Adding SONOs subwoofer to an existing SONOs Arc

Hi, can someone tell me how to add a SONOs Sub Gen 3 to an existing SONOS Arc? I learned that I may have to use the SONOs App. How can I do this? 

If I want to also add the SONOs surround in the future, do I follow the same procedure?
