I bought the Ikea Symfonisk bookshelf speaker a year ago and have had nothing but problems.    It has truly turned me off from buying any Sonos products in the future. It will connect sporadically to Wifi using the SONOS app.   Once it connects, if the power happens to go off it will not reconnect to Wifi despite me resetting the entire unit and reinstalling and resetting the Sonos app.  I have even tried connecting using Ethernet cable - no change.   I always thought Sonos was a high-end reliable brand.  How can they put these substandard products in the market?  I have tried contacting Sonos support multiple times but they have been of zero help.   Has anyone had the same issue with this product and successfully resolve it? Thanks 

I’ve had a Sub Mini for a couple of months connected to Beam Gen 1. Been very pleased with the extra oomph. This week there was some kind of glitch with the Wi-Fi - my work laptop disconnected unexpectedly and Windows showed the globe symbol rather than the ‘curvy line’ connected to Wi-Fi symbol. I managed to connect the laptop to the Wi-Fi after a few minutes. The next day I noticed not all Sonos speakers were showing in the app and it was inconsistent, some speakers appearing/disappearing as I watched! I eventually decided to turn off the router and speakers, then turn them on one by one once router was back up and running. This solved the problem and all speakers consistently show in the app but ever since there has been a relatively quiet pop/crackle emitting from the Sub Mini when it is idle ie. TV on but no sound pushing through it - when perusing Netflix menu for example.As soon as we start a movie the Sub mini functions as normal. When we pause the movie the noise starts again

I have one playbar, and 02 of each play1, play3 and play5.  All products first generations except for palybar3.  not one speaker is connecting.  I ve probably made things worse by rebooting all speakers to factory settings.  any advice?

HiI have an issue in my Sonos setup - I can browse Spotify music in my iPad app, but I can’t browse Spotify in my iOS app.In the iPhone app, I can start music from Spotify if playlists are favorites or recently played. But I can’t see content of lists and I can’t seach music in my iPhone. Ipad and Iphone devices are connected to same network, same version Sonos app.What is causing this? We’re having a weird problem with Calm in Sonos (IOS and Windows). Many areas of Calm are working fine, and all of them work fine via Calm’s site and app. But certain areas are broken with “Unable To Browse Music” in Sonos.Here are a few specific examples:Meditate - Kids - Cap’n Dreambeard (both of them)Meditate - Kids - Balloon BreathMeditate - By Guest Instructors - Deep RestMeanwhile, these seem to work fine:Meditate - Kids - Mindfulness with MalikaMeditate - By Guest Instructors - How to MeditateThis never seems to happen if there is not a third nested folder, all those seem to work. If there is a third, it seems to be randomly broken. It was actually easier to find broken ones than working ones when there’s a third nested folder.Does anyone else have Calm set up, and can confirm if this problem is just for me, or happening to everyone?Thanks!

I have tested with Dolby Labs > Functional Testing Album > Atmos 7.1.4 Track on Apple Music and the Arc side speakers outputs Left and Right channels respectively when paired with the OneSLs. What does the Arc side speakers output with 300s? Thank you.

Hello! I have my own Airsonic docker music server I use to stream to my phone and listen at home or work and the Sonos app has Airsonic listed but when I try to add it, I only get “Check your network connection” with Try again or Not now. This is via Android app or Windows app. I do not have any ports blocked on the local LAN and I can connect internally and externally to Airsonic. Can you recommend what I could look at to figure out the issue?

I’ve historically used the S1 app on my iPhone to control my system. I’ve recently bought 2 x new Era 300’s (to replace 2 x Sonos One’s), which I understand only run on the S2 app, so I need to know which products on my whole system I’d need to upgrade for them to work on the S2 app. I have an old Playbar and Sub (Gen 1?) connected to my TV, which is the area I’m looking to use the Era 300’s with. Any help would be appreciated.

On my dual band router all of my Sonos speakers are connected to the 2.4 gigahertz channel. If I'm logged in through the 5 gigahertz channel on my phone I cannot see my speakers through the Sonos app. On my previous modem it didn't matter which Channel I logged into. The Wi-Fi Channel shouldn't matter as long as the item is connected to my router one way or the other. For some reason that is not working on my new router. Any suggestions or settings I need to change in my router?

Hi, we have recently installed Sonos connect across our house.  Decided to go with Sonos 1 used units as the cost was 1/5 of new.  It works like a charm so very pleased to-date. We are about to venture into the garden, and we have a pair of Sonance Mariner 86 speakers - already purchased. 2 Questions pls:Do we need to run speaker cable from the house?  Or should we try and locate an amp outside somehow?  Not sure about frost resistance… We have two patios in our garden, and 1 pair of speakers.  Would we be best splitting these (1 speaker each), or install on 1 patio only… Thoughts and advice much appreciated.Steve 

Hi, I have a studio downstairs that I rent out and would like to connect a Sonos One to the guest wifinetwork that I use for the studio. It is on the same router, but has a different name and password.So far I have managed to get out of the Sonos app via app reset. My phone is on the guestnetwork. I add the Sonos box (I do see all Sonos boxes in the house still thought) and all seems to go fine till the last step when I get a message that the system is not able to connect to the wifi.Anyone suggestions?

Hello, I have several Sonos speakers throughout the house including a Sonos Move and Sonos Roam. For some reason the Sonos Roam continually disconnects from the System. I can add it back by resetting the Roam but since this happens every couple of days I am assuming there is something wrong. Is this a known issue?  I have a very strong Network and have no other issues with Sonos products (including the Move). Thanks. 

I think the title says it all, the Epson has a BT facility and I would like to connect to the Play 5 gen 1 via BT, can it be done?I have this set up in my garden room gym, I have ATV HDR10 for running Zwift (cycling app) through the projector and only use the Sonos for playing music via my Iphone to the Sonos play 5. With the play offs looming I would like to watch the match on the projector and hopefully have the audio via the Sonos play 5. I did a search on the projector for BT devices and nothing showed, is there a method for putting the sonos into pairing mode?The Sonos is second hand and a few years old but work perfectly and good enough for what I need. If all else fails I can watch the match via the projector and have the commentary via the radio😁

hi, i have the sonos beam gen 2 and i would like to buy the sub mini and connect it to the soundbar, but i would also like to buy a sonos one with which i would listen to music, is it possible to share the sub with the two devices without having to unpair the sub mini every time? I don't care about the surround effect, I want 1 Sonos one, and used it with sub mini but also with beam 2, it is possible?

I set up my Roam via my Sonos system + home wifi but I am a landscaper and toss it in my bag daily and I would say one out of every 10 days it actually works. It is a NIGHTMARE product.Has anyone figured out how to keep it paired to your iphone? I usually can’t re-pair it unless I’m on the homeowners wifi, and even then it sometimes doesn’t work. I also shouldn’t be asking strangers for wifi passwords to play music for our team. It’s insane. Often when it’s paired and playing, it will just drop suddenly and not reconnect for the rest of the day - and no it’s not dead.  Anyway, I’ve learned that I have to re-pair it to my phone in the AM before I leave for work EVERY MORNING and carry it into gas stations, nurseries, etc (keep it on my person essentially) in order for it to not disconnect because if it loses the pairing, we don’t have music for the whole day.☠️  

Hello,Just signed up to Tidal and I’m trying to play music on my Gen Beam 2.I can use the Tidal app on my iPhone and then redirect the audio to the Gen 2 speaker, this works fine.However, if I use the Sonos app and select a track from Tidal I get an error message saying ‘Unable to join queue’.Any ideas what I’m doing wrong? Is it something to do with my WI-FI set up? I have the Amazon Eero devices so I suppose my phone could be connected to a different Eero device compared to the Gen. I have audio quality in the Tidal App set to Hi-Fi for both streaming and download. My Wi-Fi is Virgin Fibre with 81 MBPS download.Something I’m not entirely clear on is whether or not my Gen 2 plays back at Hi-Fi quality if I use the Tidal app on my iPhone and redirect the audio to the Gen 2. Isn’t this using Airplay, which can’t support hi fidelity audio?This was my understanding with Apple music at least.Any help appreciated.Thanks,James

I have a turntable and cd player feeding into an amplifier attached to a Connect module. The app indicates that music is being played but there is no sound. Can anyone suggest why this is happening?

I have one Eero Pro 6 router which is wired to my modem (Arris).My home theater is Sonos Arc + Sub Mini + 2 Era 100; the Arc connects wirelessly to my Eero router; the other speakers, I assume, connect wirelessly through the Arc.In the Eero app, only the Sonos Arc shows as online; the other three speakers only show as “Recently online” — they briefly showed up in the Eero app as “new device” when I plugged in the Sub Mini and the two Era 100s, but shortly after, Eero “demoted” them to “recently online” — even BEFORE I added them to my Arc as home theater setup.I don’t understand why they don’t show as online in the Eero app.FYI: I used to have two Sonos Play 1 connected to my Arc until recently. Both Play 1s showed up in the Eero app as online. Before I upgraded to the Era 100s, I removed the Play 1s from my Arc home theater setup and then unplugged them to replace them with the Era 100s.Not sure what’s going on with my setup — any ideas/thoughts?FWIW: Surround sound is working when wa

Im using an arc for the tv, four in ceiling speakers for surround to an amp and would like to have a in ceiling sub connected possibly into another amp, is this possible, haven't tried to set it up yet, i know when you use your amp for surround you can't use your own sub but if I put another amp in the system could this work

Hello, I already have one Sonos Amp (located indoors) powering the outdoor Sonos Speakers on my deck.  Now I am interested in having a separate Sonos Amp connected to different outdoor Sonos Speakers by my outdoor pool.  So I have two questions -(1) Can I have two separate Sonos Amps on the same Wifi network, and use them independently?(2) Is it OK to have a Sonos Amp outdoors if I store it in some type of sealed enclosure?   Thank you.

I have Xiaomi P1 but the audio dont match it looks only on the ps5, I have the option to put the sound passthrough instead of automatic but I dont know if that option is removing the potencial the arc have or if there is another solution.
