with my Roam unticked.  So I tick it and mark it done.  But that doesn’t stick.  What seems to work is to untick every device except the Roam then bring the others back on.I must have something set up wrong or be doing it wrong but it sure seems complicated. 

Hello sonos user,does anyone testing the beam gen 2 with the Era 300 as surround speaker? I own the beam gen 2 which is supporting dolby atmos. And i ask me how it sounds with 2x Era 300 as surrounds. I know it would be better with the Arc but i am interested how it sounds with the beam gen 2.i have the beam gen2+ sub(gen2) + 2x play 1 (5.1)  

I am slowly adding Sonos speakers into my home eco system and I loving it. Recently I purchased a new Sonos Play 5 for my office and planning to setup using my Sonos App. Can I use the same Phone and Sonos App to configure 2 different Systems based on Home or Work wifi?  What happens to my Spotify App on my Laptop will it automatically switch to network Sonos based on my home and work wifi May be its already answered before but I couldn't find the answer, so please help ML

I have a Sonos system that I have locked down at version 8.4 because I have several CR100 controllers that were built into the fabric of my home when Sonos was in its infancy and I wanted whole house music from my own music library (a state that continues to this day) and everything still works as intended.I have a few old units that unfortunately were off line when the system was fixed at 8.4 and are hence at slightly different software versions (prior to 8.4) and although they were all working fine with other controller software (which does not care what version the devices are at) one unit has been  factory reset and can no longer be added into the existing system.I am thinking of setting up a new S1 system for those items (and only those items - a ZP120 and 2x ZP80) but am reluctant to try just in case it messes up the current working system (in particular, bricking my CR100s). Is it possible to run a new S1 system alongside the existing system without the old system getting update

Lots of old Sonos speakers. S1 user with TuneIn service for podcast streaming (NPRs Wait Wait)The last couple of times I’ve tried to stream I get “connection to TuneIn was lost”. Do some google-fu and it says “TuneIn on S1 no longer supported”. So I go looking for another service. I find Pocket Cast. Except to have a Pocket Cast account apparently I need to pay $40 a year. No thanks. So is there any way for me to stream podcasts on my old system - or do I have to pay 1000’s to replace speakers / subwoofers or get yet another subscription service?

Hi There, I have the Sonos arc and Gen 3 subwoofer for some time, and I am in love with sound quality, I just purchased four Sonos 1 Sl wireless speakers, with Stands that I will install today.  My questions are:​​​​​​​should I connect the Sonos 1 speakers via Wi-Fi or through an Amp? my house comes with an option to add speakers on the ceiling, is this a good idea? I have 6 ceiling speaker ports, 2 in the main Lounge with the Sonos arc and surround speakers, 2 in the kitchen and two outside in a patio/pool area. Would I need 2 amps for this? how would it link to the Sonos ARC?

Apologies if this is a no brainer, but recently I updated a legacy Sonos system which contained a number of ZP80s, 100, Play 5 and Play Ones…This original system was controlled through the S1 App.I took the plunge and purchased a couple of new Sonos Amps, and plan to extend that to a Beam/Arc/surround sound ec and other S2 only devices..  So I set up a system on S2… 2 Amps and updated the 2 play ones..  All good…. I then wanted to keep my Play 5 - so created a new S1 system for that in another room on its own..same network etc..… all good… So..  S2 is a bit tempermental at connecting to the new Amps and Play 1 and often I have to search for my system..  Sonos comes up with 3 systems..  The new S2 system, the S1 Play 5 and then a third system with the remainder of devices that are now in a box in the loft and not required.. Question - How do I remove these legacy products from my account so I just have 2 systems.?.. Supplementary - Why is S2 so flakey at connecting to the new system whe

I have had my Samsung 65” QLED (QN85B) TV connected to my Sonos Beam Gen 2 via eArc for over a year. In the last month, when I turn on the TV, the two units connection is lost. This happens frequently (once a week or so). To resolve, I must turn off the Samsung TV, unplug the Sonos, wait 10 seconds, plug in the Sonos, wait for lights to stop blinking, turn on the TV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having suffered  worsening and  considerable amount of audio drop-outs from everything on my system: TV, radio, Roam, music library and vinyl over the past several months; I once again contacted customer support. After  running diagnostic checks the temporary solution was to disconnect the Sonos Port.This has resulted in all audio playing correctly with only one or two drop-outs in the day or so since the ‘fix’ was applied.The advice was to connect the Port only when we want to play vinyl, but the vinyl drops-out as well.Is there anyway I can re-attach the Port to my system, or have Sonos mis-represented the nature of their product and the Port is incompatible with other Sonos products? My system is:Room 1 Home cinema system consisting of Playbar, two x Play 3 and Sub-mini; Room2: Play1;  Room 3: Play 1; Room 4; Port and record deck; Roam

I understand and see it very clearly stated in the documents (of course after I just saved a bunch of money to buy this thing).Note that the subwoofer output is disabled when Amp is being used to power surround speakers for a Sonos home theater product.I bought this specifically to add 2 speakers and a sub to finish my home theater setup. So why can’t we do this? Is my only option to buy a Sonos sub to complete this? This is a real bummer. 

Hi, how can we listen to audio from browser on our phones or desktop computers (through Era 100)? I’m on iPhone and Mac M2, if it matters. Sonos app doesn’t seem to allow it.  

This is an installation and functionality question. I am a builder + tech/audio enthusiast but not a professional in the AV installation field.  I have an older house with wood clad walls. I am installing a TV on my wall with a recess so it sits flush to the wall. My plan was to install the sonos amp vertically behind the TV - to which i had verified the depth. However I have a question relating to vertical and hidden installations.  If I am ‘hiding’ my Sonos Amp within a wall, on a wall bracket, will there be any detrimental performance issues? Obviously I am considering heat dispersion and have allowed for passive ventilation. However the void depth in which I am installing is 90mm-100mm (64mm sonos amp, installed on a wall bracket, allows for around 30-40mm), the height and width is essentially the entire cavity of the wall. So lots of space to dissipate any heat is what I think? I will be cabling direct to the sonos amp (cat6 cable, HDMI to TV, speaker cabling + power of course). S

Hello,I would like to know if the input CONTROL IN is a trigger input ?I bought a Sonos Port and I connected the trigger line to the CONTROL IN input with a mono jack3,5 cable but the AV receiver doesn’t wake up. BBC sounds has stopped working through Sonos app. I've uninstalled both apps but still when I try to add BBC sounds to the app it asks to authorise the BBC account but then goes to a "link not ready" page which just buffers. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hello,I’m new here and I need advice regarding the combination mentioned in the subject line.First one is if this combination works reliably? I intend to use the Bem G2 exclusively for radio listening in bedroom. Second and most important one is if its possible to switch off the Beam with the Symfonisk remote control? Third, not so important is, if its possible to change radio stations with the Symfonisk, but this is really not important as 90% of the time I listen the same station. Fourth - Thank you advices!P.S. I want to use the Beam due its shape, no place for “classical” speakers.

How do I make a feature request? I have been trying to do it myself for some time using my PC. Would be awesome if Sonos had this feature built it. When playing music though my arc I noticed the arc has some fancy patterns that show on the TV. These are static images. There should be a way to display an audio visualizer on the tv when listening to music through the connected Sonos speakers. Anything to boost the atmosphere. 

I have several gen 1 amp connect and would like to know if they can be used with the 6.5 Sonos in ceiling speakers?  Also, are the speakers wireless?  If so, can they connect wirelessly or do I need to connect them via conventional speaker wires?Thank you very much!Mark

is there a solution for combining the playbar with 2 sonos era 100 speakers? Can we synchronize 2 systems, one with the playbar and subwoofer and the other with the 2 Era 100 speakers? And the cherry on the cake, can we have them in surround?
