Before I buy the mini sub i need to know it will sync with my pair of era 100’s when i use my record player via the phono adapter on the era 100. Thanks

I recently upgraded to a new M2 MacBook Air and Sonos is no longer able to access my music in my library.  Under Settings I ensured Sonos had access to all Media and Apple Music, I gave Sonos full disc access under “Files and Folders”, and I turned on File Sharing and Media Sharing under General>Sharing.  I also deleted the previous link to my music library in the Sonos app.When I go to Sonos>Settings>Music Library and try to add my music library location I am asked to put in my computer username and password and then when I try to add the folder Im given the following:“Access to the shared folder (music folder path) is denied - check the username and/or password.”This seems to be a common problem but none of the solutions Ive found in previous posts work for me.  

I have s2 system with both Sonos and Symfonisk speakers. I have the IKEA Trådfri gateway and the Ikea Symfonisk volume remote control gen 2. The remote control works great for playing, volume etc but I can no longer get scenes to work. Before it worked as advertised i.e. creating a scene in the IKEA app for a Sonos/Symfonisk speaker and when hitting “add music” I could choose whatever is in my “my Sonos” section of my Sonos app, but now I get the error message that “my Sonos is empty” which is not the case. Old scenes I created before this bug arose still works despite getting a red error in the ikea app. Does anyone have this issue or know how to solve it? I am on iOS 17.2.1 and Sonos and IKEA are updated to latest versions.

I have a stereo pair of Sonos fives, and a turntable with either Bluetooth or RCA left and rigght jacks for sound output. Don’t seem able to pair via Bluetooth, so I was going to hook up with cables, but the sonos fives only have single 3/8 input jacks. Will I lose sound quality if I run a mono RCA-to-3.5 jack into each Sonos five?

I have owned my system (Arc, Sub(Gen 3) and One SLs) for just over a year. Up until a few weeks ago, everything was awesome, but now the sound coming from my Samsung QN85 keeps cutting our for a few seconds. The frequency at which it happens depends on the settings I’ve made in the “Sound” menu on the TV, i.e. enabling/disabling Atmos, etc. I’ve tried unplugging, made config changes recommended in similar threads, etc. but nothing seems to be helping. What changed to make this start occurring? Is there anything I can do to get it to work the way it did for the first 11 months?

Have a small ‘mancave’ with a gen 1 beam, sub mini and ones as rear surrounds. Is it worth upgrading to Era 100’s for the surrounds?  Would they make a noticeable difference? Thanks

MyTuner radio stop running on sonos s2 apps

Last night my Sub + One SL’s (x2) suddenly stopped working with my Arc. My system has been up and running without incident for 2+ years. No changes to my network or environment.Support articles I have tried and did nothing:Unable to connect to Sonos Reset your Sonos product Connect to a new router or WiFi network Changing SonosNet channels (all 3)Things I have tried that achieved mix results:Connecting the Arc via Ethernet disconnects the entire system and no device can connect to the internet (tried disabling WiFi in app with similar results) Reconnected Arc successfully to WiFi after enabling WiFi and disconnecting Ethernet Sonos app cannot “find” Sub or One SL’s, but Arc is available and connected to WiFi Connecting Sub via Ethernet reconnects entire system (including SL’s) with no input from me in the app (this is not ideal as I have to run a very long Ethernet cable) Disabled/Enabled Sub WiFi via app, disconnected Ethernet with same negative results when trying to connect to WiF

I just bought a new iPad and set it up. When I open the Sonos app, it says “Unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix it.” However, Sonos is working just fine on my iPhone. When I open the app, I can see all of my devices and control them as expected. When I tap the “Let’s fix it” bubble and start to go through the steps, it wants me to unplug all of the devices and plug them back in. I’m wary of doing this because I don’t want to make any changes that would interfere with the system working on the Sonos app on my iPhone, which is how I primarily use it.When I tap “Join nearby system”, it says “We can’t find a Sonos system on <name of my network>. Make sure your Sonos system is powered on and connected to the network.” It is. I went to the Sonos app on my iPhone and tapped “System”, then “Network > Manage Networks”. Under “Networks”, the name of my network is indeed listed there. Why isn’t it working on my iPad when it works on my iPhone? I’ve already tried deleting and reinstalli

Apple recently released the option to ‘Favourite’ a song, whilst I can see Favourite Songs in Apple’s Playlists in the SONOS app, when I open it, I just get the notification that ‘No selections are available’

I had posted earlier about connecting my vintage record player to Sonos and was given the exact information I needed and was able to get that done. Now that I have done this I notice the speaker volume is not terribly high like if I were just streaming music to my speakers and not going through the connect. I was wondering if I could add something to my system to give more volume? would I add an amp or something else?Again, not terribly savvy with this stuff and any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I recently bought a pair of Era 300’s to have Dolby Atmos compatible home theater. I added them to the system but I’m not sure if everything is okay.I have:-Beam (Gen 2)-Sub Mini-2x Era 300 I’m using an Apple TV 4K with LG OLED55CX3LA. The Apple TV is connected via HDMI to the LG TV, then the LG is connected to the Beam via HDMI as well with the eARC slot. The Beam and the Sub mini are using the SonosNet, the Eras are on the Wi-Fi.On the LG the HDMI input sound format is Bitstream, the output is set to passthrough, eARC is enabled, Digital TV sound is set to Auto. The Apple TV is set to Atmos. When I’m using the AppleMusic, I can get Dolby Atmos with the suitable tracks, but when I’m using a streaming service like Disney+, Netflix, SkyShowtime I only get Dolby Multichannel 5.1. I have the biggest subscription on Netflix. But being able to use these but not for my home automation, only for information, weather...I was directed by the Bard AI to the Sonos One 2nd generation, but it is no longer sold.Can you direct me to a reference that can:- control my Home-Assistant home automation- Be compatible with Google home and AlexaThanks for your help.

Projector is located at the rear of the room, Roku and connection to Sonos Arc at the front of the room with an Arcana switch in between but also at the front of the room. Would like to locate the gear elsewhere other than the front of the room next to the screen but need a cable longer than the one provided by Sonos - probably less than 15’. The folks at HD Fury recommend the Zeskit Maya for the video cable but don’t make Sonos audio cable recommendations. Thoughts from the Sonos Community?

Hi GuysI have an LG TV 55 inch with 3 HDMI connections plus a further HDMI ARC/eARC.The Sonos Beam Gen2 is connected eARC.For the moment everything is working as expected.[Netflix / Amazon / Disney+ are running from APPS on the TV] They each provided a version of surround sound✓I also have a Set Top Box for streaming channels. This box needs to be replaced as it's old now.I'm hoping to replace it with a FireStick 4K that accommodates a version of Dolby Atmos.I also want to connect a Blu-Ray player that takes advantage of the Sonos Dolby Atmos Sound.Can you advise me as to the best way to firstly connect the FireStick?Secondly can you also advise on collecting a Blu-Ray Player?I'm not a very technical guy!Kind RegardsPadraig 

I can play music from my IPhone (purchased music via Airplay and also radio and Amazon however the Sonos App will NOT saved it to the Queue playlist.Keeps coming with an ERROR  unable to add to queue. I don’t even get any options.Normally you can click on the tab right hand side for options;Add Song to my SonosAdd to Sonos Playlist play now play nextetcI have reset the App several times and my IOS is up to date. So not sure why!!Does any one have a solution please.Thank you         

I have a Gen 1 Beam + Gen 1 subwoofer connected to an older Vizio tv through the Toslink adapter to HDMI. It has worked fine for some years, but lately audio has some intermittent stuttering when we watch tv (via a Roku streaming stick). Unsure of the cause but wondering if somehow we had jerked the Toslink cable, I replaced the adapter, but I’m still seeing the same issue. The tv’s digital audio output is Stereo PCM. I’m worried that there’s damage to the tv’s Toslink port, but I can’t prove that. Connect Amp OS2. Sound cuts out. Hard reset ( unplug/ replug) corrects it for about 24 hours and then starts dropping sound again. It is not an issue with wire connections since it happens using Alexa also. Could the amp be bad?

I hope you can help I have beam2 and two rear Era 100 all connected via WiFi.  Playing music is perfect but when watching tv through sky the sound on the system has a distortion to it, almost like a squelch to it.im really desperate and am thinking could it be my WiFi or is there something else I am missing?  Please help!

for some reason, my remote that controlled the volume on my Playbar and sub stop working. 

I have two sonos systems. One S2 and one S1. The S2 has some boxes and the S1 only has an old Sonos connect which is connected to a turntable and an old play 3. This worked fine, but during the holidays the Connect disconnected from the S1 System and I can’t reconnect it.Here are the steps I am taking:Reset the S1 app Go to the start screen where I can decided between new system or connect to an existing one. I choose new system.(Connect to existing system only finds the S2) Unpower the Connect Plug it in again and old Mute until the LED flashes green check that the ethernet port at the back is blinking green Log in in the app and say that I want to connect a boost(I also tried it with product but it is just more steps and I end up with the same problem) I press the two buttons on the Connect The S1 App finds the Connect I say I want to connect with the Connect Wait about 5 seconds S1 App says DONE, Connected to your Sonos system … I press done, but get thrown back to the start screen(

In the past few weeks the vocal track of Dolby Digital 5.1 sound has been only coming out (loudly) of the left rear surround speaker of a Sonos Arc System.  No voices come from the Sonos Arc, but it sounds like surround speaker sounds are coming from the Arc.  So shows in DD 5.1 are basically unlistenable.My system: 1) Sonos Arc/Sub/2 Sonos One surrounds, 2) LG CX  77 TV, 3) Apple TV 4K 3rd genI stumbled upon a fix, which is to toggle eARC off and back on again on the LG CX.  After than sound comes from the Arc, but eventually this has be redone (see below). Why is this happening and is there a better fix? This is a new problem that started a few weeks ago.Further details:To play DD 5.1, I have to explicitly set Apple TV’s audio format to DD 5.1 because when you set it to “Auto, Atmos Available” you get Multichannel PCM 5.1 which sounds bad.  This is a known limitation of Apple TV (https://en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-228993/apple-tv-unable-to-switch-dolby-formatting-with-arc-68

Hi All, Thank you in advance. I am trying to get Sonos app to authorize Sirius XM account.  when I go through the process to add a service on the Sonos app,  it opens the Sirius website and asks me to log into the Canadian site, which I do with not issues.  I get into the Sirius account, then nothing.  it asks me to log into the Sirius App, which I do without any issues,  It does not go back to Sonos app saying that Sirius is authorized. Can someone please advise on what I am doing wrong?  Thanks so much 

I have an Argon Audio TT turntable and it has worked fine for a while, but when I decided to switch over to a Sonos setup, it didn't respond well to that.When I connect the turntable up to my Era 100. It gives me a lot of static and barely any sound from my LP.The turntable does have a RIIA preamp and I've tried it on a non Sonos speaker and it works fine.I have also tried on my Sonos move 2 and it behaves the same as the other one.I don't know what to do here.
