HiYesterday, I installed my Port and it worked largely as advertised. My system has a turntable, vacuum tube preamp and vacuum tube power amp. The port’s RCA inputs are connected to the preamp’s output, and the port’s RCA outputs are connected to the power amp’s Line in. I can play the turntable through the Sonos speakers, which is why I bought the Port, but I can no longer play the turntable just (not through the Sonos speaker) through the hifi speakers without first removing the Port. Is there an app setting I’m missing, or does the Port not just pass through audio signals if the app is not in use?

I have a Beam Gen 2 plus 2 Sonos Ones as surround sound for my Hisense TV. All streaming services work fine (Netflix, iPlayer, 4onDemand etc) however Disney+ does not work perfectly. Every now and then it drops out for a millisecond. When checking with Sonos support they ran a few checks and said the speaker network was dropping quite regularly, but weirdly this only seems to be on Disney+. Annoyingly there's no way to reinstall the app on the TV, so not really sure what else to try. Disney+ did work perfectly for about 3 months or so.Any thoughts?

I have a 5.2 set up with the arc, two subs (gen 3), and two era 300s as surrounds. When I play music (Spotify) through my TV, I am hearing a lot more sound from the Arc and subs, but not as much from the surrounds. When I play music (Spotify) through the sonos app, the surrounds are much more pronounced and the subs/arc is less pronounced. It seems that my EQ and Surround settings are the same… Is their something I am missing?

HI, I changed router to an Orbi RBR350 and my Sonos first wouldn’t connect. I did a factory reset on the Sonos, and now it can get on the wifi but now won’t let me register the product to add to my system. Can anyone offer any advice, please?Thanks

Hi there,I did search before I posted but never noticed a solution to my specific question I have a multi room setup at home with 7 Sonos devices all using S1.I use a Move as part of that system mainly for my hot tub but it is of course still part of the multi room system.This weekend however I would like to take the Move away from home to use in a motorhome at an event mainly to listen to the events local FM radio which might also be found being streamed and maybe Amazon Music or music from my iPhone.I have an electrical hookup on the pitch but if that fails I can of course use the 230v supply through an integral inverter.The motorhome does not have its own router and there is no Wi-Fi on site AFAIK. The only Internet access would be from my mobile phone but that depends on the coverage in the middle of a field and the contention that you usually see at an event.How best would I use the Move under these circumstances?Would I toggle it to Bluetooth, pair it to my iPhone and just use it

I’m in the Sonos Beta version of the app and suddenly cannot play Pandora. I’ve tried quitting the Sonos app, removing Pandora and adding. I’ve authorized it today several times. The problem is on iPhone, iPad.The SONOS app on my laptop will not update.

I haven’t seen this exact problem mentioned, apologies if I just missed it.I have an issue where only some of my music library files will not play on Sonos. If one of the “bad” files is in the queue, it will play the first few seconds, then switch to the next file. Often these occur in clumps, where several files in a row won’t play (but the rest of the files from the same album will). As far as I have been able to tell, once the problem is occurring, it’s always the same files that won’t play, but the problem is intermittent (for example, a set of files that I couldn’t play yesterday are working fine today). The same files always play fine using other apps such as VLC or Rythmbox (Linux). I have seen both OGG and MP3 files exhibit the issue. To control my system I use the Sonos S2 controller running on a Windows 10 system, or the Android app running on various devices. In each case the music files are being accessed from a Samba server (SMB) running on a Raspberry Pi 4, from an extern

Hello all!This is first time posting and first Sonos system.  I am in the process of finishing out my basement and creating a theater room.  I currently have an ARC, 2 subs, 2 in wall speakers, 2 in ceiling speakers and 2 amps.  The plan is mount the ARC under the TV with the 2 in wall speakers on each side of the TV and use the ceilings as rears. First question -  Will the above set up even work? Second question - Can I add another pair of in ceiling speakers (with another amp I’m guessing) and create a left and right pair for the rears? Third question - Is there a better way to do this? lol Thanks! 

Hi.  I just got a new MacBook Air with Ventura OS and M2 chip.  I migrated all apps including the S1 controller from my old MacBook.  The app started but I could not access my music library and it told me I needed to update.  Update attempts failed so I uninstalled the app, and now I cannot find an installation file to install S1 on Ventura.  Where can I find that file, and should I be able to get a “latest version” running on Ventura so I can use my Music Library again? Thanks,Greg

Anyone know if a move can play in sync alongside 2 play 3's in the same room? 

Hi there - naive question for the group as I consider the purchase of a group of Amps for a whole house audio setup. Are Amps connecting to music streaming services and pulling the actual data from these services VS merely receiving data that I’m downloading on my phone and then redirecting to the Amps?Said otherwise: if I were to walk away and become out of range of my WiFi network … would Amps still be able to play whatever playlist or music I’d have started? 

My Sonos Roam has severe configuration issues. When it shuts down, not standby, and I wait for couple hours, it is back in factory defaults, green LED and needs to be linked again.This happened before occasionaly once a month, now it happens daily. I have good wifi coverage, client steering disabled, and IP address fixed. Nothing helps.The most anoying point is that almost every time I want to use bluetooth it has lost the config snd I must go back to the home network to couple again. Total useless device when on vacation.Is there a way I can avoid losing the config or is it just broken?Cheers

HI when I use airplay streaming music, then I couldn't control the volume to max.maybe if I turn to 80% volume then it auto change to 20%. My speakers is 4ohm.  When I use 8ohm speaker haven’t this issue ThanksLuke 

I just added a Beam to our tv, we were listening to the TV via the amp and the hardwired ceiling speakers. Now the setup runs through the Beam and that works fine as I added the Amp speakers as surrounds. So far all is well with the tv sound. I would also like to play music and when I tried it it played through the Beam with no ceiling speaker sound which is not what I want. How do I play the amp speakers on their own without the Beam? I have looked through all the settings and can’t seem to find my way.  

Hi I have a Beam gen 2 and a Era100 but the era keeps loosing connection with the beam , no cables involved. All in the same room.any ideas please wifi in the house is good .

My home theater isn’t holding a connection to the TV. My TV keeps defaulting to TV Speakers rather than HDMI/Receiver speakers. Beam work via Airplay but is not optimal at all.   

We have had a Sonos Move in our living room for a few years, and find it responds pretty well to the Alexa wake word - sometimes we have to mute the TV or speak up a little, but it’s rare.We have recently bought an Arc, and inherited a couple of Ones to use as rear surrounds.The Arc is the same distance away from the sofa as the Move (4-5 metres), yet it really struggles to pick up the Alexa wake word.  We are having to shout to get it to wait, and then usually having to repeat what we want as it doesn’t hear us.  The Ones are about 1.5-2 metres away from the sofa, and we thought maybe we could use them for voice controls.  However, it seems as soon as they are added as surrounds, they have their mics disabled (making them pretty much One SLs).Short of buying an Echo Flex to purely use for voice control (and somehow getting it to use the Sonos for all output), is there anything I can do to make the system hear us?Shouting at the TV is not ideal really...

I have sonos port and two pices of sonos One. I can make them play in group of two and it does´t mater what combination I use either port+one or one+one or one+port and it all works. When ever I try to add third device into group of two then the third device plays sound for 1 second and then stays silent while other two sonos devices keep playing. Any idea whats wrong with my setup?thank you 

Hi, Do you now if i can have the Sonos S2 app on a FireTV by the store? I didn’t found any information about.My setup is 6 One, 1 beam and 1 sub. I got an Amazon Echo Show 15 to have a pannel to control all my other devices. On this tablet,i got FireTV. I wan’t to control the music all round my house whit it but Spotify Connect is not enabled on FireTV by the spotify app and Sonos didn’t make an app on FireTVAnyone have a solution? :( (sorry for my worst english)

Since the update for spatial audio was released the not encoded error is happening most of the time. This only happens when using Apple Music via the Sonos app and is not just limited to the Era 300s.  Tracks that have been uploaded using the iTunes Match service display the error but other songs won’t play either despite everything being fine before.  I can get around this playing via Airplay or deleting the tracks from my library and adding them again from Apple Music. This isn’t an ideal fix though as I have lots of music that isn’t available on Apple Music. I also have 100s of playlists and I can’t do this to every one.  I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tips that I’ve read and nothing has worked.  This is obviously an error caused by the new spatial audio music update; Apple and Sonos need to get together to fix this because it’s ruining the Sonos experience. 

When I try and connect to my music library on my PC running win 11 I get the error message that computer can’t be found.  I’ve tried on 2 different machines and it happens on both.  I’ve checked and the computer names are correct. Help have a party happening this afternoon.

Just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to use a single Era 300 as a surround speaker for an Arc playbar? thanks very much in advance

Hi,Looking for some advice about connecting a turntable (with pre-amp built in) to my Sonos system.  I have Arc, a Sub and 2 x Sonance in ceiling speakers connected to my Sonos Amp to create surround sound system.  All works great.  But I want to add in a turntable and tried to do this via the Amp but apparently you cannot use the Amp for both the surround sound and the turntable (which is annoying!)Anyone got any suggestions as to the best way to integrate the turntable into the system?  Do I need to buy a second Amp or Port to connect the turntable to?If anyone can help I would be grateful! Thanks 

Arriving to my summer house with a Playbase(wired) + two play 1 as surround, one Sonos AMP and one Sonos Move.Updates needs to be done and all works fine but both play 1 stucks “updating”. Tried reboot router and Play 1 a number of times. Finally I decided to reinstall them. Factory reset, install as new unit, switching to temporary Wi-Fi-network and then back to my normal Wi-Fi. After that the Play 1 will not connect. Same problem with both of them.Tried a different routerTried add with Ethernet and that works fine. Wi-Fi is activated on both Play 1 but when I remove the cable they disappear from the app. Tried Network-update network and adding the same network again. Same results.

Hi everyone,I just received my pair of era 300 to replace my ones.When sending music on just one of them, audio is perfectly fine.When sending music on both of them, although not configured as a stereo pair, audio is perfectly fine.When sending music on both of them, when configured as a stereo pair, audio is perfectly fine.When configured as surround speakers, and sending music to the whole system (Arc + Sub + 2x era 300), the sound is fine on the Arc and Sub (RJ45 wired), and cuts in and out on both of the era 300.More precisely, it’s as if the sound is fading out, fading in, bouncing between the two era 300 a couple of times, then stabilizing for 3-5s, and then doing it all over again.I tried restarting my router, unplugging/plugging back both era 300, changing WiFi channel on the sonos APP, and I still have this weird behaviour.At this point, I don’t have any clue on what to do next… 😔 Any idea on how I could fix this?
