Have one ray and two era 100. Trying to set up surround sound but every time I try, it says that it’s unable to connect. Check WiFi and that the speakers are on. I’ve checked and tried several times but the same issue pops up everytime

I got a Port to replace my ZP80 which was glitching its connection to my S1 system. I find difficulty installing the Port in this S1- system and wold appreciate some advice

Hello, I want to put a SONOS roam 2 in the bathroom since it is small and splash-resistant. I would like to know if it is possible to leave it always connected so that it is always on, or if that is not possible?

Hej.Er der stadig ingen forklaring eller løsning på problemerne med kæmpe forsinkelse på op til 30 minutter på afspilning af radio via DR Lyd?Jeg kan se, at flere har stillet spørgsmålet, men jeg kan ikke se nogen forklaring.Jeg hører typisk P4 Kbh. via DR Lyd app'en i Sonos. Men ofte springer den pludselig op mod en halv time tilbage og gentager bare programmet. Det var meget tydeligt, da jeg hørte Superliga afslutning i søndags, og min radio stadig manglede en halv time af kampen, da jeg kunne læse på nettet, at FCM var blevet mestre🙄Det sker ofte. Og jeg kan komme tilbage til live, hvis jeg fx lige skifter kort til P3 og så tilbage tll P4. Men det kan jo ikke være rigtigt, at man selv skal holde øje med, hvornår Sonos er kommet ud af sync.Er der virkelig ingen forklaring på dette problem, som jeg kan læse mig frem til har eksisteret i årevis?Vh. I have multiple sonos products inc 2 surround sound setups.  Recently my playbar has stopped connecting to the wifi.  I’ve reset the playbar and router multiple times & still no resolution.  The playbar connects to network if I use an Ethernet cable but that’s in a different room to where the playbar lives.  Have researched extensively and can’t find a resolution.  Any help appreciated as all my other devices connect to the same network with no issue.

I’m having difficulty connecting my turntable via my Denon AVR-2808-ci to Sonos 5. I have tried the avr’s  zone 2 (& 3)  pre outs and thought I made all appropriate setup steps as described in the “proved solution” but it’s not working.  

Specs: mainboard: TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI VGA: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 TiI bought Beam 2 and want to connect with a PC but no sound can be heard from the HDMI port base on the mainboard or VGA, I changed to using Sonos HDMI to optical but still silent, what do I need to config or do something to beam 2 working? I just bought a Sub Gen 3 and want to connect with my existing Move as well as with my 3 Era 100 but I cannot add it to the group I created? How does that work?

I’m trying to fix a “no power” Connect:Amp Gen 2 and made great progress - before it all went wrong.Fix: Fuse was blown and two MOVs on the VPRI/VMID rails were low resistance. I replaced these, reassembled enough to test it, and it booted! The app found it, added it to a room, and then said it needed an update. This went ahead but the unit didn’t come back afterwards.Current: It powers up (3.3V and 5V rails fine), turns on the white LED for 4 seconds, this then goes off for 18 seconds, and then it repeats. While the LED is off, the Ethernet lights are flashing as expected, so I guess MAC and PHY have been initialised. It will not go into factory reset mode by holding play/pause when powering up.Theories: 1) it was bricked during the update and I’m screwed, 2) there is a fault elsewhere that the previous firmware didn’t detect but this firmware does. I see chat elsewhere about 36V to the riser board, but my reading of the PCB is that the riser just enables the MOSFETS to supply DC to t

I can only start playing music from my phone at the room that was playing the last. Sometimes a button pops a “view system” and you can select another current output (before putting on music!) but that almost never does. Anyone knows? I’m on iOS iphone.

Hi Sonos Community,I've been experiencing some connectivity issues with my Sonos system lately, and I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting. I've checked my Wi-Fi connection and it seems fine, but my speakers keep dropping out or losing connection. Any suggestions on how to diagnose and fix this problem would be greatly appreciated! 😗

The condo i purchased has been hard wired with speakers throughout the entire two stories. Can i hook up my Sonos speaker to them?

Hi everyone.  I am stumped! We have successfully used TruePlay multiple times for all of the rooms in our house and recently I wanted to redo it for our home theatre (Arc, Era 300s and 2 subs).  When I tried on my iPhone 13 miini I received an error message that there was too much noise in the room.  I tried running it again with everything off and got the same message.  I then tried on an iPhone 14 and received the same message.  Both phones had their cases off, do not have lint in them, and tests were performed in a nearly silent room.  I also turned off Bluetooth. I am not sure what else to try.  Any suggestions? As I mentioned above, the phones are able to use TruePlay in every other room and also successfully performed TruePlay in our theatre in the past.

I am looking at purchasing the new Roam 2.  Can I pair my Older Sonos 1 with the new Roam 2?

I have been a custom integrator for over 10 years. This single update is by the worst update of ANY system or company I have ever used. Where are my EQ controls from the grouped volume slider? Where is my ability to MUTE a single zone while grouped on the volume slider screen? The most important question for me is where is the ability to individually adjust the distance of the rear surround speakers therefor adjusting the volume. Most installations in residences are not perfect square boxes and that is the only way to get proper surround volumes for odd shaped rooms. What the heck are you thinking SONOS. If not fixed ASAP I will be moving to Denon HEOS as a dealer and recommend to everyone to walk away from SONOS.

Why from time to time som of the speakers stop playing?

I've read in this forum that everyone appears to be having major problems with the current version of the app. Unfortunately, I have the same issues; lost playlists, lost access to radio stations (doesn't like Radioplayer, My Tuner etc) . I've tried contacting them but the Chatbot  just takes you round in circles. Is there an email address to try? Or anyway to downgrade the app?Thanks  

Customers with their own music stored locally made Sonos. Put them on the map. They exist due to us.  Sonos has since by conscious design left us and moved to connected services. I understand why.  But this latest complete removal of the ability to use my Sonos as it was marketed and sold to me, to listen to my music absolutely beggars belief.  The update was automatic. I have now lost the ability to play my music in FLAC format.  Like many I’ve invested thousands over the years. I moved much to Blusound. Dumped my Sonos because of how they treated us. But I kept some for some rooms. Now I guess I’ll be dumping that too. Blusound is superb. I’ve had enough of being ignored by them.   There is no way this is a bug. This was design. The complete omission of a capability is not a bug. It was a conscious decision to remove any ability to play localised music. Probably to save money on developers and have less and less requirement to have staff. 

If a company takes away all the functionality that u use, making all you speakers useless, is that fraud?I’m beginning to think Sonos is guilty of fraud.

After 2 calls at over an hour each with techs over the last 3 weeks, I'm at a loss here before I sell this and get a different brand. System was great for the 2 years etc I've used it. I'm decent with the app and understand how to get the amp to play and connect the speakers to the amp through it. I did an update on the S2 app about 3 weeks ago and then all hell broke lose. Even after the update I did yesterday 12-6-22 nothing is better.  No soundI noticed the amp is 2.4ghz and speakers are 5ghz wifi on the Comcast app. This seems like a problem. We tried the wired ethernet approach and nothing happened. Like how could this not play after being hard wired to the router??The only time it worked was when I unplugged the amp, then unplugged the router, then plugged the amp back in. The speakers came back on and I thought I fixed it. Couple hours later, dead again. I keep doing all the system diagnostics and it can't find 2 speakers and still no sound. I'll try one last tech call but maybe

Has anyone figure out how to get the Symfonisk speakers set up on an existing Sonos system? I have a picture frame setup with a mini subwoofer, and I have been trying to  add a second speaker frame to make it stereo, but I have not had positive experience with it. Call Sonos a few time (super waste of time), and I even exchange the speaker for a new one in IKEA…. So, the question is what else can I do to get this set up.SONOS if you read this, please send an update for the app, currently it sucks to help set up a speaker, and the Ethernet cable won’t take you to the update part (super weird), even tho the speaker is directly connected to the router.   Thanks!

I’m looking at buying a Ray Soundbar but want to know if I can connect my 2 x play 1 speakers to create surround sound please? 

I have read the threads regarding connecting Sonos to a Synology NAS. It seems that everyone can connect via adding a path to the music library. I have the Media Server application on my Synology, and my Windows PC can see it as a media server. However, my Sonos app does not see it as a media server. My Sonos app does see my Windows Media Server, though. Does the Sonos app support media servers on NAS? It appears that several people have found alternate solutions such as using Plex. I prefer not to use a workaround.
