I have registered my amazon account for alexa on my sonos one, but every time i ask it which account it is in, it states it is in my wifes account ( who is a household member).I have disabled the skill, deregistered the sonos one and then set up alexa again using my amazon account, yet when i ask again which account it is in alexa says its in my wifes account!?!The odd thing is when i have set up my beam using my amazon account, alexa on my beam says i am on my account (not my wifes), doing this in parallel, my sonos one always says its in my wifes account and when i ask it to swap accounts it says it can’t do that, all very frustrating.The only thing that seems left to me, is to remove my wife from my household amazon profile, but then i can’t add her back in for 180 days. Any suggestions from anyone. 

*** Update - its connected *** Hello,I have been experiencing continuous drop outs when trying to listen to my Sonos Roam. I read that I needed to connect to 2.4 instead of 5g. So I reset it while I temporarily disabled the 5g band.How do I now reconnect it to my WIFI? I’ve reconnected my iPhone to WIFI so it's (presumably on 2.4). Opened the SONOS app which helpfully tells me that the roam is not found and to ensure it's connected to WIFI. But that is what I am trying to do.How do I get the thing back onto my WIFI?The LED on the Roam is flashing green.

Hello there,  Sonos Radio seems unable to launch some of the TuneIn stations anymore. For instance, all the stations from Radio France (french national network) are unresponsive : franceinfo, France Inter, France culture… When selected and launch, nothing happens.  This does not happen with other Sonos radio stations nor with other TuneIn stations. 

My play 3 rear speakers make a whooshing noise on some programs. Other times they are fine. I have to turn off the rears when some programmes are on

Crossfade feature on Sonos when streaming Spotify works on every other song. It will play one song, crossfade correctly, then play the next song for 20 seconds and skip to the next song. That song will play in its entirety and crossfade correctly then skip the next song after about 20 seconds. I see this topic has been posted many times before with no resolution. Any help???I use Sonos quite a bit and this feature helps the mood for events. I will need to switch to other services if this persist. Thanks!

I would like too know if I bought 2 pair of in wall Sonos speakers and 1 amp. Could I use a pair for each side left and right and still set up the surround sound off the arc and 2 subs? 

My Play5 make a tiking sound After a while It Is on.There Is the noise when I play music and even when I don't play.It starts slow and became faster and faster.Anybody has a solution?Thanks

I have a play one underneath a fake fireplace that I use for fireplace sounds. Now I added another play:one to the other side of the room. I paired them to create stereo set. now my frustration is that I can no longer use the single speaker for the ambient sound. mis there a way to sort of duplicate the spreker so it’s able to be selected as a stand alone but also as part of a set? I would hate to pair and unpair them all the time. 

Hi everyone!I’m new to sonos world and loving it overall. I did a test on something today which was quite confusing for me. I have sonos beam gen2 + sub mini + 2 era 100’s for surround. I have a 55” lg tv and apple tv 4k connected via hdmi. Sonos beam is connected via earc hdmi port. When i watch netflix on apple tv 4k, ie the gentleman, i get “multichannel pcm 5.1” but if i watch it on lg smart tv’s netflix app i get dolby digital plus 5.1 which i prefer because it’s louder and cleaner for dialogue weirdly. I have earc on, pass through and bitstream set up on tv and on apple tv 4k - i have audio/change format OFF, dolby atmos ON. Even if i turn on Change Format and keep dolby digital 5.1 i have the same on my sonos app “multichannel pcm 5.1”Help :) 

I have a Port and have a playlist/alarm scheduled to be playing continually and it seems that after a power cycle the unit will stop playing. Is this normal operation or is there a workaround? thanks

Hi there,  I'm a music professional (sound engineer) with a 7.1.4 Atmos studio in France. I own 2 Arc 300. Those are fantastic speakers for Atmos playback and are paving the way towards Atmos adoption by the general public. Awesome job Sonos ! But I need to be able to play local Atmos files (.mp4 with DD+ JOC endoding) for quality control before sending to online services. I need also my clients to be able to do that so they can approve the mixes outside the realm of my studio and their headphones. The only way right now appears to be through an apple TV to an HDMI equipped Sonos Beam 2 / Arc with Era 300 as surrounds. This is not ideal, and quite more expensive, and I very much enjoy front facing Era 300 (as surrounds, the front drivers are deactived by design). Sonos Era 300 are already streaming DD+ JOC  files from Apple and Tidal, it shouldn't be too difficult to do so from a local NAS / phone ? Please Sonos 🙏

Is the cable supplied with the arc soundbar earc?

I have a Sonos 1 system including one play:3 and two play:5 and a ZP90.My ZP-90 stoped working (it’s dead) so I bought a “new” second handed.Since I received it I have facotry reset it, plugged it by wire to my router and tried to install it (from my iPhone-app) via system->add product. But the system can’t find it.When I reboot it now it starts blink green. I have rebooted everything: the modem, the router, unplugged all play-speakers, the apps on my two phones.Any ideas? 

There were problems earlier this year with Wifi Mesh networks running in parallel with Sonos. Are these solved in general? Does anyone have experience with running Asus ZenWifi AX XT8 and Sonos?

Hi,I’ve had a long time problem with the Play:3 and Amp products in my system, dropping out and skipping, most frequently just one channel of a stereo pair of Play:3.As two Play:3 units are in an extension, effectively outside the original house, I invested in a Ubiqiti UniFi switch and added hard wired WiFi points in a few rooms (including the extension). I’ve tried both with SonosNet and wi-fi only configurations. There are a number of articles on configuring the plethora of options on the UniFi switch, which I have followed, but it seems that Sonos works less well with a decent switch than a cheap ISP provided wifi/router/modem combo. Go figure.The frustrating thing through all of this is the amount of time that I have spent explaining all of this to Sonos support and the process that I go through every time with this. The problem is effectively resolved by switching the speakers on and off again. Each time on support calls I am asked to turn off everything, including all Sonos unit

I recently setup a WiFi extender and after much troubleshooting, I managed to group my Sonos Move with my Sonos Arc setup (connected to router via ethernet cable), which uses a pair of Era 300s as surrounds. Earlier, I wasn’t able to group them due to the error message saying that a speaker needing to be connected to the router despite the Arc being connected to the router. I didn’t know this was an issue with extenders but my WiFi doesn’t quite extend throughout the whole house so I was hoping it would help with slow/spotty internet.Anyway, I am hoping I don’t have anymore issues with grouping my Sonos speakers despite the extender but I am hoping someone can clarify/confirm I shouldn’t because the Arc is connected to the router.(In the future, I might want to extend my set to include an Era 100, for example. I’m also hoping I won’t have issues with the Move again.)If this might become a problem I need to worry about then I would assume I should drop the extender altogether.

Hi all. First post after doing a lot research putting a theater sound system together. So far I will be doing an Arc and Sub. Unfortunately, due to my recroom design I will be using the Sonos 8” in-ceiling Architecture speakers and Amp for surrounds as opposed to the Era300’s. My question is in regards to the Sonos Architecture installation manual. It states that adding an additional set of in-ceiling Architectural speakers will yield 7.1. Hi! I have the Sonos Beam gen 2 (connected to tv) and the Sonos Era 100. I am planning to purchase a turntable with built in pre-amp and connect it to the Era 100. And then ”group” the music through both speakers.  My question is:Will I be able to adjust the music volume that comes from the turntable, out of both speakers, by using the buttons on either the Era 100 or the Beam? So that the volume changes simultaneously. Because the turntable doesn’t have a way to controll the volume, and I don’t want to have to purchase a separate pre-amp with volume controll, just for that action.  Please help./ Filip

I used to play music through mobile's bluetooth on my era 300. Today for some reason i reset my mobile'n network and paired era again now i am not getting any audio from the speaker.

Diagnostic # 1979963598My beam just started going down to mute out of no where. I tried turning off the touch controls and disconnecting from google assistant, which didn’t work. Also the tv says the beam is muted. I can turn up the volume using the remote or the app. If I’m lucky it will only drop a few points. But if I try to adjust it, it goes back down to mute. any advice on how to fix this?

I have 2 sonos play 1 speakers that have both stopped working and I can't get them going again.  In setting them up ...and failing...sonos has wanted to use a temporary WiFi setting instead of my own WiFi. Any advice? Do I need to reset them or restore factory settings 

HiTuneIn had a promo last week, offing Premium for £39.99 for the year instead of £79.99, so i decide to bite. I have it set up on Sonos but it’s a bit “weird”,a dn I don’t know if it’s user error, TuneIn issue or Sonos issue.For example, if I click Browse Genres I get “no selections are available”, same for “Find your decade & genre station”. But if I click Music then Top Music Genres then Country then Top Country I can see some stations. And I can also click Music then Top Music Genres then 80’s then Premium Stations I see Nation 80s (and nothing else).I have clicked Reauthorise.Many thanks Jim

My current set up consists of a Sonos Arc + two Sonos One + Sonos sub. I’m thinking about adding two Era 300’s for the backstage, will this be overkill? And would it make sense to move the Sonos One’s to the front?
