I have the original soundbar and it has the sub plugged into it. Was working fine LONG after upgrading a ton of stuff to S2. Suddenly no sound on the TV, no sub at all, and the horrible software is telling me the device is incompatible and gives me an upgrade link that goes to the website to buy a replacement. Yet the website says the device is compatible with S2.

When you say the ‘original soundbar’, do you mean the PLAYBAR?

All S2 compatible Sonos products are listed here on this support page:

It includes the Sonos Playbar.


You might be better off calling Sonos.
