I plan on using one amp and three speakers in my living room. Not three pairs just three speakers.what would be the proper configuration for the third speaker ? 

I just received an ARC and am enjoying it but I have one nagging issue - when I play Spotify through my google TV, or directly through the sonos app, the music is very quiet. If I play it through the Xbox x Spotify app, it’s a good 20-30% louder. Am I missing something? I can just use my Xbox but the google tv is what I use the most.  The Xbox shows up as Dolby digital 5.1, and the other two come up as stereo pcm - could that be why it’s louder on the Xbox? I’m really at a loss.

I just set up a new LG 77 inch C2 Oled with an Arc, Sub (G3) and 2 One SLs, but everything is showing up as Stereo PCM, whether from my Apple TV, Xbox Series X, or PS5.  I’m new to Sonos (and LG), so I apologize if this is a stupid question.  

When listening to amazon music hd within the Sonos s2 app ,. the song may continue playing (since I see the playback occurring in the app) but there is no sound.   This has happened a few times in past week.  Also, at times the payback just completely stops.   Now the interesting. thing is If I use the Amazon Music app and use ‘Alexa cast’ to send it to the same Sonos speakers (stereo pair of fives) it works perfectly.  

I have a kitchen/family room. I have installed 2 ceiling speakers, and have got an amp to power them (I bought both Sonos amp and ceilings speakers new Nov 2022). I also have a gen 1 soundbar and a gen 3 subwoofer.  i want to use all this in 2 ways: Watching TVSoundbar gen 1 connect to TV via optical, and want to use the sub and use the 2 ceiling speakers as surrounds. Listening to musicUse the amp and 2 ceiling speaker along with the sub. (If the soundbar could be used in this set up, this would be great, but not essential) I want to know 1) is this possible? And 2) what way do I go about configuring this setup to work with my 2 use cases.Thanks in advance 😁    

This sounds a bit strange but on SOME programmes we are having to listen to narrative speech...not written sub titles but spoken words throughout...its driving us crazy! 

Cannot get apple airplay to connect with a new sonos 1SL on my M1 Imac 

I recently upgraded some of my old Play:1 speakers to the New Play One and assumed that i could re-use my existing Flexson adjustable speaker Stands.  I was wrong.  New stands supplied by Flexson are universal and they will fit but i don't want to have to buy new stands.  Is anyone aware of anywhere of where i could just obtain the speaker holder/ base that fits to the top of the stem?  I have looked at the instructions for the old one and the new one and they look like they use the same fixing method to the top of the stem. So i believe this is all that is needed.   However i have spoken with Flexson support and they don't supply that bit.  Is any one aware of a solution that allows me to re-use my old stands or aware of any where i can get the speaker holder/base ?

I have a Playbase hooked up to my TV with the optical cable and want to be able to play my turntable through the playbase. I want to clarify my understanding of how things are actually connecting using a Port. • If I get a Port and connect that to the line out from the amplifier how is the output transferred to the Play base? Via the WiFi network that everything is attached to? • How do I select what audio is coming out of the playbase?  • Does the TV need to be on?

Ive got One, Beam and Arc. The One doesnt respond for up to a minute when I ask it to play something. (it says “playing Queen on Apple Music” …. then nothing).  If I pair it with the Beam or the Arc it works perfectly and plays at once.  If I play via the app to the One it works fine.   I have moved to another network (different house ) and its the same.  I have rebootedand updated firmware.  Same.

I am a European citizen and have a Tidal account, which works. After this I moved to Japan, but I am still paying to Tidal with my European payment method. (Please don’t ask whether Tidal works in Japan, of course it works, it is a streaming service over the Internet and Internet is available in Japan. The whole point is that you cannot purchase Tidal subscriptions with a Japanese payment method, that is all, because Tidal does not have a legal representative here.)I can use Tidal without any problems in Japan.But I cannot link it to Sonos - why?I think it is NOT the job of Sonos to check for availability in a country, but Sonos should allow legit account users of Tidal to use Tidal with their Sonos products.We are in the 21st century, people are moving between countries, and it is not up to Sonos to restrict this. If Tidal wants to restrict access to its service from Japan, then they will do it. So please stop playing police without the need for it. Thanks

I use Spotify and Amazon Unlimited as music sources. If i go to their web pages and search for something, say “Rolling Stones” i get lots of results. From the Sonos mac desktop app I get nothing or perhaps 1-2 albums. This happens for Bach, Mozart, and just about any other search. I’m on the latest desktop app. I see the same issue with Amazon Unlimited and Spotify. Any ideas? I spent an hour with Sonos Support who said that Sonos has known problems with music sources and maybe they will fix a bug sometime. Anyone have suggestions? 

I have a strange 1 as in my One SL has decided to stop connecting to my wi-fi after 3 months.wonder if anyone is kind enough to share their ideas - I am at a standstill.in no particular order :all my other devices can still connect to my wifi network...using same passwordI cant hard word to my router as it only has the one port - to receive although I have unplugged it.I have reset the Solo many times following Sonos requirements - I have enough time with the Sonos to know how to trouble shoot - reset and configure.in short I can get all the way through the set up = bluetooth connecting - audio confirmation and selecting my network - however when I enter the correct password the Solo won't accept the password and gives me an exclaimation mark reject.I can connect via Apple air but I want to use the Sonos ( latest version) app.I have tried connecting using n android devoice with the same resultsa grateful user awaits any ideas Andy  

I have the Arc + Sub + 2x Ones setup as a surround system. Which is great for TV. But for music I can’t for the life of me work out how to turn off the Arc soundbar so it doesn’t interfere with the stereo presence of the Ones + Sub.I’ve triedsetting Ones to “full” (not “ambient”) setting "Music Level" in "Surround Audio" to be +15But I can stil hear the Arc.Furthermore if I turn up the Ones to +15I have to pump the Sub to +15 AND the Sub still gets lost so I have to boost bass in EQ as well and then it sounds 'off' AND if I don't reset the Sub and bass EQ to 0 each time then the next time someone watches TV (think kids in the morning) the whole house shakes. AND I can still hear the Arc.So that's not workable.How do I get just the Ones in stereo + Sub for music playback? Surely I don't have to disconnect/reconnect the whole surrount system and re-do Trueplay each time I swap between listening to music and TV do I?? Please tell me I’m missing something!Thanks for your help everyone.

Can S1 and S2 compatible equipment be used in the same house using the old app for S1 and the new app for the S2 components?

when i play an amazon unlimited playlist on sonos, Sonos only loads 500 songs even though the playlists may be 600 or more.

hi everyone,  just got my new sonos set up, went full in.  arc, sub, 2 1’s for rear (along with a couple others for house).so far I am loving it, however I cannot seem to figure out how to get atmos (always showing pcm 5.1)I have an 85 inch Sony x900f which has an e-arc input.  what am I doing wrong? Netflix & Prime shows audio as only 5.1 when browsing any title.  Xbox audio settings say “dolby atmos for home theatre (hdmi only)”This might help explain better…..Peaky Blinders on the Netflix app built into tv shows 5.1Peaky blinders on the Netflix xbox app shows atmos ………. why? and how can I fix this? Hi,I’ve seen a similar question with a suggestion of using an hdmi-to-optical adapterthe relevant pages from my tv manual: pg1, pg2, pg3 Are there any downsides to using an hdmi-to-optical adapter? latency issues? sound quality issues? Is there a recommended converter, or anything I should be aware about in the specs or just buy the cheapest converter?Lastly, the need for complex connections got me rethinking the suitability of Ray. The TV in question is in the kitchen and is not used for viewing movies, but only broadcast tv (mostly news). The TV internal speakers seem adequate, and I have a couple of Sonos One SL in the kitchen for music.My plan was to connect the Ray to the TV and move the One SL that is next to the TV to a room that does not have a Sonos speaker. Hi all. Have read so many articles on here but I’m still lost.just picked up my new OLED LG tv (55CS6LA). The tv shows it’s connected to Dolby audio, but upon streaming Winter Soldier (Dolby) on Disney+ it is barely audible on rear speakers (but they are obviously connected) and showing stereo pcm on the app. Doesn’t make any difference whether I stream direct on tv app, or on the fire stick. suggestions much appreciated!!TT

Hi everyone,I’m trying to set up Sonos Voice Control with Deezer, but I’m unable to.Every time I try to search Deezer music via voice control, I get the error that I have to reauthorize my Deezer account in the Sonos app.I have done that multiple times (successfully), but the error does not go away. I’m unable to search Deezer library via voice control.I also tried to remove and add Deezer account altogether, but it didn’t help. I also tried to remove and add again Sonos Voice control.However, when I play the Deezer music manually with the Sonos app, basic voice controls such as “next track” and similar work ok.Thank for your help and I’ll be glad to provide any more info if necessary. 

Hello,I’m about to lose one of the 4 ports on the back of my (BT SmartHub2) Router (it’s the LAN port and I’m about to get FTTP).I note that the Sonos Boost that I have has 2 Ethernet ports. It is currently, of course, hard-wired to one of the ports on the Router.Can I therefore plug another of my devices, that is currently also hardwired into the Router, into the unused port on the Boost and it will act as a switch to route that device’s traffic to/from the Router.

Amazon Music Unlimited has a “play similar music” feature on artists, albums, songs, and playlists within the Amazon Music App, but I can’t seem to find that feature when I go to Browse → Amazon Music within the S2 App.  Does this feature exist in S2?
