I have two questions: I recently purchased a samsung the frame tv and have a Sonos beam sound bar. The sound bar is connected to the One Connect box and produces volume, but there is no way to control the volume using the Samsung remote. Can I change this?   I have two Sonos One speakers that are connected to my living room. I tried adding the beam to the same Sonos group, but I get an error that my app is not the right one. I’ve uninstalled the Sonos 1 and Sonos 2 apps about twenty times, and I cannot get the app to recognize the sonos beam at all?

I am a long term customer of Sonos. Currently I own more than 20 devices. In my home theater I have an Arc, two 300's, and two Subs, one of them is a Gen 1 and the other Sub is Gen 3. My Gen 1 Sub shows as "Not connected", and for a couple of years now… I tried resetting many times, changing positions, etc. I don't know what else to do. Any recommendations? 

I’m ready to dip my toe into the Sonos ecosystem and am looking for some advice.I’ve been streaming Spotify in our kitchen daily for the past eight years using a first-gen Amazon Echo. I’m excited by the prospect of better sound quality. An Era 100 seems like an easy decision... Swap out one smart speaker with Alexa for another with much better sound.However, I’m wondering if I might be better served with a Beam Gen 1 or Gen 2, as it could serve as both a smart speaker for music streaming and an upgraded soundbar.For context, my family lives in a small two-bedroom apartment with a combined kitchen, dining area, and living room. Our TV is an old LG with RCA and Optical outputs only. Right now we have it connected to a Visio sound bar from 2015 that is pretty mediocre.There are so many variables I’d like to optimize around and it is kinda overwhelming. I would like to disable my Beam and only enable the 2 Five and my sub while playing music.an option should be added.a similar option is already available for the sub and the surrounds.

A few months ago we added a Sonos Arc to our LG G3 TV.  It worked great except that volume control only worked on the TV remote, but not the cable remote.  Then one day the volume control suddenly stopped working on BOTH remotes. So I can hear the volume but I cannot adjust it except by getting up and doing it by hand.  I’ve tried the LG Magic Remote specific instructions listed elsewhere, but they make no difference (when they even match what’s on my tv).   I’ve tried resetting the remote, making sure CEC is enabled, and changed just about every setting on my TV, but none of it makes a difference. Getting increasingly annoyed.

Has anyone used military discount?  I saw ID.me show 25% military discount for Sonos.com, I log in to my ID.me account as it already had my military record.  It generated a code and redirect me to Sonos.com.  I add sub and speaker to cart but the coupon code is showing “Coupon cannot be added to your basket”.  Anyone know if this is an error or is ID.me discount is only marketing gimmick?  Thanks in advance.  

I'm currently using a Denon AVR with 5 Teufel speakers connected to the AVR with cables. The Samsung TV is connected to the AVR via ARC HDMI. Now I would like to transmit the TV sound in another room parallel to the 5 speakers. Which AVR / AMP do I need and is it even possible? 

I figured out how to make a speaker group in the Sonos app, the only issue is when I ask Alexa to change the volume, it only changes it for the one that was activated using Alexa. I tried making a group in the Alexa app combining the speakers into one, but nothing happens.

HiHere is my diagnosis number **************I have stuttering issues since I have connected my Sonos Move to my setup.I am connect wirelessly with my Playbar, Play3, Move. I currently use my turntable with my Era 100 and also have a cd player that I connect.I am due to purchase another Era 100 and was wondering if I can connect my cd player to one era and the turntable into the other using the line in ports.  Would this work and does it show you have two line inputs on the App?  

I’m having a similar issue as this fellow: A little background on my issue.  I have a Sonos OneSL in my bedroom that I use at night to play white noise.  I have a daily alarm set to go off at 10pm and run till 7am.  The white noise is a Spotify “song” entitled White Noise 3 Hour Long and it’s in a Spotify folder with 4 instances of the same track to ensure sufficient coverage throughout the night.  It’s worked flawlessly for a couple of years now.Until this past week.For the last 4 or 5 days, at 4am on the dot, the white noise cuts out and a jazz track starts playing, waking both me and the wife.  It’s making the wife very unhappy.  😱  I have no idea how or why this is happening.  I have deleted all the other Sonos alarms I had on the controller (even though none were “active”).  I deleted the Spotify folder with the white noise track and created a new one.  I checked my idevices (iPhone and iPad) to see if I had a rogue alarm on one of them using Spotify.  I even checked the wife’s p

Accidentally upgraded to S2.  Need to downgrade my Sonos ones to be compatible with S1 controller.  Reset and they are at flashing green, but S1 controller add device option is greyed out.  So mad! Need help!

Not sure what to do but any help would be greatly appreciated. I can connect to my Sonos account and see all my media players. When I select Sirius It shows all the channels but they are greyed out/ not highlighted where you can select to play them? I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Unauthorized reauthorized. Looking to purchase a turntable to hardwire to my Sonos 5..looking at angel horn  wishing looks a lot like the PT1 but half the price .  It has a pre amp .Does anyone know if this turntable  (angels horn 3600L (upgraded to bluetooth) will work with Sonos 5 (model S100)  RCA  jack ?   

Hello All,I got Sonos Zoneplayer 5, not sure of the generation number, but the volume selector is on top of the machine. I bought it on an impulse from Ebay, as I was looking for an external speaker to play my ipod. I have an old (big) ipod, 80GB size. Over 10 years old, easily.All I want to do is plug my ipod in with an 1/8 inch, which I did, to listen. Nothing. No sound.So, did I buy a brick? This thing is useless at this point. I have a Pixel 8 pro and looking to buy 2 era300 speakers and subscribing to apple music.(Currently using Amazon music) I have a query if someone can answer. With the Sonos 2 app and apple music connected as a service in the the app.  Does the Dolby Atmos/spaital audio work if I select music directly via the Sonos app? I know this works on iPhone, but need clarification whether it works on pixel 8 pro. thanks

Hi. My sonos move just stoped. I did a resett, and now i get «livingroom not registered» Tried most tips i could find, but no can do. Sonos app do see my speaker, but it wont play.

So long time Sonos user. About 2 months ago I upgraded all my components to the newest versions. All seemed well for about 6 weeks. Everything seemed rock solid. Last two weeks components randomly seem to be disappearing from my system in the iOS app. They mostly disappear, sometimes reappear. If they don’t reappear I have to reboot the component, sometimes factor reset it. The totally weird thing is if music is playing on a component which it disappears the music carries on playing with issues. But I can no longer control the component because its vanished from the iOS app. Even weirder, the missing components on iOS do sometimes appear in the Mac app.My network system hasn’t changed for the past few years. LTE 5G router, wireless turned off, attached to Google Wifi Pro mesh system which is the only wifi supplier in the apartment.Anyone have any ideas what might be going on and how my future doesn’t involve setting aside a couple of hours each week to reboot/factory reset Sonos compne

Have a fluance record player with a built-in amp. Would an external preamp provide better sound to my Sonos speakers. I have a line in to fives.

Hello there  I have a Sonos Amp and a number of Sonos Ones around the house. Whenever we play records in the house the volume on the Soho One is very quiet, relatively. By which I mean if you turn the volume way up it sounds fine, but then anything else played is super loud, and needs to be dialled back.  This happens across all speakers and there are no apparent issues with the setup, cables and connections are all fine. The record player is a Audi-technical and has never given me issues  Has anyone encountered this? Is this expected and just part of the setup, or is this something that with further investigations can be amended  Thanks in advance for any assistance  

Hi everyone! I’m finding there are multiple solutions to this issue depending on the set up and turntable. Basically I have set up my Music Hall MMF-1.3 Turntable to my two Era 100 using line in connected to a RCA to AUX and I’m getting a massive humming noise.Changing the source level to the lowest does resolve the issue, however I’m too understand it should be at 10 for a turntable so I don’t think I’m getting the best out of it. The humming also returns on a low level if the volume is too high, I like to listen to my records quite loud.I feel like a grounding cable might help, but I don’t know where I could connect the other end too given the Era 100 doesn’t have anything to connect it to.  Things to note:The turntable has a built-in phono pre-amp the tone arm is aluminium  each speaker is 0.6m either side of the turntable  The turntable also sits under my TV All of the adapters for my entertainment unit sit underneath where my turntable sits connected to a power board I have a feel
