I use Sonos in a restaurant and we manage the music + volume through the app.Every day, at the same time, the volume turns down on its own. I turn it up, and 2 or 3 seconds later, it turns back down again. It seems to be capped at 15, won’t stay any higher. Later in the night (several hours later, once the restaurant is closed again), we can take it back up.We have 2 other locations where we use Sonos (2 separate bars), and no issue there, only the one in the restaurant.Any idea what is happening?

Running the new Sonos 80.00.04.  Every time I try to play Apple Music content, I’m prompted to “Reauthorize” my Apple Music service.  Every time I follow the reauthorize steps, the app hangs (whether I’m on my iPad or my iPhone).  Endless loop.  Sonos system is useless until this can be fixed.  It was already headed in that direction because the Connect:Amp product has never worked without cutouts (with or without Boost).  Also:  tried deleting and reinstalling the Sonos controller on the iPad.  No joy.Moderator edit: combined posts

I have recently moved into a house with Sonos system so I did a reset successfully but now it won’t pic up on the wifi, I have successfully connected via Ethernet cable but this isn’t practical.  

Hi. I just upgraded the new Sonos  app upgrade on iOS. It doesn’t  seem to work with voiceover. Not usable by blind users.

I purchased a second sub for one of my two rooms. The new app will not allow me to assign to its room but we were able to assign to my other room. When moving it to proper room it once again failed to be assigned. Then two ERA300 speakers dropped their assignment and can no longer assign them to a room. Pretty weird. 

I have the sonos beam 2 and i am using with my projector so it is mounted above the screen using the flexson tilting mount. When it is mounted like this it is upside down. My left and right channels are switched. My apple tv and projector have no option to invert the audio. Is there anyway to do this on the beam?

I am trying to connect a used Sonos one to my Sonos system I can see it on the app (I have the new just released 2024 app) and it makes all the right noises and everything works even assigning the speaker to a room until registering when it says:There was a problem adding your Sonos One to your system. Try again laterSonos one is not registered I’ve rebooted the Sonos one, rebooted the router, turned my iPhone on and off, then factory reset the Sonos one and even connected with an Ethernet cable to the router but it always stalls at the same point - it takes an age ‘Linking your Sonos one to your account’ then always the same result: There was a problem adding your Sonos One to your system. I am struggling with how I’m going to bring wiring through stucco wall (no attic or basement) for the amp to be inside my living room. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated 

Having an issue with the macOS Controller on my M1 MacBook Pro since the 16.1.1 install a few weeks back.Whenever I load the controller it says ‘We need to get Sonos running on the latest software. Choose Check for Updated to get started.’I press Check and it comes up with ‘No update required. Your Sonos system is up-to-date.’I have deleted the app and reinstalled. I then deep-deleted the app (from ~Library etc) and reinstalled. Same issue.The app and updater has permissions to update under Security > Privacy etc.If I press ‘Continue using the SONOS app’ it then goes to searching and then puts me in a similar loop which is‘Some of your products aren’t registered to your Sonos account. Let’s register them now so you can use them’.I log-in and it goes back to ‘No update required.Can anyone suggest what to do now? I’ve tried ‘Reset App’ etc too.thanks

My Connect:Amp disappeared from my Sonos app and I can’t play anything on it anymore. The LED is just slowly blinking white. Before this issue, it has worked flawlessly for 8 years in the same spot. Have several other Sonos products that still work.Tried the following, but none of the below worked:Not able to factory reset - held down the play/pause button for over a minute while plugging in and it never reset from what I could tell - tried 10+ times only ever got a slowly blinking white light (never saw an amber color) Wired it directly to my router via ethernet, and have left it on and connected overnight per this article (the ethernet lights on the back do turn on when plugged in but it doesn’t show up as a connected device from my router) Then re-tried step 1 while still wired directly the next dayNot sure what else to try, does this just mean it is broken? Anybody have a similar experience?

It’s a couple months that I can’t use Sonos on my iPhone and my wife’s one. Before I could use the app on my phone, listen to music with Spotify and control the same song on my wife’s phone. My wife could use the same app on her phone, without any problem. Now, if both apps are installed on both phones, I have ‘no connection to Sonos’, then follow the procedure using bluetooth and position, but at last I have no connection at all. If I deinstall the app on one phone, the app on the other one is working again. I hope I explained what happens. Is anybody able to help me? Thanks

Just updated the firmware to 16.2 and now using the latest Sonos app the audio output always wants to default to my Beam in the bedroom, if I select my Era speakers only in the living room then at the bottom of the app it’s still set to the Beam in the bedroom and has changed itself back as well in the output setting.i thought the app update was bad enough but now I can’t control the living room audio via the app :-(

Hello all,We are currently getting a house extension and we are creating a media wall (ceiling not yet built).I’m wanting to get a good sound setup for the television and thought that Sonos’ ceiling speakers and amp would be a good addition to the system.Question is will this work with my current set up which is:A Sonos playbar which we bought 8 years ago.Gen-3 subwooferWent into a tv/speaker shop near where I live and they told me I would need an Arc soundbar, Sonos Amp and two speakers along with cabling from speakers back to Amp. I’m not sure if they are upselling me or whether the playbar won’t work as it’s too old. Would be grateful if anyone could advise, had a search through previous topics but couldn’t find the answer! ThanksAndy

I just bought a second hand Play 3 (1st gen).I factory reseted it and setup went well.I can play music on it using Sonos app but I don’t see my speaker in my Airplay list on my iPhone.What am I doing wrong?I see my Beam speaker in the living room. Thanks guys!

I’m currently undergoing major works in home, and i’m figuring out cables layout.When I think about TV setup, I was thinking the following:Front: Arc soundbarRear: Sonos Sonance in the wall controlled By AMP (which should talk wifi with ARC if i’m not wrong).Sub: A sub mini should be enough. Questions..:#1: May I believe that this setup is correct? Can Sonances be used as rear channels and does AMP  receive rear channel from ARC?#2: In future may be better to also add two front speakers as ERA 100 or 200 or 300..? or front audio is enough with the bar?  Thank you in advance for your help, and sorry if questions are a bit dumb..:)  

Last year, I set up my pair of ONE SL speakers in my BEDROOM and my pair of ONE speakers in my MEDIA ROOM with my Gen 3 Sub and ARC. I want to switch the ONE speakers to my BEDROOM and vice versa. I have physically made the switch, but I don’t know how to change the pairing on my app, so now when I am watching tv in my MEDIA ROOM, I hear the tv on my ARC, but the BEDROOM speakers upstairs are working.  

How can I change from a streamed service to line-in? I have attached both a CD player and turntable to my Era 100s. I want to group other rooms but it is impossible to find how with new app.The new app is one of the least user friendly apps ever designed.

Does anyone else have to reboot their systems multiple times during the month? I use my products for the sole purpose of listening to music throughout the whole house while doing chores or working out. Every few days, multiple speakers cut in and out, requiring me to go to each speaker and unplug and plug it back in. If this is the future, help me get back to the past. This is the most monotonous way of enjoying music and the least enjoyable experience for a whole-house music system. I've reached the point where I've reverted back to using my phone and earbuds to have the listening experience I thought I was investing in with Sonos. Just fix the problem or make it possible to reboot the system from the app.

The new app doesn’t know where it is when I move from my Home to my Office.  It always asks me to log in. Once I do it can’t find my systems.  The old one always knew where we were and could always find ALL my products.  The new one lost, confused and can only find a few of my sonos speakers.  How do I re-install the old app? 

Yesterday I saw an invitation (on the new app or somewhere - can’t remember where) but now I can’t see it.How can I register for this event? Maybe Sonos have locked it due to the furore. 

I just sold my Sonos playbase.i hidden it from my system but, the man who bought it says he cannot connect because it still owns to my system.what should i do to let him free using my Sonos? thanks marco

After nearly a week I still can't access my local library the app doesn't bring up that stuff I don't understand why you would release an app that's so incomplete I hate to go buy a car that didn't have a radio and was missing three tires and have the salesman say well at some point you'll get them

I want to connect my Tone Factory Vinyle player to my Sonos system (1 Roam, 1 Beam and 1 One SL). What should I do? If I buy the Sonos Port would it work?

Music keeps cutting in and out.  Internet speed is fine at 250 mbps.  Any ideas?  App is really sluggish.
