This has been happening for some time now - but I’ve just put up with it.

 

Randomly - my Arc disconnects from my tv - it shows the tv volume controls on screen for a second (as I’m guessing the arc is disconnected), the sound comes through the tv speaker, then the arc connects again and takes back over the sound.


It does this for a minute or so, then works again. This happens maybe once a week? Sometimes not for a few weeks.

 

Ive tried resetting the arc, tried changing the hdmi cable. The system is up to date.

Hmmm. You’ve shot my thought by stating you’ve replaced the HDMI cable, I was going to suggest reseating the HDMI, as I surmise a disconnect happening. I think at this point, your best bet is to submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
