Hi Guys,

I have conntected my Epson Projector to my mixer via audio out 3.5mm from my project to phono (red and white) 6.5mm on one of my mixer channels. I can see the sound going into my mixer when I play something on the TV so I know the sound is definitely working.

I think plug a red and white phono jack from the out put of the mixer to the RCA input of the Sonos AMP.

On the sonos app I select line in. There is a setting which says Stero/Mono. I am not sure which one to select for it to work. I have it on Stero but there is no sound coming through.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Is the output from the mixer line level, or are you controlling the volume? The Sonos Amp, on its line in, is expecting line level (same as CD, tape deck, DVD, pretty much everything except most turntables) on that line in. You’d then need to turn it on, of course, following the FAQ, but it seems as though you are. Since you’re sending both left and right, you should choose stereo. Make sure you’re using input, rather than output on the Sonos Amp.

Hey,

Here’s a picture of my setup. I am pretty sure I am doing everything right but I can’t get the sound to work. On the Sonos app I am selecting line in for the amp.

I am doing 3.5mm from TV to 6.5mm left and right on the input channel on the mixer. Then I am doing 6.5mm from the mixer main output to the RCA input on the Sonos AMP.

Is there any trouble shooting I can do or do you something I’m not doing correctly?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry my other question is do you always go:

TV > Mixer > Sonos AMP

or should it be:

TV > Sonos AMP > Mixer (theres no output on the sonos amp to connec to the mixer) I would have to use the Sonos Port.

As a reality check:

TV > AMP > speakers.

As a reality check:

TV > AMP > speakers.

where does the mixer come in because I need the mixer to connect my wireless mics for Karoke

I’m doing TV > Mixer > Sonos AMP and no sound is coming just wondering if I am doing something wrong.

My test of TV > AMP would narrow the possibilities. If this setup works, then the issue is with the mixer setup.

Karaoke is likely to be a fail, as enumerated in countless other threads, due to the delay inherent on a Sonos analog line in. It’s really hard to mentally overcome that 75ms.

Ive done TV Out to RCA IN (red and white) in the Sonos AMP and there is no sound :(

Has anyone gotten it to work from TV To Sonos AMP with the aux to RCA? I know TV to Sonos AMP via hdmi works but the Epson project I have does not have HDMI ARC

There is no automatic connection between AMP’s Line-In and output from its speaker terminals. You must select Line-In as the source. Another possibly is a TV’s audio output setup option needs attention.

Yes I selected Line as the source on the Sonos APP
