Resetting my Roam to a new ISP.

I have recently changed my ISP. I am going away on holiday next week and have dusted off my Roam which was so frustrating on my trip to NZ at Christmas where it would not connect to the wifi, it also at one stage emitted a loud noise like an alarm. The power button does not work as directed and is inconsistent. When I returned from NZ I tried to send it back but one of their operator convinced me to stick with it. I have note really used it until now and it does not register on my phone. It will also not factory reset by following the instructions. When I hold the pause/play button and switch the Roam and continue to hold the pause/play, it goes from white to blue and not flashing white/orange. Therefore no factory reset. My Sonos app cannot find my Roam even though it is connected to my iPhones bluetooth. This is so frustrating and at this stage I will never buy another Sonos product ever again.

Reset the Roam by following the instructions in this article:

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/reset-your-sonos-product

After the Roam has been successfully reset, set up the Roam again on your home’s WiFi by following these instructions:

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/set-up-your-sonos-roam

When traveling with the Roam, don’t try to connect the Roam over WiFi. Connect to the Roam using Bluetooth instead by following these instructions:

Thank you. It must have been somnething you wrote, as when I went and gave it another go, it decided to reset. Still not happy with the power on button not operating as it should. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

Here is how to use the Roam’s power button:

Power on/sleep/wake: Short press (less than 1 second)

When you put Roam to sleep, you’ll hear a quick tone and the status light will turn off. Press again to wake. If you put Roam to sleep, it will stay asleep for 10 minutes before powering off.

Bluetooth: To pair with a device, press and hold until you hear the second tone and the status light blinks blue, then select Roam from your device’s Bluetooth pairing list.

To pair with a different device, wait until Roam connects to the current device, then press and hold again to restart the pairing process.

Power off: Long press (about 5 seconds)

Press and hold until you hear the third tone. The status light blinks blue, then turns off.

Thank you. It must have been somnething you wrote, as when I went and gave it another go, it decided to reset. Still not happy with the power on button not operating as it should. Any suggestions on how to fix that?
