iOS app only showing one product at a time

I would like my Sonos One and new Sonos Five to play the same thing at the same time but the Sonos iOS app only recognises one product at a time.

Spotify and other services recognise both and at the same time.

They’re both using the same single WiFi network. There are no extenders and no mesh.

There has only ever been one household and they’ve never been paired (because that’s not possible).

How do I get it to work? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

It sounds like you have created two separate systems.  

Factory reset whichever speaker is currently not visible in the app then go to Settings, System, Add Product and follow the prompts. 

.Do not at any stage select to set up a new system.
