A similar question was posted 6 years ago but I could not find anything helpful in the results…Any radio station hosted by TuneIn I have seen does not seem to display the song and artist info in the Sonos app. It shows for the same station in the TuneIn mobile app, so the actual station is sending the info in the API to TuneIn. I do not recall that this having ever worked for me. Is this a TuneIn or Sonos issue?

Changed internet to StarLink. How do I connect to S1? I have 2 new Move systems connected to S2 app. I have legacy speakers and a Conn| Amp that I want to continue to run on S1.

I’m working on connecting two speakers in the master bath of a home I’m building (Klipsh CDT-3650-C II in-ceiling speakers, 8 ohm) to a Sonos Amp, and I’m unsure how to connect the wiring to the amp. When the wiring was put in place, both speakers were wired in mono (12 gauge CL2, in wall speaker wire). This means that I only have (1x) red lead and (1x) black lead for both speakers in my control cabinet, and I’m unsure how to wire it into the amp. Do I connect them to the L input via the banana plugs, and then select the “Dual Mono” setting in the Sonos App? Any advice would be appreciated, A/V is not my strong suit. Thank you!

I had an older S1 Sonos system in my house that I sold last October  (2022) in order to travel the world looking for cool surf spots (a geriatric Endless Summer). Now I am considering purchasing a Roam for my travels, and am wondering if there is any way I will be able to access my old playlists from the S1 home system. I still have my Sonos account and the S1 controller on my phone. Any help here will be greatly appreciated, as there were a few playlists I’d love to have back.

The volume slider on my Android home screen won’t move when I try to drag the volume button. I can use the physical tablet buttons to adjust the volume. If I expand the station, the volume slider on that screen will drag and change the volume. This slider at the bottom of my Sonos home screen was working for years and all of a sudden it stopped working. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I’ve tried with and without the “home screen volume control” on. This tablet app problem is the same for all 4 of my Sonos speakers. My phone app works fine.I am running Android 11 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e.

I have a Sonos system with numerous speakers connected through SonosNet, with one speaker connected to the router via ethernet cable and everything else connecting wirelessly.  Now, I’m trying to add two Play 1 speakers that I previously used in an old apartment.  I factory reset them and when I go to “add product” in the Sonos settings, the app detects them and allows me to begin the setup process.  However, the process does not complete and I get the following error message:‘We couldn’t find any products on your mobile device’s network so we can’t set up your Play:1.” Is this because my phone is connected to normal WiFi while my Sonos system is using SonosNet?  If so, how can I successfully add these Play 1 speakers?  At the end of the day I just want to get them added and integrated into the system, so if you have any thoughts at all I’d appreciate them.  Thanks!

Outdoor TV and two Sonos Fives.  TV and right speaker connects to wifi, left speaker will not connect to wifi, tried reset, tried ethernet, No success so far

Hi I have two use cases:   ** Listening to TV indoors - TV + Beam 2 (working).  I have an  LG Oled TV paired with my BEAM 2 for watching TV and listening to Music (Spotify from TV to beam).      **Listening to Music Multiroom - TV + Beam &  AMP + 2 external speakers (not yet working).I want to listen to music indoors on my TV+Beam (ideally, spotify) while also listening to the same music outside.  I am considering purchasing an AMP and two Sonance speakers to use for the outdoors. Are there any considerations I need to take into account here? How do I set up mirrored music play for outside? I dont want my AMP speakers to be surround sound, but I do want them to be

I have a strange issue. My Beam very often fails to connect to Philips TV (65Pus 7601). From configuration point of view everything is correctly connected (HDMI ARC etc). This issues appears occasionally and is quite annoying. When I had previous sounded (Denon) it never happened. What I need to do is to disconnect Beam 2 from Power and connect again. Then after 15-20 seconds sound is on. Did anyone of you experienced similar problem? As I wrote this problem appears occassionally. Like every 3rd time.

I see this question a lot in the community and I can’t believe this is still an issue in 2023!  Expanded wifi networks is nothing new and why has Sonos not figured this out?  I dumbed down my network to only have 1 AP up and forced it to 2.4GHZ but the Sonos Move REFUSES TO CONNECT TO WIFI!  It is beyond frustrating.  I use Aruba for my APs and have 6 connect amps on the same SSID that I am trying to connect to.  Everything works great but the friggin’ Move doesn’t want to be a part of the system.  It worked fine until I migrated all of my devices over to one SSID.  Previously they were spread out on a few SSIDs and playing nicely.  I factory reset this thing, made sure my controller/android app/ios app is on the same SSID but I still get no joy.  Please help me so I don’t throw this thing in the street and beat it with a bat.

Dear Community,I hope someone has bumped into a similar issue at some point and can guide me in the right direction. At my workplace we have bought several Sonos Port-systems for a convenient way for our staff to listen to music in different locations.I can setup a Port-system along with an iPad to control the music, and it works perfectly fine. But when I move it to the physical location it is supposed to be it does not work.We have a fairly modern network with multiple access points serving the same SSIDs and on the network the Port-system is on, we have no endpoint-isolation, and it has Internet connectivity. The MAC-addresses for iPads and Sonos Ports are whitelisted. The Port systems and iPads are on the same wireless network. We use certificate based authentication, and that should not be an issue since it works perfectly at my desk.Starting over, as in resetting the Port and configuring everything from start in the intended location does not work at all.Does the Sonos system care

So the Plex integration doesn’t get HD or Hi Res flag in the interface when playing hi res files,When you “cast” from Roon over Sonos and it shows the signal path as being lossless again it doesn’t show the flag…Is there any way to get HD or Hi res flags other than streaming direct from local media library? Thanks

Hi, I have recently renewed my Plusnet account and was sent a new Hub 2 Router which I believe is the same as the BT router.I have tried most of the day to reconfigure my Sonos Beam to the router via Wi-Fi but get as the last stage of the setup after I enter my Wi-Fi password and then get an error that Sonos can connect to the router. I have  changed the settings ad per the support page but no joy. (Eg disabled 5Mhz mode, ensured spa, and the correct channels are enabled.I have then tried the old router and reconfigured the Sid and password to match the new router but get the same issue.  I have tried configuring from iPad and iPhone. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Ça I have dolbi atmos matching beam gen 1 with my 2 era 300

To start, I have scoured the internet and nothing has worked to resolve this issue. Existing Sonos speakers working through app.Older Connect on hand and on network. Krell integrated receiver. Thiel speakers. Trying to connect Thiel speakers through Krell amp and connect to Sonos. Nothing except a buzzing. Tried multiple inputs etc. Help!!

Hi,I cannot update past 15.4 on my Mac OS. I get an unexpected error after I enter my admin password. This occurs on both Mac Mini Pro M2 chip and Macbook Pro M1 pro chip, with both running latest OS updates.thanks,Paul.

I’m hoping to use 4 Sonos ceiling speakers (2 front, 2 rear) with one Sonos amp for tv viewing in a 21’ w x 18’ d room.I know many folks normally don’t recommend only using ceiling speakers for tv viewing because it’s odd to have sound coming from a different direction than to tv, but does trueplay and the virtual center channel in a larger room eliminate that problem?

can I sync play five sonos with films on a headphone jack to jack cable from imac whilst not in wifi

Hi, I have 2.1 system connected to a Denon PMA 30 amplifier that I want to connect to all the Sonos speakers we have, so I’m looking at the Sonos port. However one difficulty is we also have a projector that connects to the amp by Bluetooth when we use it (so not permanently)Is it likely that we’re going to suffer from lots of input shenanigans going this route, or can the Sonos Port switch inputs itself on an amp?

I have just added a pair of Era 300s to my Arc + Sub to replace the Ones I was using.  I have just tried a 7.1.4 test tone via an App on my Apple TV and when testing the up firing speakers both the front (Arc) and rear (Era 300) play at the same time when playing either the front or rear Atmos/ceiling speaker test tone (right or left). These should work independently right? Or do they operate in a .2 configuration rather than a .4 setup?

I am based in the UK and have just had FTTP installed. Part of setting up the Erro router, supplied by my ISP, was to reconnect my Sonos equipment. The Play 5, Play 3, Roam and Arc soundbar  are all connected, over wifi and are working. I have a Sonos sub and 2 Play 1’s that according to then Sonos app are connected over wifi, and in fact are working, as they produce sound. However in the networking listings from the Erro it shows that the Play 5, Play 3, Roam and Arc soundbar have a full wifi signal, (excellent). However the listing for the Sonos sub and Play 1’s are “greyed out”. I am correct in thinking that as the Arc has a full wifi connection and it is “bonded” to the sub and Play 1’s, it causes this issue? Not a major issue for me, just trying to understand the logic behind it all. The sound for the Lounge surround sound system is awesome.

Hi All -Unlikely I know but can one get the S2 app to run on a WindowsXP machine?  If so, how? Thanks,Ian.

Hello. One of my Sonos play1 speakers is constantly dropping off. The other speakers continue playing but the play1 will drop out then come back for 10 seconds 30 seconds it’s always different and then drop off again. I had this issue a few times over the years and I’ve been able to fix it by resetting the system or just waiting and eventually it would work itself out. Does anyone know any other ways to quickly fix this issue? Wi-Fi router internet provider are all the same. Nothing changed on my end that I know of to cause this problem. Thank you! diagnostic number 1691235126

I just cannot add any music services, the buttons are greyed out. Error message appears “this feature is not available”.
