The Sonos Roam is set up in my home WiFi with several other Sonos speakers. Today, I wanted to bring the Sonos Roam to work. First, I paired it to my iPhone using bluetooth. Then I opened the Sonos app to play music. But the app tells me it can’t find any Sonos devices. Why doesn’t it see the Roam paired with bluetooth? Then I tried to add it to the wifi network at the office. The iPhone is connected to the wifi. Now the app tells me it can’t find any  devices in that wifi network but doesn’t let me add the Roam to the network. Finally I did a factory reset on the Roam, now the app found it, but when trying to add it to the wifi network, nothing happens. I use a guest wifi without password, for the first connection, I just had to entery my phone number and it would send me a connect ID. But since my iPhone is already connected to that wifi, I should be able to add the connected Roam as well, shouldn’t I? 

Hi all,  I recently switched out my old pair of Sonos 1 and Playbase for 2 x Era 300 and Beam (Gen 2). I have a sub which I kept. Sadly I didn’t have the width available in my space to buy the Arc.  I was going to use the Era’s as surrounds and they do sound amazing with films (Top Gun especially). However, similar to the other reviews, when listening to music it seemed to not get the full potential of the Eras (as the Beam played the lead speaker role).  I have since moved the Eras into the dining part of the open plan (about 2-3m away) and they sound great! For films I just group the living room and dining room. It’s not perfect but still sounds good and better than Beam alone.  My question is that I find that I have the Eras on far higher volume in the Sonos app to get to ambient sound levels than I did for the Playbase and 2 x Sonos 1. Usually atleast 30+ whereas it used to be 15ish. Then when I want to listen loudly I’m getting to 60+ whereas I don’t think I ever went above 45-50

Purchased Sonos Arc last night and I keep getting the error message Unable to connect to Sonos. Let's fix it. It connects and drops all the time. I have an iPhone 14 and also tried using my iPad as the controller and same issue.  Sonos tech support really couldn’t help me via online chat and to call Monday. Can some shed some light on this issue? Love the sound and don’t want to return. 

 Hi all, (newbie here, so apologies in advance!! :)When I put my ear next to the Sonos Beam (Gen 2), one of the five internal speakers does not seem to be working..It is the fourth speaker from the left.  (the one immediately to the right of the centre speaker)I have tried different sources, Apple TV, Airplay, TV and Blu Ray, and there appears to be no sound coming from this speaker. The other four are fine. (and the surround Play speakers)Is there a way to play a sound or tone through each of the five internal speakers to diagnose this?There is no change when I disconnect the rear surround Play speakers, or whether I have TruePlay tuned or not.Thank you, Ciaran :)  

All of the info online indicates I should be able to see network signal strength (and other details) from the Sonos app. It’s not available in the latest version though. Am I losing my mind?Trying to troubleshoot dropouts and connectivity issues (even with Boost) and not having much luck.Thanks!

Here is the setup: cable tv sending HDMI to a splitter, in turn sending HDMI to projector and sending HDMI arc to a sonos amp . Then on the wall where image is projected I have a Sonos ARC . The ideal situation would be that the ARC would act as front sound bar receiving arc signal from the amp in the back wall. This is because I would like to avoid running a long HMDI cable to the ARC soundbar. Is this possible - have not been able to figure if nor how . Ultimately then the speakers connected to the amp could serve as complement to the ARC system as rear surround speakers . Thanks for any help 

I bought a refurbished Sonos beam gen 1. I set it up but noticed that I can’t seem to airplay to the beam. It shows up in the AirPlay list but I get an error when I try to connect to it.The beam is connected to the network via WiFi. Previously via ethernet and I had the same issue.I’ve rebooted the beam, my router, modem, phone etc.I’ve reset the beam a few times and no luck.I’m on iOS 16.4.1 and the Beam is on 15.3.in my network I also have a HomePod mini that I can AirPlay to successfully. I previously had a Sonos Ray that I could AirPlay too just fine too.Anything else I should try this weekend before reaching out to support next week?

Hello communitymy problem is my Sub Gen 3, either if I am listening music or watching tv, it keeps disconnect for few secondes or minutes,  then it reconnect by itself…. After few minutes, disconnect again… and reconnect by itself.do you know what can cause this?how could I solve this problem?

I have a strange issue: I cannot update my Arc to version 15.3, from version 15.2, I have 2 Era 300 speakers, and a Sub 3rd gen. I have even tried manually but the update fails with error code 6. I have my Arc wired to the router. What should I do? I even tried restarting the Arc but to no avail

No HDMI ARC, or optical output that I can see.  

Hello, I recently bought a Sonos Arc to complete my installation.So now, I have 1 Sonos ARC + 2 HomePods + Apple TV 4K, but It seems when I connect Sonos Arc + HomePod through AirPlay I don’t have Dolby Atmos on my Apple TV 4K.Is it normal ? There is a solution to bypass this error ?Thanks in advance for your help

I purchased a new Era 100, and I hit on skip on the promo when setting up the device. Now I cannot find the promo in the Sonos app. How do I get this promo?

I have 3 speakers… 2 Sonos One SL and 1 Sonos Roam.  I have them set up in a Group.I can tell Alexa to play a Sirius Chanel on the Group and all 3 speakers work.If I try to use an iPhone or a Mac, I can ‘select’  each speaker but only 1 Sonos One SL and the Sonos Roam connect and work.  I get a message  ‘Airplay- Unable to connect to’ the other Sonos One SL (which, as I said, works from from Alexa to the group just fine.) Help! Thanks,Dave

Hi - thank you in advance for your help.  New to this so really looking for the expertise of the group.  We are adding a kitchen addition and covered outdoor deck to our home.  The electrician suggested 2 Sonos ceiling speakers for each area. He also suggested 2 Sonos receivers (I’m guessing he is referring to the amplifiers?). My questions:does this equipment sound correct?  Why would we need 2 receivers? if we purchased just 1 receiver and 4 ceiling speakers, do we have the option of turning the deck ones off if we are not out there? Can we listen to 2 different sources in the 2 different areas at the same time (parents mysic on kitchen, kids music on deck?) can we add additional stand alone Sonos speakers in the future for the living room for example or out in the yard?thank you very much!  Very excited about this 

Can my S1 Playbar be hooked up to a TV as well as be part of a separate wireless group? Right now it is part of a wireless Sonos group that plays line-in input with a stereo pair of two generation 1 Play Fives. I want to keep that functionality but possibly also hook it up to a Sony 4K TV. If this is even possible… What will be involved with switching between the two setups? Thanks in advance. 

what is the best approach to transferrring existing sonos system from dying mac to new windows pc 

Had Sonos since 2015. Great product. We used to play Spotify a lot. No issues until few weeks ago. No matter the category after few songs adverts appear, especially Metallica, and - nothing - system goes on pause. Have cleared cache, rebooted router, no difference. Yes we've always had adverts, including "listen to these and get 30 min advert free", which has disappeared. Don't have this issue if we play music via Sonos Radio. It's only started since Metallica appeared. 

Hello Community,I have the exact same problem as described in the closed topic “iOS app services refreshing/blinking”.I can not use the search function on iOS app. When I search it shows the results but they always flash up and when I select the service to show i.e. all albums it flashes back to the main search. I have the exact same problem on multiple iphones but not on the Sonos Mac app.I tried delete, reboot and reinstall on iphone but without success. I also remove apple music service and put it back in but also no success.Any ideas?

Hi guys!I have a really strange issue with my bedroom set-up. It's an older Philips 32” lcd TV connected to my Sonos Beam soundbar. When watching TV the sound is swaying, it sound like an old VHS tape that changes speed, it's especially noticable when there is music during film tv-shows. At first it was a bit of an nostalgic feeling, but lately I've gone tired of it 😂 Does anyone else experienced this issuez and have a solution?

I just bought a HIsense 50A6BGTUK  TV. The Sonos Ray will not recognise my new TVs remote, I have tried several times setting up in the Sonos app. Just not recognised. It worked perfectly with old model Hisense TV I had previosuly, very friustrating...

For our 2nd restaurant, per many recommendations for stability, we’ve run CAT6 to all our SONOS one-SL speakers from our Cisco router/switch. We’ve connected our 2 amps to the Cisco router/switch and passive speaker wire to our Sonance ceiling and outdoor pairs.AND, we can’t get the SONOS app to recognize the system. Any help would be so much appreciated! 9 SONOS ONE-SLs1 SONOS AMP---pair of Sonance Ceiling Speakers1 SONOS AMP---pair of Sonance Outdoor Speakers  

I am adding 2 Era 300 speakers (replacing 2 One SL) to an existing Arc soundbar and Sub Gen 3. Do I have to re-run True Play after connecting the 2 Era speakers?Thank you.

HelloI have a Connect, was fine a few months ago but has been off for a while. Turned it back on, just flashes white light slowly (around 10 secs on, 20 secs off). Tried factory reset, plugging into router.  Nothing changes.Is it a lost cause?
