I'm at my wit's end here.Every so often I have to restart my WiFi router. When that happens, both my surrounds (SLs) disconnect from the Sonos group and it takes me literally hours to reconnect them.I had to reset the router today and I've spent the last two hours trying to reconnect the surrounds - as yet I've been unable to do this despite reading every guide available.Why on Earth do they lose connection to the group? That's just basic stuff and, in my view, a fundamental flaw in the Sonos ecosystem.Right now, I want to throw the whole system out the window and buy Samsung's top dog system!Surely it shouldn't be this difficult and stressful? Can anyone give me a simple fix to sort this mess out?

Har i en måned oplevet at nyheder ikke virker via Sonos med Google længere. Når jeg siger “nyheder” til min Sonos one, får jeg beskeden “her er de seneste nyheder fra klokken x:” og så efterfulgt af nyheder. Nu får jeg bare “her er de seneste nyheder fra klokken x, det var det hele indtil videre”, uden at der kommer nogen nyheder. Det virker fint direkte via Google Assistant på fx min telefon, så det må være et problem med Sonos. Nogen bud på en løsning?

Hello, sonos beam does connected via the HDMI arc por to a Samsung tv ue55. Tv does not recognizes the Sonos beam. Tried to set up via the Sonos app and the test is failing. It seems the tv cannot recognize the Sonos beam.  I have connected via the optical connection and it is working, I would prefer to do it via the HDMI arc, any help? thanks in advance 

Is it possible to connect a Beam & Playbar in the same room?

I’ve had my Sonos for years. In the last 6-12 months it seems like all of my devices disconnect for no reason and I need to reset everything to get them connected again. I have a sonos 1 and 5 running 14.19. Currently using an Eero mesh router. Driving me crazy and making me consider getting rid of all of my speakers….

Is there a way to use google assistant or alexa rather than Sonos voice. I only have one option to select a voice assistant and it is Sonos own voice assistant. I want to load alexa up or Google assistant? I used to have Google assistant on my Sonos but wanted to change it over to alexa and now I cant load any other assistant. Any info to get it working again

 I have purchased 2 Sonos One SL speakers, My questions are as follows.1:If I purchase a Sonos Port will I have the ability to connect it to my current sound system amp (connected to CD/DVD and television) and be able to “run” the sound from the old amp thru my new Sonos speakers in addition to “old” speakers currently wired to old amp? Question 2: Will I de able to send streamed music through the “old wired “speakers as well as the new Sonos pair?Thanks for your helpA Sonos Newbie😉 

New user here.  I bought a Sonos Arc, Sub, Amp and a pair of Sonance Mag8r for our rear surrounds in a Den/Home Theater setup.  I now learned that the Mag 8r’s do not work with Trueplay.  Am I better off exchanging them for a pair of architectural 6 1/2” speakers and use the 8r’s in the kitchen for stereo speakers.  If I did that, I’m guessing it will work off of the amp using a separate zone for the kitchen? Thanks for the help

Every time I go to play something, I get a different configuration on my Sonos app…speakers that were paired get unhitched, disappear entirely or (my favorite) cannot be seen by the Sonos app even while my wife’s phone is playing on them through Sonos.  To be fair, the tv speakers seem to work fairly well…only the sub-woofer cuts out every now and then.  This is way beyond frustrating.  About every 2-3 months, I decide that I have too much money sunk in hardware to give up and I go around turning everything off and back on.  I suspect that there is something about software updates that trashes local data, but all I get out of the “tech support” is that I can reboot.  Thanks, geniuses.Has anyone had any better luck?  

I had to unplug my play bar for about a week. When I hooked it back up I can stream iTunes but it will not give me tv audio. I check my tv settings and they are set to the Sonos. I have never had problems before. I checked all my connections, they appear secure. When I use the remote the indicator white light comes on the play bar when I volume down but it does not respond when I volume up. The TV volume bar shows the volume up is working, when I switch to tv speakers the TV plays audio correctly. Any ideas?

I have surround sound (not Sonos) wired into my amp. My tv Samsung QLED is connected via HDMI ARC port to Amp. Sound is working fine w tv along both remote controls for volume (Comcast TV/Samsung remote). My question is, why can’t I toggle the sound from my surround sound to my TV output?? When I changed it on my tv, it goes back to surround sound after a few seconds. Sometimes we don’t want surround sound on.. any help would he appreciated

Hi.I have recently had to move my router due to (minor) building work which is now complete. The new router location is permanent. As a result of this situation I can no longer listen to sound from my Sonos setup and have to rely on the TV speakers which, obviously, is inferior! My Arc is connected to my network but the Arc, Sub and 2x One SL speakers are separated into 3 separate groups. I have tried unplugging my Sonos products, waiting for a short time and plugging them all back in again and also searching for new products via Bluetooth but with no success. This is what I see on the Sonos app:  Thanks in advance for any help 🍻 

Hi i just paired my new sonos Roam with android phone but i can't pair google assistant. It does not appear among voice assistants...there is only "Sonos Voice Control".is it available in Italy?  

I have a playlist I have created in Amazon Music which is a bit over 500 tracks long. When I try to play the playlist in Sonos, it will only queue and play the first 500 tracks. When I attempt to queue and play the songs 501  onwards, I can only queue one song at a time. Does Sonos set limits to Amazon Music playlists or to queues? Is there any way around this apart from creating another playlist? Many thanks.

Hi,  I play a nice playlist on the sonos. Then I want to see what the name is of the playlist in the sonos app to be able to relocate it next time. Seems impossible to see the name of the spotify playlist once you play it? What am I missing, seems to me like a basic thing... Please help :-)

I have a Play:1 that cannot pair with my S1 system. I have tried to factory reset and it responds in the correct way ending with a flashing green LED.I can then start the pairing in the S1 controller - the speaker is found and makes the paring sound after pressing Play/Pause + Vol+Then it starts flashing amber for about 20 seconds and then goes to solid amber. It stays there for some minutes during which the Controller times out and says “Not connected”. Eventually the LED goes back to flashing green. I have tried the “alternative setup” using a ethernet cable - same behaviour.Has anyone seen this before and is the a known fix?

I have a 2022 Sonos Arc, Sub, 2x Rear One SL speakers in the TV Area.When grouping the Sonos Five in the kitchen or Sonos One SL in the Bedroom, both these speakers are cutting out.This only happens when listening to sound through the TV. (YouTube, regular TV channels etc).It does not happen when listening to Spotify through the Sonos app. When speaking to Sonos customer service for the 3rd time this week about the issue, the 3rd person has now confirmed it is not possible to play sound from the TV through more than the Arc, Sub and 2x SL rear speakers (5.1 surround set up).Any speakers grouped outside of the 5.1 set up will get this intermittent cutting out. I have even tried Ethernet directly into these speakers from the router. Which I suspect the Sonos Boost will replicate if purchased. Sometimes it can work without issues and sometimes it’s really bad. Hello, I just got my 2 Sonos Move speakers and I have been trying to get Alexa to work on them but no luck so far. As the title suggests both apps of Alexa and Sonos say that it is not available in my country, being The Netherlands. I know that Sonos officials are not permitted to point us in other solutions however if anyone knows of a solution to this one I would gladly listen to them. So far I have been using Google Assistant but I would really prefer if I got Alexa to work on these. Thank you in advance for your help.

Awaiting a Port to arrive and I am wondering if anyone has experience with the port and Meridian gear? I would like to know the following.A will the port accept and fully control its output directly from the music app using airplay 2 without opening the Sonos app. If the answer to A is yes. I have the arc / sub gen 3 and two SL rears /im around 19ft away from the arc.. can I make it louder than the back two SL speakers (surround set up?) what’s the best way to achieve this?

When will the Sonos app start supporting Android better?  I can't add devices on my Samsung Galaxy S20 with the most recent OS and most recent app versions as of 11/2022 but have no problem with the app on an old iPad.  It's very frustrating. 

Hi, I have bought a sonos arc and two sonos one sl speakers. If I listen to spotify with the sonos app it uses all three of them. If i open the spotify app it self or ask Google home to play music it only plays trough the two sonos one's. It ignores the arc. I have tried to remove the spotify account from sonos and installing it again,same for Google assistant. I have also tried to remove spotify from my Phone and installing it again. None of these things worked. Since i want to use Google home and also believe the spotify app is better than the version on the sonos app, only working with the sonos app is no acceptabel solution for me. I couldn't find any other working suggestions on google Anyone knows how to fix this? I hoped that a big expensive brand like sonos have some good integrations with big players like spotify
