voice assistant set-up

Hi,

My beam gen2 is connected to my WiFi and I am playing music too it now but when I try and add any voice assistant, it doesn't matter which one,  all I get is 'there was a problem connecting to your device' message.  I have tried all the usual things, reboot router and so on, but the device is obviously connected as I'm playing music and can see it within the Sonos app.

I'm out of ideas

Hello @Wrnhfx, welcome back!

I’m sorry to hear you are having issues adding a voice assistant to your Sonos Beam (Gen 2).

You’ve mentioned rebooting your router, have you done the same for your Sonos and your phone? If not, please do so and try once more.

If you are still unable to add a voice assistant to your Sonos system, I suggest you contact our Support team for some live troubleshooting.

They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice specific to your system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.

Hi,  thanks for the reply.  Yes I've tried rebooting everything and tried different devices to add the assistant with no joy.

I will give support a call tomorrow and see how I go on

Where you able to resolve this issue? If yes, can I know what did you do?
