My sonos move can't connect to sonos voice control. It times out and asks me if I have a wifi connection, which I do,a good one.

I just bought the Amp, the sub and 2 Era 100.  All is working except the Era 100 for surround. I have tried everything and cannot get it to work. The crazy part is that I had bought the Arc over the weekend with the AMP as surround and that worked great except that the Quality of sound from the Arc was poor compared to the existing non-SONOS wall speakers. Anyways, long story short, I returned the Arc, and then used the AMP as my front speakers with my existing wall speakers, and then added the sub plus the Era 100 for surround (rear).  Surround will not work with the Era 100 in this configuration.  Not sure what else to try.  Any ideas before I choose to run back to the store and replace my whole set up with a trusted reliable brand like BOSE?

I recently decided to switch to a 2x2 TB SSD RAID drive running in an enclosure off of my Mac mini, replacing an old but not-yet dead NAS.  The NAS did backups and held my music files.  I found such cheap (Intel) SSDs that the whole thing came it at about $200, which is cheaper than a comparable NAS with mechanical drives.  It seemed pretty simple to swap, with OSX Extended (Case sensitive, journaled) format partitions for public files (music), Time Machine, and Misc on each of the two RAID drives.  Time Machine loves it, and I can read and write to the other partitions as normal.  Sonos, not so much.  When I specify the path to my music, e.g., /Volumes/Pubic RAID/Shared Music/iTunes, I get maybe 10 seconds of indexing (lots of music, so it should take a long time even off of a fast SSD) and then no music in either the Mac or iPhone app.  If I do the same process off of my base HD, which is a tiny SSD that is APFS formatted, it works (for the 10 or 20 tracks I have there).I’d deeply ap

have created a routine in Amazon Alexa which includes playing music from the Sonos Roam. After some time when the Roam goes into sleep mode - it seems that it does not respond to the Alexa routine unless it is manually woken up.I have read other forums which say the Roam should respond to Alexa routines even while in sleep mode - soI'm wondering if there is something else I need to doAll I can think is to disable to sleep mode on the Roam so it is alway on, but obviously this has effects on battery lifeCheers for any input!

I have 2 music sources I want to remove, but there is not option to remove. One source is from my NAS, and another from a PC. Both disply on the windows desktop app as well as the mobile app, but neither show up on ´manage library settings´ on desktop, or ´services and voice´on andriod app.How can they be deleted?

Hi, I have read through all related posts and can’t seem to figure out how to get it working. I have just purchased a Deco Mesh PX50 which is a powerline mesh network. I can’t figure out how to get the arc connected to the network and I need this as it is how I stream my music. I also need the mesh as the wifi in the house was not adequate previously. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all!I recently moved an Era100 to another room to use it as a computer speaker and I am running into a strange scenario: If a connect through bluetooth from my mac there’s no delay If I connect through Bluetooth from my PC, there is a noticeable delay. The interesting thing is that I also have a Muso QB. If I connect through bluetooth to it from the same PC, I don’t experience any delay. I am not a 100% sure why there’s only delay on the Era 100 and not both of the speakersAnyone had a similar scenario and was able to sort it out?

Hi there, I know it has been discussed several time in here, but just want to be updated. Is there a way to use several Sonos Five speakers as PA. is there a way to reduce that 75ms lag  in the audio output? Thank you for your consideration. I can try this with SOnos beam or SOnos AMP.

After rebooting my music voice command "Stop music or pause music" will not function.

I’ve just purchased an Indoor/Outdoor set (Era 100 and Move), I plan on getting a second Era 100 to set up together eventually, just didn’t do it right away due to the cost. My question is, could I have 2 Era 100 in sync with my Move? I’m not concerned with stereo sound. I just want the two era 100 playing inside and the move outside when I have people over. sound from Sonos Arc is ok when playing netflix or hbo max, but NOT when playing sound from the TV, any idea why?, everything is connected properly to the TV as netflix and hbo max work ok

Hello, suddenly all music services disappeared from the app and when trying to add new ones, the page is completely blank. I'll add screenshots on this.The system and all products have been reset, updated and tried to logout/login of the account. The app works on our other systems but not this one.

Hello,My subwoofer keeps expiring unexpectedly.As in, it briefly turns off before turning back on. When I stop and restart it, it always starts. It seems to happen more frequently when I play it at medium to low volumes.What are your thoughts?  Moderator edit: Corrected autocorrected “subscription” to “subwoofer”. 

I would like to use my Eras 100 as a speaker for my Mac Studio.Since I want to avoid delays, I would like to use the line-in on the ERAS 100. Bought a USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor from Apple, but it’s not working.Do I need the SONOS dongle absolutely? Is there something unique about the SONOS version?  I don’t think the Mac Studio has a “pre-amp” but I am not sure. Will it work once I have the proper dongle or I will be limited by my Mac Studio output capacity?

Every update is torture.   Sonos seems like a pretty with it company so why is the update process so difficult?

I have a 10 year old system with one ZONEBRIDGE1 and 2 CONNECT:AMP. The two amps controlled all of the wired speakers, one upstairs and one downstairs. They were controlled through a Sonos app on a very old iPad. It looks like my Bridge has died, along with the iPad. I downloaded the Sonos app on my phone, but it can’t find my system. I think I need to replace the bridge, and understand it is outdated. Given that everything is wired, is there a product I can get that would allow me to run the system as is, without having to reinvest in new speakers everywhere?

How can I get my Sonos Roam SL to echo music/radio on my Alexa

Ok so i have a commercial gym and i have SONOS for the music.I have had it for some time and it works good, i have it set to wake up at 03:55 in the morning right before the gym opens up.The gym is open from 04.00 in the morning until Midnight.But what i would like to do is at 00:05 is to start a new playlist with Alarm Sounds because i have some member that stay behind closing hours sometimes.I want this playlist to just play for maybe 10min and then stop. How do i set this up?Regular music start at 03:55 in the morning and stop playing 23:59 when the gym closes Start a new playlist at 00:05 (after midnight) where i have Alarm sounds :) that plays for just 10min and then stops and nothing else plays until 03:55 when the regular music starts againI have been looking around but i am not confident to set it up correct and i dont want alarm sounds to be on from 00:05 and all night :) haha

New router fitted and can't get alexa on sound bar

I got delivery of my beam 2 on the 6th and have the 5.1 setup with sub and one SLs which is great.Ive had an issue twice now with my beam going full volume sounding like a machine guns going off in my livingroom which is unbearable, especially for my dog 😅 and I’ve unplugged it straight away. Once plugged back in it’s fine.The first time was when connecting the beam to my TV but the hdmi had not yet been plugged into the unit, so power on only, 2nd time was when I had paused the tv for a few minutes.I will submit a diagnostic to Sonos next week when I can contact support but thought in the meantime I’d check if this is something anyone else has had issues with as I can’t find anything online?Thanks in advance 🎵

Playing music on my Roam is a very frustrating hit and miss thing. Sometimes it works, but more often it doesn’t. Never had this problem with JBL bluetooth speakers. It works great on wi-fi, but not when travelling. It shows the connection on my phone and music is playing, but no sound comes out of speaker. I have turned off speaker and un paired and re paired in many different instances and still no go. I can’t figure out what I do differently when the music actually plays. I am using this only when not in my home with the wi fi connection. Anyone have similar issues? Have any fixes?
