Help! - Cannot connect new sub mini to exisiting set up...

Hi All,

 

Would appreciate some help please:

 

  1. I’m not having any success adding a new sub mini to an existing beam 2.  The sub mini is not even being recognised by the new app.   Is the new app the problem ?
  2. I’m also tried connecting the sub via an wired connection but still no success.
  3. The Beam 2 is connected to the network via an ethernet connection.
  4. When going through the new app; adding a new sub to the beam 2 option, the new sub is not coming up at all ; either wirelessly or through the wired connection. Only the existing subs are showing up.
  5. I already have other sonos speakers and multiple subs in other groups which are all connected fine before the new app and after.
  6. This is the first time I have had  trouble with the new app adding a new products.

Any thoughts or workarounds to get the working ?

No need to reply .. Tech support has sorted it .  Need to go through the option of adding new speaker/component from the front end option rather than adding the sub via the option through the beam 2 connection….

 

Ive asked tech support to perhaps improve the app to this effect...

I need to add that the sub mini is flashing green ready to go  but no luck.  I also reset it and flashing green.  Still no luck.
