I’ve asked this before but did not get anywhere…This problem used to NOT be a problem. Everything worked as expected.  This problem just started recently and there were no equipment changes.I have 2 Sonos SL One’s and 1 Roam.  All 3 are grouped.  When I use Alexa and tell her to play a Sirius channel on the group,  it works. All 3 speakers work fine.When I use an iPhone with iOs 16.4 and select AirPlay for playing track, I get a list that shows the phone and the 3 speakers (but not the group). I used to be able to select each of the 3 speakers, they would connect and start playing.  Now, I can select all 3 but only 2 connect. I get a message saying it cannot connect to the other speaker. I’m upgrading to iOs 16.5 but don’t expect any change. Again, this all used to work fine but not now.??????Thanks,Dave

Hi all. I’m setting up my sonance garden series 8.1 and I’m not getting any signal when I plug in the sonance sr2-125 amp (which is also connected to my sonos port).  When I connect the system to my Sonos Amp from my house system it all works fine. Any ideas of why I’m not getting signal on the sonance Amp? Thanks 🤙🏼

Good day, I would like to ask when voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant will be supported in Panama. I bought the product at an official store in Panama and was excited to use the built-in Google Assistant, but it's not currently available.Sonos Voice control is incredible, and I would prefer to use it. However, it says that it's not supported for YouTube Music. 

Hi community.I bought a new era300, and would like to upgrade the compatible devices (playbar and play 1) from my existing S1 wired setup, to a wireless S2 network.(I have other devices I understand are only compatible with S1 - 2x connect bridges and Gen 1 play 5 - but I’ll worry about them later!)I have successfully switched to wireless, and I see my playbar and play1 are WM1.But upgrading the OS to S2 has me beat! The error msg is 1101, and trying all the troubleshooting (rebooting router and devices, moving close to the router etc) doesn’t help.The device status is ‘incompatible’, and clicking into these the message suggests “an Ethernet cable connected to your router is required to allow wifi to be disabled”. I have tried connecting the device to the router via Ethernet … but that doesn’t work (and kinda doesn’t make sense, given I understand the system to be now wireless, correctly connected to my wifi, with the device system setting as WM1… wireless.)So I’m stuck at not being ab

Hello!   I am at the end of my trial period for a pair of Era 300s.  In a nut shell I really like them (using Apple Music). BUT I am getting ear fatigue as I think it’s due to the pair competing with each other. And I cannot get the imaging to balance out. What I mean is the only way to experience a center stage for vocals is sitting dead center between the pair, just like old school audiophile days. However, I tend to sit on either end of my living room sofa. I’ve done Trueplay multiple times, as well as place the speakers in different parts of the room. Note, I have high ceilings on half of the living room. And I’ve placed the speakers about 7 feet apart at an angle to the sofa, in order for both speaker to have the same ceiling height (You can see two pictures where I’ve experimented with speaker placement). I’ve spoken with Sonos support several times, and they’ve mainly stated Sonos removed the L/R Balance adjustment on Era 300s because of Spatial Audio. :(  They didn’t offer much

Hi Everyone.I have 2 Sonos devices, which are a Sonos Beam (2nd Gen) and 1 ERA 300.I know that I´m not able to make surround effect by now, but I have a few questions:Which is the best configuration for this 2 devices when working together? I was able to control my sonos beam with my Samsung Q80A remote controller, but now, ERA 300 is not responding when I turn up/down the volume, only beam is responding.. any way I can control both devices volume? Which is the best configuration of parameters for each device? I cannot add ERA 300 to Homekit, do you know how can I do that?Thanks a lotReally appreciate your help! 

Hi everyone and thank you in advance. I bought a sonos move and would like to set it up but my WiFi needs 2 different passwords in order to accept new devices. Sonos sadly only let's me put in one password so I can't connect my new device with the WiFi. Any way around that or a different kind of solution?

Can i use a pair of Fives instead of Arc for my home theatre set up? Will i then be able to listen to Music in 2.1 & movies in 5.1 when desired?

My bf and I have separate homes each with a Sonos system.Sometimes when he’s at his place he mistakenly plays his spotify on my sonos (we’re not sharing wifi… so i guess the only connection is via his phone network). How is this possible ?And more importantly how can I stop it…

Hello. I am looking to add to my home cinema set up and keen to get some advice from the Sonos community. I currently have a Sonos Arc and was thinking about adding a sub and x2 Era 300 speakers in addition. I was thinking about locating the x2 Era speakers either side of the Arc approx 1 metre distance on side boards, in a front left and right configuration and the sub on the floor adjacent. Has anyone configured / set up in this way please and if so what is your experience of the sound quality? Thank you in advance.

When using Alexa as my voice service for ERA 300 I am unable to play Amazon Music with any voice command. Alexa responds to me with “Hmmm.. to do that first enable the skill for your Sonos ERA 300 in the Alexa app then ask me to discover devices”. I never had to do this with my Sonos Arc. When I go to the Amazon Alexa app on my phone I only see 1 available Sonos skill and it is already enabled. I tried removing all music services and voice services from the Sonos app and then re-added just Alexa as voice service and just Amazon Music as music service but that did not work. If I use Sonos Voice it is able to play from Amazon Music but is unable to recognize any of my Amazon Music playlist. This is really annoying since a big part of my decision to buy ERA 300 over Sonos 5 is its voice service integration! 

I had made a post months ago on my sub disconnecting from my system and not being able to get it back but I ended up resolving that via leaving it unplugged overnight and it connected fine the next day. It seems to have been fine since but then last night I noticed I wasn’t getting any bass so I looked at the sub and it was flashing white. So I did the whole remove and readd and it claimed it was readded and working in the app however the sub was flashing green and when I played music or TV there was no bass. Now the REAL kicker here is when I turn the sub off in the app, I get bass out of it but the bass is low?I get no difference in bass response when adjusting the slider when on or off but I get bass when off vs on.I tried unplugging the back speakers & just leaving the Arc connected via ethernet but made no difference. Any ideas?

If I add 6 sonos architectural speakers to one amp will they each get enough power?   Or will this compromise the output of each?

Hey all!  I am upgrading my Beam Gen 1 to the Arc and got the Sonos One speakers ~1.5 years ago and was curious if Dolby Atmos sound will still play even though I have Sonos One speakers as my surround speakers?? 

Hi, we just moved into a new house that has pre-wire for up to 5 in-ceiling speakers. This is a typical setup of 3 in the front and 2 in the back just behind listening position.I am trying to design a system that uses 2 dedicated in-ceiling speakers for atmos and 2 more for rear surround and use a sound bar for center, i will be adding a sub for this well.The issue i’m having is trying to designate Atmos channels for a sonos setup, as my ceilings are high in the front (around 14-16 feet). Here are a few setups i have considered: Setup-1:Use the Arc (or even the beam) for center and use a amp for all 4 or 5 in-ceiling speakers (given the ohms are right) and add the subThis is probably the easiest to setup but im basically designating all my in-ceiling speakers as surround and having a couple in front and couple behind the seating position might not sound ideal for surround. And Arc might be by only atmos here which is not great cause i have very high ceilings. Or am i over thinking this

I purchased 8 Sonos speakers approximately 6 months ago (9/22) and I have the latest version of the Xfinity router with a very strong Wi-Fi signal for both the 5G and 2.4ghz bands. My router is no more then 20ft away from all 8 speakers. At first the connectivity problem was negligible but now (3/23) all 8 speakers are constantly and continuously dropping off and reconnecting all day long every day. I have worked with Sonos technical support but with no success. My connectivity issues actually worsened after contacting them on ( 3-2-23) My router doesn’t allow me to pick a channel on the 2.4ghz band (it stays on 1). Would purchasing a different router help? I am regretting my purchase and any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have five Play:1 speakers, 2 Play:5, 1 Beam, and 1 Sub. A circuit shorted and tripped the circuit breaker (CB) in the electric panel. A Play:1 and Sub were connected the circuit. After correcting the problem I reset the CB, returned to the room and P:1 and Sub were off, I cannot get them to restart. Does Sonos equipment have internal fuses? Is there a restart protocol that I am missing?

Wife and I both have Sonos2 app on iPhones. She starts up app and plays music on system. I start my app after session is going and it won’t sync to what’s being played. I can’t control speakers, pause music, etc. I can change names of speakers and update software for them, etc. Just can’t get to what’s playing now.  

I connected my Era 100 to my Samsung TV using Bluetooth.  It worked fine for about a fortnight but now there is only silence.  The TV indicates that it thinks it is outputting audio to the Era and the Era is is indicating that it is Bluetooth connected but there is no sound.  The Sonos App indicates that the volume on the speaker is at max.  I have tried rebooting both the TV and the speaker and also re-pairing but no sound is heard.  As it used to work any suggestions for why it is no longer working?

Is it possible to have a single Era 300 speaker as a Surround Rear and simulate the left and right channels? Would be nice to have the option, especially considering the price and also space limitations ...

HiI am about to buy a Roam or Roam SL but have read about severe battery drainage on the Roam with microphone. These posts are 2 years old.It will be used primarily outside (I don´t know if Automatic Trueplay only works within walls)  and Google Assistant will not be used.Will the Roam drain battery quicker than the SL with the microphone turned off?

Hi, appears this is a common one so apologies in advance.The bass has started distorting sometimes on my One, it's not always and not necessarily on high bass music(I mostly listen to Indie/Rock/Alternative so punchy drums and bass guitar) Its been set to 90% max from the day we bought it, to protect it) and always been setup with Trueplay, then bass and treble turned up to 5 & 7 respectively.I’ve done the usual reset and redo true play but it still does it…...is the speaker dead? If there are any Sonos tech people reading, I submitted diagnostics a few minutes after it did it quite bad recently, ref 566694998, if it helps.Thanks in advance, Mark

I’ve been noticing lately on my fileserver failed SMB access attempts which I’ve tracked down to two of my Sonos Play:1 speakers.Warning     SMB    Deny SMB1 host (security limitation).    Failed to log inI solely use S2 and the online documentation indicates that Play:1 is supported.https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/sonos-s2-compatibilityWhy are these speakers still attempting to connect with SMBv1? Do they try v1 and if that fails, try v2, etc?I tried removing all music library shared folders from the S2 application and re-added them; still happening. Dialogue sync doesnt work,“fights with the TV speaker”alexa “can’t turn off” the TV. It’s the whole point of getting this speaker over any other fine quality speaker.doesnt generate enough volume. (when connected to tv and you;re playing content from a computer.cant use the S2 app for “all” features from the computer, need to do some from a phone… sorry, but that's ridiculous.The Beam is a failure. I want my money back or have it replaced with another product.Dont buy this product.
