What occurs if I've set music on the Sonos App to play through my Sonos amp, and then my phone's battery dies?

Here's the rephrased scenario:

Here's the situation: The Sonos Amp is configured to my WiFi and is functioning smoothly. I'm curious whether the Sonos Amp relies on my phone to continue playing music, especially if I've selected continuous streamers or radio stations that should play uninterrupted.

Sonos devices play from the source; unless you are using Airplay, no content ever goes through the controller device.  You can start the music playing and turn off the controlling device and the music will continue.

For all intents and purposes the app is just a remote to the system.
