Update
I removed the service and reauthorised it and it’s working now, although must say the app seems quite slow loading music and the music artwork.
Everybody seems very nice and polite on these community threads. Kudos. However, I’m not reading any helpful answers. I’m an old man who took a long time to get comfortable with the old system. I was frustrated because I had to build a Sonos playlist separate from my old boom box playlist. Then I couldn’t listen to the Sonos playlist on my Bose headphones. NOW, my numerous Sonos playlists are gone and I don’t know how to build new ones. Are we still Wi-Fi or, as it seems, can I now play Bluetooth on Sonos? Please direct me to an EASY TO UNDERSTAND tutorial for navigating the new system. Thanks.
I removed the service and reauthorised, but at final step there is an error and I can’t add Apple Music. I tried with other service Amazon Music and Qobuz, nothing work
Well, that’s certainly not encouraging. It sounds like I may need to have a Sonos garage sale and go back to an analog system. Or just go with Apple Music and my Megaboom portable speaker. Thanks for the info.
I had the same issues but I started playing my Apple Music thru Apple air play to the Sonos speaker. I then went to the Sonos app and was able to control it and change songs, volume , etc. I think my issue was my wife had played her Apple Music to the Sonos and when I tried to connect it didn’t work because hers was connected. Making the Sonos play my Apple Music thru airplay reset it to my account. Try that out.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that, but was not successful. Pilot error on my part. But my 35 year old millenial daughter intervened. Because I already have a separate Apple Music app she convinced me to build my playlists SEPARATELY - on that app. Then open the Sonos app and click on the Apple Music that, with the new system, now appears under the YOUR SERVICES heading. Recall Apple Music playlists previously could not be played on the Sonos app - only Sonos playlists. Good news: Your playlists can now be utilized on both your Sonos system AND on a random, non-Sonos, boombox/portable speaker. Bad new: The old Sonos playlists, at least for me, were not iretrievable. So, I am currently in a rebuild phase. I’m taking suggestions from the community for my favorite drinking songs list.
