Can anyone explain how Sonos mathematics work?I have an item in my cart to checkout and they are applying a 15% discount that just doesn’t add upproduct price $2798 with a 15%discount however discount is only showing as $375 i/o $419.70🤪🤪

My Sonos Beam 1 and Samsung TV (Link to Samsung TV) sound great when they work properly.  However, I have had ongoing problems with the sound breaking up (almost like a long-distance call with a bad connection) when you hear intermittent words.It isn’t all the time but I don’t know what to do.  I have spoken to tech support and they weren’t overly helpful.  I installed the App on my phone and can confirm that the issue does not occur if I play Sonos Radio.It is to the point where I would consider buying something new (like Sonos 2) or a different brand if I could be assured that the problem will go away.Any suggestions on how to isolate problem or fix?

Help!If I go to cast music from my phone and tap that cast icon, my soundbar+sub doesn't show up in the list of devices, but rather, only if I further tap the 'Airplay and Bluetooth devices'. You might be thinking, well yeah, you didn't set it up in Google Home. Yet, I did, and when I go directly into the Google Home app, I can see it listed there among my other speaker devices.It seems like I have to choose between soundbar+sub (via 'Airplay and Bluetooth devices') or my other speakers (Google Home devices). How do I get the soundbar+sub to show up alongside my other google home devices when I go to choose which devices to cast to?Is it possible that Airplay somehow claimed ‘ownership’ and I need to disable the Airplay connection and reestablish the connection only via Google Home (somehow?). I’m grasping at straws here.Please and thank you,Keven 

I understand that there is already a 4-year-old thread talking about this issue, but it is silly that this problem still exists on the latest model and technology & we don’t have a proper official response on this. Even four days ago someone replied on that thread talking about the same problem and doesn’t seem to get attention, so I decided to post a new one here. Products I own: two Era 300 (stereo paired) Use case: M1 Pro Macbook Pro + Airplay2 + Chrome + Youtube Problem:If I pause a video for a few seconds, it’s fine and when I play it again it connects. If I pause a video for some time (say, two minutes), when I resume it, no sound is played at all. The audio output seems to still be Sonos, but just no sound. (Silly way to address it:) if I change the audio output back to Macbook Pro speakers, and then change back to sonos, it’s fine again. But I really don’t want to do this every time!

 Hi this is my current setup with 75inch + Sonos Arc. My question is whether this setup is fine or would this make the sound quality lower ? As you can see I have a fire place and can't go any lower and making the TV go higher means it's too high. So would this cause any sound quality issues?  Also the upward firing speakers are definitely open and is not blocked - so is it still a problem ? 

I can only access one of my 3 Sonos system/room at a time with my eeros 6 wifi. If i want to listen to a different sonos room, i must first power off the one I’m listening to so that the app can find the one I want. I have tried turning off bridge mode on the WiFi, but no luck. Does anybody have a solution? Many thanks. 

Hello every one I picked up a lovely pair of sonos 1 gen 2 s18’s the other day.They are in my sonos app as a steep pair they are streaming Spotify and amazon music through their apps but Alexa is just being DUMB she keeps saying hmm and enable the skill whilst the skills are enabled!I have another sonos 1 which she works perfectly on. Amazon were useless in finding an answer. Please help.

Hi, has anyone recently returned a product from the UK? The paperwork and process looks pretty intense, do Sonos give you all the necessary details/info to make the return easier? Have they simplified the ‘commercial invoice’ procedure yet? There seems to be a few people who struggled but the posts are a few years old now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a  Sonos Playbar that my husband was given a few years ago when his place of work went out of business. It’s worked fine for years (on wifi) but Spotify no longer recognizes it,, and when we try to sign on to the app it shows a abbreviated version of someone else’s email, and won’t accept ours. Nothing has changed on our end, and all apps are up to date. Thanks for any advice!

Hello Sonos Community, I am considering between purchasing the Sonos Five and the Sonos architecture Outdoor speakers. Though I originally was looking for outdoor audio, I went to a shop and heard the Sonos Five audio and was wow’d. Does the Sonos Outdoor speaker, paired with the Sonos amp, deliver similar or better sound when compared to the Five?

Hi,I have an Arc, 2xEra100 and Sub in a surround setup and hope someone with experience can help. When using these as TV output all is great. However, when with Surround Audio > Music Playback > Full set, when music is being played (eg. Spotify, airplay), there is a slight delay to the Era100 output such that it sounds like a slight echo. Noticeable especially with spoken word. Is this normal? Bearing in mind that these aren’t a group of speakers (I.e you might expect and accept a tiny delay between rooms) but are actually connected and appear as one single “Product” in the Sonos app.

I am planning an indoor-outdoor installation, with four Sonance in ceiling speakers and one Move for the outdoor patio. I know you can add up to 3 pairs of Sonance to a single Sonos Amp, but can I add this Move to my two pairs of Sonance on the same Amp?

I got a new Orbi Pro mesh Netgear router but I’m unable to connect my Sonos to it wirelessly. The Orbi is set as an access point because of my firewalla firewall.   I have one 5 and three 1s. The five is connected to my Orbi directly with CAT 5 cable.   I cannot, cannot get the 1s to connect wirelessly. Please advise.  Thank you!  Stu

I have a Samsung TV (UA55ES7500M purchased in 2013) with a Sonos Arc soundbar purchased a year ago, connected to a Sonos Amp (with Silver brand speakers). The HDMI (arc) connection has been working perfectly, since I installed the Arc.Three days ago (1 sep) it stopped working and the sound output defaulted to the TV speakers. A TV factory reset restored the sound output connection to the HDMI (arc) port and sound again came through the arc sound bar.  However after the next TV power off/on, the TV sound output again defaulted to the TV speakers.Here is a very strange thing. If I manually change the TV sound output to the HDMI(arc) port, the sound is played through the arc soundbar - I.e. it  actually works but ONLY on 2 free to air TV channels (12 and 15) plus the internet app Samsung TV channels. I have checked this several times and channels 12 and 15 have sound via the sound bar but none of the other free to air channels have sound via the sound bar.Does anyone have any ideas?My sus

Diagnostic:1299356868Have multiple Sonos products - 2 Connects, 4 Connect Amps, Play 3 and Five. The Connects and Connect Amps are connected via Ethernet.One of the Connects (Family Room) keeps cutting in and out. It is connected to an AV Receiver for one of our home theaters (BluRay, Apple TV, Sonos). I’ve reset the modem, router and Sonos systems sequentially with no fix, at least not for long.This happens playing any media via Sonos. Other rooms (including a duplicate setup in the basement den) work without issues. This is the only product that seems to have issues.

No more broadband internet but still want to use the speakers 1st Gen. is there cable or why can’t my mobile internet pic it up?  thanks JP

Having problems with Android when playing Sonos playlist on S2 app. The playlist goes back to the beginning of the particular playlist rather than the track being played. This does not happen on Apple IOS devices but on Android.Does anyone have a fix for this this?  

I have two apartments in Omaha NE, across the hall from each other. I uses macs & iPhones, all up to date. I use an eero mesh wifi, with a CAT5 cable connecting the two apps, so we can use the same wifi addresses etc in both places, one backup system, NAS for music library, etc.   I have 9 SONOS components, 5 new, 4 old. I have them arranged into two separate systems, one connected with an overhead projector working through Roku & CONNECT, using S2. The other in the apartment across the hall using S1. This system has worked flawlessly for several years.    I recently upgraded the eero to 6 PRO (doesn't use the 6GHz band but has multiple 5's for back traffic & continues to has 2.4GHz. This new wifi easily reaches across the hall, with all 9 systems logging on to both zeros, leaving me with the problem. Hello.I’m hoping someone may be able to offer some guidance on apparent connectivity issues I have with my newly-extended set up.In my home I have a ZP80 connected via Ethernet to my BT Home Hub. There is a Play 3, Play 5 and G1 Beam in the house, and these operate with no issue and remain visible in the Sonos App.I have recently built a garden room 30m from my property, CAT6 connects the BT Home Hub to the TP-Link TD-W9970 wireless router in the garden room where there is another Beam plus a ZP100 connected wirelessly I am finding that the devices in the garden room often ‘disappear’ from the Sonos app. Sometimes I also notice that I need to play music from one of the devices in the home then group the garden room devices for music to play. Are there any obvious issues with this that I need to fix? thanks in advance for any replies 

Hi,im using Audioteka app for audio books. Is there any way how to connect it to the sonos speaker on Android? I find quite confusing that not all audio is playing via the sonos speaker. Thanks

Hi guys,I've tried google for the answer but all of them couldn't answer my question. I've bought a pair of Sonos Era 100 recently and would like to use it for my desktop setup (in my bedroom) via bluetooth. I use my L for the main speaker for the bluetooth connection and set up the R in the Sonos App and made it a stereo set.However, whenever I'm watching a movie/listening to spotify music, the R speaker keep having the issue of breaking off for like 1 sec and reconnects back but the L speaker works just fine.I've tried reset, unplugging and waiting for 10s and none of it works. The closest answer I've found online is move the speaker closed to the bluetooth source, which is my CPU and its directly next to my R speaker.Any inputs are welcome, thanks guys!

Hi guys I'm looking for some input on how to correctly set up my media setup (unfortunately I'm a bit of a noob in this area).So the situation I have is as following I have a range of media devices (ps4, Nvidea shied, Calbe box, ...) and 2 output devices A Samsung 4K earc enabled tv and a formovie theatre 4k earc enabled short throw. The audio is connected to a sonos system (earc).Everything works fine if I connect a single input to a single output and the earc out of either the tv or the ultra short throw to the earc sonos.My goal is to buy some devices that enable me to switch easily between those devices and stream to the desired output device (they never play at the same time). (the switch boxes are displayed on the schema in orange - yet to be bought).I would obviously prefer a single remote/device to orchestrate this : aka select desired input and output with it's respective earc to the sonos. Does such a device exist or any tips on how to set this up?Any help on this would be gr

This AM, with no changes to my set-up for months. The TV sound stopped via ARC/HDMI to Beam.  I have read all the other sets/resets ect ect.  I went into TV settings and changed Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital or  PCM and the sound came back.Is this now a fault with the beam as obviously the TV is sending a signal.  Thoughts
