Does Sonos Amp support Dolby Atmos? 

Hi all, since i changed back to utility warehouse for my broadband my sonos looses connection before it has even played 1 full song…… any suggestions for the best broadband group to use for the best sonos experience? 

Hey all,I had a bad experience back in the days of the LG C7 with lip sync issues with the Sonos Playbar & Arc. I’m looking to buy an LG G4 & was wondering with eARC these days if people with LG TV’s are still having lip sync issues or other problems with LG TV’s?Would really appreciate some help from those particularly with newer LG’s like the C3, G3, C4 & G4 etc.

Our new home is open where the family room flows directly into the kitchen. I want to add Era 100 speakers to the top of my kitchen cabinets as a “rear” channel of sorts understanding it won’t be truly surround. Anyways the distance is about 40 feet from the soundbar.  Do the Era 100s have this type of range to play the signal?  As a side note, I was looking at Bose and the range is 30’. Thanks for any help.   

Why do I have to listen to Sonos telling me that I have just put the volume up or down when the system is connected via my arc hdmi port on my tv.  It blocks out sound and if I adjust sound vis controller three times I feel like throwing the system out of the window as all I hear is Sonos volume up hdmi repeated for each time I hit the volume up button.  I then loose the sound track I was attempting to listen too.  why ??? Can I turn this annoying sound/ function off?

I hava a sonos era 300 in the center of a room, if I connect 2 era 100 speakers on the opposite corners of the room, can this 2 era 100 speakers be connected to the era 300 as central, and the 2 era 100 act as stereo speakers, but the era 300 as stereo or dolby also?

Since I have a new router I can't find the sonos speakers from the spotify app. I can play music from the sonos app via my spotify account. So spotify connect doesn't work properly.Also not finding the google nest's. I can play music from the google nest's by voice command.  As soon as the music plays I can see that nest in spotify connect, Before I had an experiabox v10, now a zyxel EX5601-T1. I don't use the wifi from the router (I tried though, didn;t make any difference). The router is connected to a switch en multiple Aruba AP205 accesspoints.The sonos system consists of 4 ikea symfonisk speakers in 1 room. 1 speaker is wired to the LAN Any idea how to solve?

Hi allI have some components only compatible with the old app and some only compatible with the New app. Everytime I have used the New app, the old app stops working and will only allow me to open the New app.Anyone Else with this issue and what is the potential Fix?  Components on old app, connect amp gen 1 and connectComponents on New app, sub mini and beam gen 2

When I’m listening to my Roam on Wi-Fi using a music service such as BBC Sounds, the music stops every time my android smartphone receives a message.  NB the phone is not actually being used to stream the music to the speaker - it just usually happens to be in the same room somewhere. It’s very annoying !   Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening ?

Hi,i recently bought a Move 2 (not yet received) for the outdoor use on my porch.And now i had that idea, that i can use the Move 2 as a front speaker and my existing one sl as rears for an incredible public viewing of fifa european cup next month.so: can i connect the move 2 with a tv and the sound then goes to the rear one sl’s like my arc is the master to them in my living room.thx for replies and suggestions

The last couple of months, the upward-firing drivers on my Arc and Era 300s (as surrounds) randomly become silent and don’t play any height channel audio from a Dolby Atmos source. This happens with all connected devices (Apple TV 4K, Panasonic UB820 Blu-ray player, Roku Ultra) connected to my TV (LG C3 OLED). I have had to unplug the Arc from power about five separate times to get the drivers to work again. I imagine this is happening to more users, but they probably haven’t noticed because it is just the height channel effects missing from the audio. But it is pretty noticeable when playing music in Dolby Atmos as there are pieces of the song completely missing.If I had to guess, the problem started happening after the 16.0 S2 update. But it could possibly be an LG issue too since I purchased the C3 at the end of January.I have seen one other user on Reddit report the same problem. If any other users are experiencing this, please report it here.@Corry P, please look into this issue.T

Lost internet for about 2 hours last night. Internal network/wifi was fine. The Sonos app couldn’t find any speakers or do anything. I have music on a local file share and Plex.  I ended up airplaying from my phone using PlexAmp, which pulls files off my local Plex server. I was even able to group speakers by holding down the play/pause button. So the speakers were on the network. A variety of speakers (Ones, Move 1/2, Amp).  Is this something goofy with my network or is this just they way it is?

Hi there, I recently repaired (what i guess is a gen 1 play 3 as it doesn't have a play button - just mute and volume) and all worked great - updated it to S2 app and connected via 5Ghz no worries.Then repaired a gen 1 play 5, connected using S1 app as gen 1 play 5 not supported in S2 app.. Realised it had connected to the 2.4ghz after getting some drops while playing Spotify. Tried all manner of resets and router settings to get it to show the 5ghz network but no joy.Can someone who knows for sure let me know if it has 5ghz wifi at all? Just assumed it would as the play 3 does - which I guess is from the same generation. Thanks for any help 👍 

Hello: I’m trying to understand if connecting a pre-amp powered turntable to a port will enable me to play vinyl across my current system. Entertainment roomArc Amp (aux disabled) 2 pair Sonance in ceiling speakers connected to Amp as surrounds.  1st gen sub3 other RoomsSonos Play:1i had to disable my Amp’s aux port for surround to my ceiling speakers, and am curious if hooking a turntable up to a port and connecting that to my system will deliver sounds across this system and other rooms. sorry if this has been answered.

Sonos one sl speakers no longer play music. They appear in air play menu and can be selected. Apple devices think they are are playing, but no sound comes out. Tapping on the speaker top to change volume moves the volume bar on apple devces, but there is no sound. Actually they play about .5 second burst and then go silent.  I have a home pod which continues to play but all other rooms are quite.  I thought I would reset them, but the Sonos app says I am not on the internet, but obviously I am.frustrated in St. Louis

Hi there! I’ve been having significant issues with my Sonos system for the last few months; these issues have happened in the past but always resolved themselves. Issues such as rooms dropping completely from the UI, rooms not being able to be added to a group, rooms dropping music when grouped, not being able to connect to SiriusXM, etc.I’ve been doing a lot of searching and reading here and on Reddit, and decided to wire as many of my devices as possible and move off SonosNet to my wifi network. Some info about my system:2 Arcs, each paired with an Amp and Sub (2 TV rooms) 2 Ones paired in one room 3 additional Ones in other rooms (screened porch, garage, kids room) 2 additional Amps (patio, gym) 9 Ports 1 Move, 1 Roam Ubiquiti dream machine with many managed switches and 7 backhauled APs, latest protocol. I have tried to add my iTunes Library on my PC to SONOS.  When I did that my PC’s Sonos App showed Music Library >Indexing.  Indexing has been going on for about 10 hours and is not yet complete.  I have approximately 2,500 music files.  Indexing over 10 hours seems much longer than what I have read is typical. Can someone provide ideas of what to do nextThanks

Hi - I’m about to purchase a Samsung s90c, but before I do I wanted to check if anyone has had any compatibility issues with the Sonos Arc. I originally had a Samsung q90T that I’m getting rid of - it has an issue with my Sonos Arc where the sound will cut out for a second every 15-20 minutes when Atmos is turned on via my PS5. When I had my playbar connected to it, it had awful sync issues. Needless to say, the Q90t has to go. But if anyone here has experienced issues with the Samsung s90c please let me know. I’m also considering the LG c3 but I don’t like the picture quality as much.
