When I use sonos, my system is hopping in and out of connection everytime we listen to music.

I have the sonos bridge, and not sonos 2 app, because many of my speakers are sonos os:01

Retire the Sonos BRIDGE completely. Either wire your Ethernet cable directly to a speaker, or you can connect them directly to your Wi-Fi. See The wireless and wired systems FAQ.

Your BRIGE’s power supply is likely failing, causing the random disconnects. While you could potentially swap it with a BOOST, it is thought Sonos is dropping that as well, as it is now appearing as a ‘last chance’ sale item, and newer Sonos speakers can’t connect to it.

It’s possible, depending on what speakers you have, that you could update them to S2 after retiring the BRIDGE.
