[To avoid any confusion: this is about static IP addresses, not reserved IP addresses!]Is it possible to set/unset static IP addresses within Sonos devices?The reason I ask is that I have just been checking in my router to see what internal IP addresses are currently in use, and I find that one of my Sonos devices out of a total of eleven has an IP address which is not within my DHCP range. It’s actually permanently on an IP address that I have (for many years) had statically assigned to another device.What I would like to do is to stop it from using that IP address, and get it to request an IP address via DHCP - in my assigned DHCP range - like the other ten devices do.Note that this device is one of four in my system that are connected via Ethernet to my network.[As above, this is the distinction between static and reserved IP addresses: To set a reserved IP address, you configure your router’s DHCP server to recognise a device’s MAC address and always give it a specific IP address w

Not sure what to do but any help would be greatly appreciated. I can connect to my Sonos account and see all my media players. When I select Sirius It shows all the channels but they are greyed out/ not highlighted where you can select to play them? I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Unauthorized reauthorized. Looking to purchase a turntable to hardwire to my Sonos 5..looking at angel horn  wishing looks a lot like the PT1 but half the price .  It has a pre amp .Does anyone know if this turntable  (angels horn 3600L (upgraded to bluetooth) will work with Sonos 5 (model S100)  RCA  jack ?   

Hello All,I got Sonos Zoneplayer 5, not sure of the generation number, but the volume selector is on top of the machine. I bought it on an impulse from Ebay, as I was looking for an external speaker to play my ipod. I have an old (big) ipod, 80GB size. Over 10 years old, easily.All I want to do is plug my ipod in with an 1/8 inch, which I did, to listen. Nothing. No sound.So, did I buy a brick? This thing is useless at this point. I have a Pixel 8 pro and looking to buy 2 era300 speakers and subscribing to apple music.(Currently using Amazon music) I have a query if someone can answer. With the Sonos 2 app and apple music connected as a service in the the app.  Does the Dolby Atmos/spaital audio work if I select music directly via the Sonos app? I know this works on iPhone, but need clarification whether it works on pixel 8 pro. thanks

Hi. My sonos move just stoped. I did a resett, and now i get «livingroom not registered» Tried most tips i could find, but no can do. Sonos app do see my speaker, but it wont play.

So long time Sonos user. About 2 months ago I upgraded all my components to the newest versions. All seemed well for about 6 weeks. Everything seemed rock solid. Last two weeks components randomly seem to be disappearing from my system in the iOS app. They mostly disappear, sometimes reappear. If they don’t reappear I have to reboot the component, sometimes factor reset it. The totally weird thing is if music is playing on a component which it disappears the music carries on playing with issues. But I can no longer control the component because its vanished from the iOS app. Even weirder, the missing components on iOS do sometimes appear in the Mac app.My network system hasn’t changed for the past few years. LTE 5G router, wireless turned off, attached to Google Wifi Pro mesh system which is the only wifi supplier in the apartment.Anyone have any ideas what might be going on and how my future doesn’t involve setting aside a couple of hours each week to reboot/factory reset Sonos compne

Have a fluance record player with a built-in amp. Would an external preamp provide better sound to my Sonos speakers. I have a line in to fives.

Hello there  I have a Sonos Amp and a number of Sonos Ones around the house. Whenever we play records in the house the volume on the Soho One is very quiet, relatively. By which I mean if you turn the volume way up it sounds fine, but then anything else played is super loud, and needs to be dialled back.  This happens across all speakers and there are no apparent issues with the setup, cables and connections are all fine. The record player is a Audi-technical and has never given me issues  Has anyone encountered this? Is this expected and just part of the setup, or is this something that with further investigations can be amended  Thanks in advance for any assistance  

Hi everyone! I’m finding there are multiple solutions to this issue depending on the set up and turntable. Basically I have set up my Music Hall MMF-1.3 Turntable to my two Era 100 using line in connected to a RCA to AUX and I’m getting a massive humming noise.Changing the source level to the lowest does resolve the issue, however I’m too understand it should be at 10 for a turntable so I don’t think I’m getting the best out of it. The humming also returns on a low level if the volume is too high, I like to listen to my records quite loud.I feel like a grounding cable might help, but I don’t know where I could connect the other end too given the Era 100 doesn’t have anything to connect it to.  Things to note:The turntable has a built-in phono pre-amp the tone arm is aluminium  each speaker is 0.6m either side of the turntable  The turntable also sits under my TV All of the adapters for my entertainment unit sit underneath where my turntable sits connected to a power board I have a feel

I recently bought two sonos era 100 speakers and no matter what I do neither one of them will connect to my sony PS-LX310BT turntable. I’ve had the turntable for awhile now and it has no problem connecting to other bluetooth speakers but they just won’t connect to my era 100 speakers.

Hi, I’m looking for some support as to the product needs to get my Project bluetooth turntable with phono pre-amp to easily connect with my Sonos system. Hi, I just changed my Sonos Beam from a Samsung TV ( sorry forget the model ) where the Beam worked seamlessly in that I could use Alexa to adjust volume on the TV etc. I moved the Beam to another property on a TCL 55P638K that has eARC. When I connect in the HDMI cable to the eARC port on the TV and then into the Beam and try to do the setup in the app it is telling me it doesn’t see a connection to an eARC port. I did a full reset of the Beam a couple of times and have also tried a Firestick in the eARC port and it is at least showing the pic and TV sound. The cable is the same cable I was using at the other property so I suspect it is not a cable issue although I do need to validate that. That said I’m fairly certain that is not the issue as I literally moved from one location to the other. Any suggestions welcome before I purchase the optical cable to HDMI adaptor and try that method ?Thanks,Dave. 

Hi All I’m new here. I recently bought an LG 65 Oled TV, now originally I had an LG led 65, and worked perfectly well linking up with my Sonos playbar, sub woofer and 2 ones, all working well.It was linked via optical lead, and now the same set up on the Oled. Now I have no sound out of the Sonos, just the TV.  I can play Spotify through the Sonos, but for some reason I can’t get sound from my Sonos system.

Songs appear but won’t play file.  No server found 

I have read pretty much all the remedies on the forum on how to link the lg magic remote to the playbar via the optical output, but nothing works. I have been in touch with the SONOS help line and they have been through the procedure with me, but in the end admitted defeat and said I should speak to LG. I have tried resetting the remote for Philips, Bose and several other manufacturers. I have got to the point where I think I should get a new remote - or a new sound bar- but wondered if there were any suggestions as to what remote to buy. At the moment I have to control the sound through the Sonos app.

For some reason suddenly some of my Spotify playlists I created are highlighted grey and cannot be played on Sonos ?The playlists are OK on the Spotify app and they play  fine !Any thoughts ? Thanks 

My Samsung Frame TV is suddenly no longer able to play audio through my Sonos AMP connected via HDMI ARC. Hi there, we bought an IKEA Symfonisk wall speaker and it looks and sounds great. However, neither myself (android) nor my wife (IOS) can find Spotify in S2. We rebooted everything, changed networks, reinstalled apps, but nothing. It is nowhere to be found in the list of services in S2. My wife managed to connect Spotify with the speaker once without S2. Only once however. My Spotify sees the speaker but cannot connect to it. Keeps flashing and saying connecting... Anyone with a similar challenge or experience to help? BestAnestis

I want to add a new device to my existing system, so I downloaded the S2 app to the new device and chose Add to existing system. Then the app tells me to press a button on a device, but what happens when I do that? Will the app connect to my existing system and find ALL my connected speakersor just the one on which I pressed the button? And will pressing the button on that speaker remove it from my other devices app?

I am trying to figure how to make all speakers to play music through the complete house when I hit play on my phone.    I have then all in one group but only the 2 speakers in the room that is connected to by Bluetooth plays. I have to go around and hit the play button on each speaker to make it start playing
