If i play on max volume on my Move sometimes its like 80% of the volume. But then after a while it will just add the 20% out of nowhere and then later it can diss appear again. Can anyone explain this and know a fix for it?

Hey! I'm having trouble with my sound system. I have the Arc soundbar and a big subwoofer, and recently added an Era-100 speaker in my kitchen. I'm experiencing cutouts when playing sound from my TV to the Era-100 (the problem only appears when I use the system through the TV and only on the era100 device, because when I use it through AirPlay or the Sonos app I don't have cutting problems in the sound). I haven't had any issues before (the problem is only in the era100 the other devices continue to sound without problems). The Era-100 is about 14 feet away from the other devices, and there are no walls between them. I've tried resetting my modem and reconfiguring the Era-100, but nothing has worked so far. This issue only occurs when the sound comes from my Hisense U8H TV. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?  

A strange one - perhaps?I bought a used CD from Ebay recently - but when downloaded on iTunes and transferred to Sonos system the audio playback was poor quality.So I cleaned the disc with Isopropyl alcohol and tried again - same poor sound.I then acquired a second copy of the same CD from a different seller and repeated the download etc. - same result.The chances of both discs being iffy must be slim I would have thought ?When played on my “boom box” retreived from a cupboard the album reproduction was fine.Any thoughts ? 

Hi, I am considering getting a pair of era 300s to use with my Arc and Sub gen 3. Is it possible to use them as part of home theater and then easily (through the app) use them as stand-alone spatial stereo pair without the other sonos equipment. This is to get the full capabilities of the era 300s without the Arc and sub support. Or do I have to remove them from the home theater, retune and do all that again to use with home theater again?

Hi,If I use a MacBook Pro or Air M1 or M2 can I use AirPlay to stream Apple music in lossless to my Sonos system?

All I have ever wanted to do was get our 3000 uploaded and downloaded songs out of ITunes and in a format where my wife could simply create a playlist and play it on one app. I bought Sonos to do that. Sonos has some great qualities but it is only a controller. I bought My Cloud by Western Digital which got my music out of iTunes but, lacks some things to make smooth transition. I bought Sonos Roam for on vacation playing and couldn’t access Sonos playlist. We bought a new car with Apple Car Play, can’t access playlist because Sonos doesn’t interact with it. She really hasn’t made the switch to just streaming she wants to be able to use our existing library plus add a few downloads here and there. Anybody else having these issues or found solutions?

Hello,Is there a way to refresh/reload the library shown in On this device > Tracks ?  In my library 4 tracks are shown on the top of the list which shouldn't be there based on the alfabetical order. The metadata had a space in front of the title so i corrected that, in my other musicplayer it's corrected  but the Sonos app still shows these on top. I already re-installed the app assuming it would relfresh the library but they’re still there.See this printscreen: The list should start at “We're not Programs... In Mediamonky it's shown alright (slightly rearranged but that's problaby just how this app orders: 

Sonos One not turning on

I currently have 2 speakers (a stereo pair) connected to my Sonos Amp. I’d like to add another speaker (just one) to the Amp but have it be mono (ie, play both left and right channels combined). Is it possible to connect 3 speakers to the Amp but have 2 of them be stereo and 1 be mono? My fingers are crossed that there’s a clever way to do this. Thanks.

As i understand it the sonos boost no longer works with the newer speakers?

Hi,i have a nice surround system with an arc, sub and 2 one sl.now I have taken the two ones to a vacation house. And I cannot activate my “room” because the arc and sub are missing. Yes I know they are still at home 😬How can I get sound to my 2 one’s? 😀

I recently had all my components moved to a closet downstairs to a large rack.  Part of this project was for the A/V company to connect my outdoor 4.1 speaker system to the units to be able to control with my Control4 remote.  They could not get the system to work and told me I had to replace.  I get it, it is 20 years old.  Their quote for a new system was too rich for me, so I purchased the 6.1 Garden Series from BB.  The A/V company told me there no way the Sonos Amp will be powerful enough to drive the sub and 6 sats.  Have others that have this system ended up driving the speakers with an amp other than the one that comes with the system?  They wanted to sell me an Episode EA-AMP-HYB-2D-2000 for $1,762 to drive the Sonance Patio Series 4.1 system.

Hello, I have an S1 system and am trying to add a sonos connect to my system. I am able to power on, update, and connect. I’m also able to see the zone and play audio. However, no audio comes from the line out. I have troubleshot the system and determined what is no line out audio. The line out is set to variable. I have tried this with a second S1 connect and get the same result. I have changed the RCA patch cord and connected the amplifier to another Sonos zone and it works also. Why is this S1 connect not playing any audio?

I wanted to use the so os assistant, but when I ask it to play music it tells me I need to subscribe to a service. I have a YouTube music subscription and a spotify account added. But when I try to set either as the default service for the assistant, the app shows not compatible. How can that be? Anyone knows why this could be? Help appreciated :)  

So satellite service provider has forced us to update our receivers, Arris 830s, and we have had various problems one that I find really strange, no sound on the Golf channel.Every other channel is just fine and the Golf channel was fine on our previous Arris 630 boxes.Setup is a Sony XBR65X800H, Sonos Beam and 2 Play 1s fed by HDMI and all ethernet connected.I would appreciate any suggestions on how the solve the problem.thanks

Hi, I have a Sonos Move and 2 Sonos 1s around the house with Alexa which has been working fine for ages. Now when a say ‘Alexa, play BBCRadio 2’ she repeats the command but doesn’t turn it on. I have to use the App to start BBC Radio 2. When I say ‘Alexa, Stop’, the volume dips for my command but continues to play. I have to use the App to stop. I’ve turned the power off on 3 devices and restarted but it’s not fixed the problem! Help please….?

I have tried out both iOS phone and PC to add on Spotify playing on SONOS app. Its not work and unable to find the services as community provide the way how to add on.Tried restart both spotify and SONOS apps, it does not help and solve the issue. Please help and advise on this issue how to resolve it.Appreciate all members and kind advice.

When I play music via Beam I need tu turn the TV on otherwise I cannot play music. Also when I ask Google to play music from YouTube music the Beam responds but does not play music unless I have the TV one. Is there a setting so I don't have to have the TV on to listen to music?

Hello all, I recently bought a pair of ERA 100s, and a sub mini for a living room set up. The initial set up worked fine, but afterwards I was continually getting the “cannot find your Sonos system” message in the app.So randomly, it will show up sometimes when I open the app, and more often than not, I’ll open the app and it won’t find the system anymore. I tried looking around the internet and and this is what I’ve gathered. I’m on TELUS in Canada using their Telus Wifi Hub (looks like white trash can) made by Arcadyan. I believe it’s a modem/router combination device. I’m positive from what I’ve read online that this device may be the root of the issues but I honestly just don’t know. Here’s some information about my home.-I do not have a mesh network, or any other routers. I only use the Telus hub.-I do have a basic network switch connected to my router that is used for 1 room to hook up multiple devices. (It’s a NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308))-I am not in

Reset my network and now my surround sounds are in a different room to my arc and sub. I’ve tried removing them and readding them then I lost them altogether 

Hi everyone, I’ve got a Move which doesn’t appear to be turning on or charging over USB-C as the battery indicator and main status light aren’t lighting up. Unfortunately I don’t have the dock as it’s a 2nd hand unit. I’ve tried 2 power supplies which should be able to provide the power it needs (65W laptop charger and a 90W charger from a Philips 346B1C PC monitor, the monitor can provide 12 V/3 A and 15 V/3 A which meet the Move’s spec).To try and diagnose where the problem is, does anyone know:Can the Move operate without the battery if it’s plugged into power? Can I run diagnostics over the USB port? Is there a way to check the battery level (including with a multi meter)?I’d also be interested to know if there are other steps I can take to diagnose and (hopefully) fix the problem. Thanks in advance
