Sometimes when I start playing something (doesn’t matter the app) on my AppleTV, through my LG G2, to my Sonos ARC with a sub and 2 Play:1s attached as surrounds, the audio comes through as stereo. Sometimes it comes out where the front speakers are muted entirely and I can’t hear voices, only the background music. When I restart the stream, the audio works as surround eventually. Sometimes I have to restart it a few times.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

It’s hard to tell from the description if the issue is with the Apple TV, the LG, or the Sonos.
I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
