is it possible to handover the music I'm currently playing in Apple music, to play over Sonos instead?

Hi everyone. If I’m listing to Apple Music on my phone (not through Sonos), can I then go to Apple Music on Sonos and make it take over?

I think with Spotify it asks you. But I can’t seem to find it with Apple Music.

i don’t want to just stream through airplay because I hate it when I open Facebook for example and a video stops my music playback.

Thanks in advance. Ben

If you don’t want to use AirPlay, then you would have to go into the Sonos app and search for the current song/album that’s playing and restart it from Apple Music using the Sonos app.

Thanks, that’s what I thought. Would be great if possible for this to be developed. If you’ve been listening to a playlist for sometime you will end up listening to the same songs if you then set that playlist to play using Sonos.

like I say, I’m pretty sure Spotify already does this.

Thanks, anyway. Ben
