2 Sonos Accoubts on the same Wifi

My neighbor and I are sharing our wifi via mesh routers in order to save on monthly costs.

I already have my Sonos device connected, my neighbor would like to set up his own account on the same wifi, is this possible?

Running multiple Sonos systems (they’re called ‘households’ in Sonos-speak) on the same network is fine, so long as you take some initial precautions.

When your neighbour installs their first Sonos unit make sure (a) their controller app is either freshly installed or has been reset, and (b) they create a ‘new system’. If there are any problems then power off all your Sonos units and try again.

All your controller apps should be dedicated to your system and all your neighbour’s to theirs. But you’d probably have arrived at that arrangement anyway.
