Hi - I am at a loss on how to connect the above products.My Epson LS800 UST has 2 HMDI ports. HDMI1 and HDMI2 (ARC) (It also has a HDMI 3 for Gaming, but that's not part of this concern.My Denon AVR - X2800 as the usual HDMI port plus one HDMI (ARC) port.The SONOS Soundbar ARC has a HDMI ARC port.The Cable Box has one HDMI1 port.I am currently configuring connections as follows:Epson LS800 HDMI2 (ARC) to the Denon HDMI (Arc)Epson LS800 HDMI1 to the cable box (HDMI1)So.. Where do I connect the SONOS HDMI Arc port?(I have previously connected the SONOS to the EpsonLS800 UST HDMI (Arc) port and that works fine (for sound from Sonos). But then I have an available HDMI (ARC) port on the Denon and no available HDMI (ARC) port on the EPSON (since SONOS is connected there) If I then connect the EPSON HDMI 1 port to the Denon HDM1 (cable/sat) port where do I connect the HDMI1 port from the cable Box?

I’m registering for the first time to my Sonos on the app and it won’t let me, I can hear music with airplay and everything else but I can’t register my speaker to the app so I get to use the voice control, etc. 

Hello to all, After reading SonoS suggestions I have placed the Sub mini just below the Beam (on the floor against the wall) and both are in the exact TV mid and facing the viewer.The “holes” of the Sub mini are parallel to the wall.This because I think that if I place the “holes” perpendicular, the sound coming from the hole against the wall, will bounce on the wall instead of being free.Have I done well ?even though SonoS reports there is no difference on having the hole facing the viewer or less. The rear ERA300 are placed just above the couch (that s against the wall) , facing the TV , at an ear viewer height and at a distance of 1,5m.But having in this position, the viewer has the sound coming directly from the left (of the right speaker) and the right (of the left speaker )drivers only.The up firing drivers send the sound to the ceiling while the other 2 side drivers send the sound on the left and right zone of the room (my side walls are more or less 2,5m far from the viewer. An

How do I turn autoplay off? I thought there was an option at one time, but can’t find it now. Sometimes I don’t want the TV to play anything but its own speaker, but turning on the TV engages autoplay for the Sonos system. I want to disable that on ocassion.

I have Sonos in 2 properties. Property 1 has older items, so uses the old version of app. Property 2 has newer items so uses the newer app. Property 1 has a NAS drive connected to router, for my music. How can (is it possible?) I access this property 1 music source from property 2, so I do not have to copy music onto a second different NAS drive?thanks for any help.Ian

I’m having issues setting Roam up, fresh out of the box.It asks for a system update but then fails citing Error 1013.I have looked at apps on other devices - nothing is trying to update. I have checked Firewall and there is no issue. I’ve tried with the device closer and further away from the router, but no joy. I have reset the speaker (hold 5 seconds, wait 10). I have rebooted the router. I have restarted my phone. I have tried reinstalling the app on my phone (android). I tried updating through laptop (mac).Does anyone have any other ideas? I’m at loose end here.Thanks.

I have tow of the Play:1 as indoor speakers and a Connect:Amp for outdoors with speakers hardwired to this.  I am trying to get podcasts to play on the Sonos using airplay.I go to podcasts (not on Sonos app) and try to airplay, the Sonos systems are not showing up.  I am on the same network so it is not a network issue. If I look for podcasts on the Sonos app I do not see the podcasts from my iPhone (most recent model, fully up to date) listed. After doing some reading I think I might have to factory reset all speakers to get them to be recognized.  But before I did this I wanted to see if anyone has other suggestions. I am open to other suggestions on how to play podcasts from an iPhone, my wife wants the easiest way possible.

I’ve searched and found other people have the similar issues but no resolution.I have an alarm set for one news radio station. Sometimes it plays correctly, sometimes it will play a different new radio station. If I try to manually play the original station CNBC, it still plays the other. After a few days it went away I’ll play an album. Randomly part way through it plays other unrelated songs. The songs are different artists, styles, and usually ones I don’t listen to. The “continue on” feature is disabled.No one else has access to these accounts. Most of the music is played through Spotify there is no pet that might be touching the speakers The speakers are Sonos SL (no microphone), and are high up where they cannot be touched without the assistance of a ladder One speaker is literally a foot above the router, the other is in another room I’ve rebooted and reset all more than onceOther suggestions?

Following the remove of the feature allowing to read music directly from my android phone, i’m looking for a solution to read my music on my Beam gen2. I tried to connect to my Freebox Delta NAS. SMB2/3 is activated on my freebox in the “windows sharing” options. I verified, and my Beam is running Sonos OS S2.There are no user/password required, and i’m using \\Freebox_Server to access it.It’s working fine from my computer. But the Sonos app displays the following error when I try to add a new shared library : “The computer Freebox_Server has not been found”. (translated from french, sorry). What am I missing ?i.e : someone had apparently the same problem here, unanswered 

I have a Sonos One and have trouble with Iheartradio and my Tuner radio dropping out. Spotify works fine. The channel for wifi in the sonos app is 11 and I have set the channel on my router to 1, But it still drops out.Any ideas?

My LG 55UM7000AUE 4K TV (2019/HDMI ARC) turns off for awhile while watching streaming apps on my Fire Stick 4K Max displaying Dolby Atmos on the S2 app.  Usually the TV will come back on in a couple seconds with sound; other times I’ll have pic, but no sound.  My system for the TV is the Arc, Sub Mini, and One SLs for the surrounds.  I’m using 8K HDMI cables now, but I had the same issue with 4K cables.  If I select Dolby Digital and not Best Available or Dolby Digital Plus in the Fire Stick audio settings the TV will not turn off, but then I only get Dolby Digital 5.1.  I’m thinking the issue is with the TV’s processor/HDMI Arc/CEC not the Fire Stick as I’ve lost sound when switching inputs from DVD to Xfinity, etc.   if I turn the TV off and wait awhile the sound will come back on with Sonos, but not always.  Another clue is that if I switch to internal speakers the Arc will not default back for my audio as it does with my other Sonos systems.  Oh, my audio signal with Xfinity is Dol

Hola, I’m mounting a 55” tv with a mount that has a Sonos Beam mount attached to it. It’s on a patio and needs a cover. I haven’t had any luck finding a cover that was made specifically for that combo. Has anyone else tried this? Or did you just buy a bigger cover, one that would just need to be cinched down more? Thanks for any information. 

HI,  I have purchased a Pro-ject T1SB to add to my sonos system. I should have brought the BT version with Bluetooth built in. I then purchased a 1Mii ML201 bluetooth transmitter to connnect between the turntable and roam. I have set up the roam for WiFi to allow me to add the rest of my sonos set up. My question is that I can’t get the Ml201 to connect with Roam Bluetooth. Has anyone managed to do this and if so how?  Many thanks in advance. Gareth

Hi when we plugged in my play bar makes a noise 

When sonos arc is hooked up to tv, will the tv remote volume work the sonos arc volume at the same time? 

Each night (at least that has been the case since I added a new Beam Gen 2 to my systems) my surrounds start flashing green. It’s usually after midnight for some reason.The flashing keeps me awake so I go into the S2 app and notice the surround audio setting has been disabled. I enable it and the flashing stops. LED changes to the normal white. The same is happening for another 5.1 system I have upstairs. The sub and surround audio settings are disabled and need to be manually enabled each day.Any thoughts as to what might be causing the setting to change each night? 

I have an amp, arc, sub gen 1, two Era 100’s as surround back. Great ease for watching TV. However, I have a turntable and want to listen to it through the surrounds. In asking support once how to enable me to listen to the turntable, then switch to tv or music, was told by support that it would require a completely different set up and any time I want to switch between TV and music to go to turntable listening. Were they correct, that it required a new setup in Sonos 2 app each time. This sounded totally ridiculous and short sighted on Sonos’s part, but who am I to question. I assumed the fellow was wrong on the support line, so hung up and waited till I have a little time to try again. Called in again, and now, after reading and getting support on the phone to find a solution AGAIN, they told me the same thing. Can this be right??? Can I set up a ROOM for TV / Music and a ROOM for Turntable, they said NO. I feel like sending all the Sonos equipment back. this seems ridiculous….is it

Hi there! I was about to buy two Sonos Roam SL to use as my main mac stereo speakers, but I discovered that they only work via wifi, not bluetooth. Can someone tell me if they can still be used in stereo via wifi (or Airplay 2) and reproduce every sound of the computer (videocalls, browsing, youtube, website sounds, etc) or just the audio apps like spotify or netflix?  

I have a customer who has a sub that only produces audio when she streams music. It produces nothing when she turns her TV on to watch a show or movie. The sub is connected to a beam. I walked her through factory reseting to to bring it back into her system fresh but the sub will not reset. Instead of going to a green light for pairing after the reset it continues to blink white. Does anyone know what the issue might be?
