Why keeps my Sub G1 from connecting?

My subscription keeps abruptly terminating.

as in it turns off briefly before turning back on. If I halt it and restart it, it always starts. When I play it at medium to low volumes, it seems to do it more frequently.

Any thoughts?

I’d think, if your Sub is disconnecting regularly from its bonded device, whatever that may be, it would likely be one of two things. Either wifi interference , particularly, but not necessarily in the 5Ghz range, or possibly an issue with duplicate IP addresses. For the latter, try unplugging all Sonos devices from power, then reboot your router. Wait two minutes, then plug back in your Sonos devices.

For a more concrete assessment, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
