Hello, If all the speakers are connected in multiroom mode (TV & music), is it possible to play music on just one of them from time to time without disconnecting everything?When I watch TV, sound is played by the speakers, can I playl separately music on the one in the kitchen without disconnecting the multiform settings ? thanks for your help

just hot a sky glass tv, The sound plays ok through the Sonos system but I cannot control the volume, a quick Google seems to show this is a common issue. Just wondering if anyone has found a solution?The soundbar is connected to the tv via HDMI-arc 

My Sonic Beam occasionally cuts out, I have to power off by socket and restart.

I have an Arc and two Three for rear surrounds.Plan on add a Sub later on. I read on a non Sonos forum that it may be possible to add 2 5’s as left and right speaker at the front. Is this correct? Steve

I’m so frustrated to even be writing this, I’ve probably spent 40+ hours troubleshooting my Sonos Move speaker which I got several years ago. Of course, the problems are presented when trying to get the speaker to connect to other Sonos speakers-- the entire point of owning multiple Sonos items :) It’s not my network, the app is updated, the speaker is updated, and I’ve factory reset it maybe 10 times now, since that’s the default fix that every Sonos Customer Service representative suggests. If only resetting the speaker would magically fix its fatal connectivity flaw! After giving up on Wifi connectivity, I plugged one of my Sonos One speakers into an ethernet cord to my modem to create their own special Sonos network. The Sonos One and Sonos SL stay constantly connected now, but the Move speaker drops from the app multiple times a day and becomes unusable. Sonos beam2 registered in Spain and English language was selected but emails are all sent in spanish.  How do I receive my emails in English?

Hi, I am able to play songs through spotify on my sonos that are in playlists or if i search. If I try and play songs from my library in the ‘songs’ folder they will not play. I receive a (701) error. I have tried rebooting router, rebooting my sonos beam, removing spotify service and adding back to sonos app. The problem still remains. This issue did not always exist. Any help would be appreciated, thank you

OK Until I bought a second Beam, a Gen 2, mid-March 2024 I never had this happen. I always had Alexa active on my Beam G1 and I put it on the G2 as well. To be honest I can’t remember if the Alexa Sonos Skill was always enabled before I bought the Beam G2 and added Alexa to it. Up until now I was able to ask my echo speaker to play a stream such as a radio Station, IHeart or other skill that streams audio; and it would play it on the same device I was talking to. Now it sends it to Sonos automatically. Can I turn this off? Most of the time I like it; would like it better as part of a command only not as a default. Thanks

How do I direct my sonos app. to find my music folder on my Samsung phone?

I’ve recently bought a Samsung S90c tv which has been great. I have a Sonos Arc that is connected to eArc, set to pass-through. I stream through my AppleTV box. Everything works great until I watch something has Dolby Atmos available, which I then get no sound on. Netflix, AppleTV, Disney etc. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you everyone 

Bought my Arc, Sub Gen3 and 2 ERA100’s new in December ‘23. Set them up and have had zero trouble since then. Until now.While streaming shows the Alexa voice randomly interrupts. When this happens the green LED in the center of the ARC comes on, the sounds drops down and Alex’s voice is heard either asking a question or making a statement as if someone said the Alexa wake word. This started about 2 weeks ago. Some times it is once every 10mins or so but then sometimes it is rapid fire, one after the other. There are only two people in a single family house and neither of us say anything nor touch or phones when it happens. Your assistance is appreciated. 

After updating to Ventura 13.2.1, the Sonos Controller Application tries to update, but fails repeatedly. Is this a known issue? If so, what is the solution?

Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and have no problems using AirPlay on any of our Sonos speakers (we have 4 rooms with systems), but my husband is trying to use his iPhone 15 Pro Max to use AirPlay and receives the error that AirPlay cannot connect to any of the rooms. He can use the Sonos app to play Apple Music, just not AirPlay.  Any suggestions on what our problem might be?Thanks

Hi everyone, I recently acquired a Beam (gen 2) that is to be hooked up to a PC set-up as its speaker. I have a pair of Era 300s that I want to link to it as the rears. I bought the Beam to avoid the delay issues that the other Sonos line-in speakers experience, in the context of a gaming/AV use case. The Beam will be connected to my monitor via the HDMI 2.1 connection, with a HDMI 2.1-ready cable, and the monitor connected to the PC tower also via a HDMI 2.1 connection with a HDMI 2.1-ready cable. If relevant, I do have other Sonos products active in the property (2x One SLs, Sub and an Ethernet-connected Arc) - which are currently in their own group in the app. With this in mind, my questions were: 1. If I grouped the Beam + 300s in the Sonos app, would the 300s use the 'internal' group network created by the Beam and also share the same zero/near-zero latency the Beam would otherwise have if it was by itself? 2. Would there be any confounding issues if the Beam was connected to my r

Novice here on tech details on Sonos System and need help with what I need to do to add a turntable to our system. What we have: Hard-wired (non-Sonos) in wall speakers spread through 3 levels of residential home. They are connected to our internet with Sonos ports and an amp of some sort (not sure it’s a Sonos amp, but that might be there too). 10-15 speakers. The wiring has been run to a utility room where our internet and all the Sonos components are centralized (the brain so to speak). What I want to do: Add a turntable (either Pro-ject or similar with built-in amp) to our living room. Question: How do I add this turntable to our existing system so that the records play over our wired speakers (and their various groupings on the app)?-Do I need a Port (does that speak wirelessly to our existing system?), or an Amp (trying not to duplicate components we already own), or would and Era 100 speaker plugged into the turntable communicate wirelessly with our system in the utility room?An

I have three zones.  I had a yamaha 3060 powering them  I now have sonos amp - kitchen studysonos amp- patiosonos port  with the yamaha 3060 amp   is there a way to not have to go into the app (yamaha) and turn it on so that sonos port will work. .. meaning can i just use the sonos phone app and tell it to turn everything on in all zones.. I know sonos port has a trigger.. ?   is there a way for screen tv viewing of what is playing on the sonos system thank you   

I have just tried to add a Beam Gen2, unfortunately I have found I cannot add my Play1’s or play5 to the same system.in an endeavour to add at least the play1 (I have 3) onto the same system as the beam I disconnected the play5, I now cannot reconnect the play5 back onto my Sonos S1 system.please help.

After having connection issues I decided to re connect my system. An article I read suggested installing with the router 5ghz temporarily disabled. Did this and all fine, enabled it and instantly get the message that Sonos and phone need to be on same network.Message fix suggests updating network, I just don’t that to cause problems, if it’s the only way to go then ok.Short of disabling permanently the 5ghz what can anyone suggest? Router is a Virgin Hub5, I’m sure their is a fairly simple answer to this, please!

Would using the Sonos HDMI ARC to optical Adapter plugged into Sonos Ray work using a PS5 / through a monitor connected to the PS5 without audio delay? I know that using speakers there's a 75ms delay, and using a Beam using HDMI would be fine, but the Ray is slightly cheaper and smaller form, so it would work better for my purposes.

Title should read - Alexa Stopped Working on Beam 1Alexa on my Beam Gen 1 has recently stopped workng.  Still works fine on my Beam Gen 2, ERA300 and Roam.I have hard reset the Beam and readded to Sonos and Alexa which it completes successfully and Alexa tells me it’s setup and ready to use.When I give Alexa a command it does not respond.  There is no white light dot above the microphone button on the Beam and repeated pressing of the mic button does not turn it on, however it does change tone on each press.It’s as if the microphone is disabled and I have no way to turn it on.Any suggestions would be great as it’s getting very frustrating now. I should have mentioned.  I am using the S2 app and have been doing for several years now.I have deregistered voice services on the Beam and also the Sonos skills in the Alexa app and then reregisted.  Everything I have tried so far has not been successful. Moderator edit: combined posts

Does anyone else find editing a song queue a bit painful?Pressing edit I would have would have thought you could tap on the negative symbol on the left and delete as many tracks as you want in one go. But, you can only delete them one at a time. Swiping left also deletes but again one at a time, and also after you have swiped or tapped edit the track reappears in the queue.
